I ordered a couple of vent hood filters from PartsDr and all went very well until the parts arrived damaged. I refused the shipment and got a refund but only for the parts, not the shipping. The parts were poorly packaged and were damaged so they could not be used. I asked about the shipping refund and was told there was nothing wrong with the parts. I have pictures to prove the damage. Clearly no one looked at the returned parts nor does anyone care about customer satisfaction. I, the customer, had no responsibility in the packaging or shipping however I will pay the price. PartsDr did not step up and refund the shipping nor did they offer to send more filters using better packaging. This is why people use Amazon. Use PartsDr with caution, no refund on shipping even if it is their fault.

Excellent customer service!
Excellent customer service! Our dishwasher stopped working and I realized it was just a problem with the control panel. Rather than pay for a service visit I just wanted to buy the new part and switch it myself. I looked around the internet for a bit and was mostly looking for a site that had reviews as I have never ordered an appliance part online before from a site I wasn't familiar with. I decided on Parts Dr. I paid for 2 day shipping and it happily arrived overnight. I had a few questions after the part arrived and they were prompt and went above and beyond on the customer service. All of the concerns I had about ordering from an unfamiliar website are now gone. They know their stuff and are taking care of their customers. I will absolutely buy from them again if I end up needing a repair that I can do myself!

So, I sent the item back to Parts Dr., Inc for a refund with my own out of pocket shipping fee. They received the item and told me that it was use so they are not going to refund me and instead ask me to pay for the shipping fee so that can send the item back to me. These company is a scam, if this is the case they sold me a use one and charge me for a branch new one. I had no problem with the refund because I will file a dispute with my credit card company to get my refund back. I just want everyone to be aware of this company and stop buy from them. If, it allow, they don't deserved one star.

We have a *** side by side fridge bout 8 years old. The fridge has a known poor design: The drain hole in the back of the fridge freezes up. Since water can't escape down the drain hole, it freezes on the coils forming a large clump of ice stopping the circulating fan from turning behind the evap cover. Its necessary to remove the plastic cover and styrofoam insulation to melt the ice with a hair dyer. Unfortunately I damaged the styrofoam the 3 times I had to go thru the thawing bs! The styrofoam damage is so severe, the only options were either to replaced it, or buy a new fridge for a couple of grand. Parts Dr was the only one that had the part. Thanks to them we're hoping to get a few more years out of the fridge. The price for for the plastic cover and styrofoam insulation (sold in one unit) was fair, and shipping fast! Parts Dr gets a big 5 stars from me!

The repair videos first caught my attention
The repair videos first caught my attention. They were very professional, and easy to follow. Camera angles, lighting, narration...all was top notch. So after watching several of them I followed the link to the website. The website was easy to navigate, and after I plugged in the model number of my refrigerator, all of the available parts populated the screen. I went to the ice maker section where it verified the model of my refrigerator and confirmed that the ice maker I selected would fit. It also offered up the "y" clips that were talked about in the repair video. The only thing I couldn't find was the silicone sealant. Rather than wasting time searching, I started a quick chat, with one click of the mouse, and the person on the other end quickly sent me an active link to the silicone. The pricing was good and the shipping charges were as well. Assuming that all of the parts are what I expect, (I haven't received them yet), I will certainly do business with Parts Dr in the future!

Scam on returns
Scam on returns. The part came with a return label; so as any other items mail ordered that come w-a label, I used the label to return the product. But a separate email with return instructions noted at the bottom not to use the label in the box. They have made the return process so detailed you don't make it to the bottom for the most important thing! So I'm out the part and $300. I spoke with customer service who was ready to tell me what I did wrong, very condescending! I thought about it and realized the part wasn't available the first part of Dec 2020, and then a few days later received and email from PartsDR saying it was in stock. Now that I see how they operate, it was most likely someone returned to the manufacture incorrectly as I did, and all of a sudden it's in stock. Good scam they got going. If this wasn't a scam, they would put the correct label in the box as other companies and not one that would totally screw you out of the product and your money. I wouldn't suggest doing business with this company.

I ordered an item from the website and received it the next day. Unfortunately, there were two cracks on it. At the time of receiving the merchandise, I was working at the restaurant. I showed it to two customers at the bar and both of them didn't believe it was new. In the meantime, I found an extra receipt addressed to a third party in Maryland, leading me to doubt the item's newness. It seemed it was returned from this third party. When I called the seller, the man on the phone was rude and insisted that it was new, claiming all their items are inspected even if returned. However, the presence of a third party receipt in my package was suspicious. He claimed all their items have cracks, which I knew wasn't true. They refused to exchange the item, so I had to pay for return shipping. The refund I received was the purchase price minus shipping and a 5% restocking fee, as stated in their return policy. Please read it carefully before placing an order.

I ordered an oven element which they said they had in stock on 9/27. I got an email later that day saying it had shipped. On Wednesday 9/29 I did a chat with them asking why it still says label created on the *** site. It said it was Louisville, Ky and I am in Indiana. Normally 1 day transit time. They said they thought it had missed a scan and would check on it and let me know.
Never heard anything and on Friday 10/1 did another chat since *** still said the same thing. Again they said they would check on it. I told them if I didn't hear from them by the end of the day, I would order it elsewhere. Later that day I had a refund from them. That was the only communication I ever got from them other than the order acknowledgement and the item had shipped email.
They wasted a week of my time trying to get this part from them.
I ordered from *** later in the day on Friday 10/1 and had it on Sunday 10/3. Yes, it was 10.00 more, but worth it to not have to waste a week waiting on it, and then have them cancel it. If you don't have it in stock, say so so we can get it somewhere else if the part is needed in a timely manner. Beware of these guys. They will never get another dime from me.

I contacted PartsDr to order an ice maker for my new refrigerator. I spoke with Beau/Bo. After providing the entire model number off of the refrigerator, I ordered what he told me was compatible. After receiving it, it was not compatible. I requested a refund and was told I had to pay shipping charges to send it back. I did, and was issued a refund for the ice maker only, not the shipping amount that I was charged with my order. After thinking more about this I regretted that I agreed to pay for the return shipping and should have fought this. I just called and Beau/Bo answered my call. He claims that he also told me that the wires might need to be spliced and/or and adapter kit was also needed. This is not true. If he had told me that I would have asked to order the adapter kit. Additionally, when I called about sending the ice maker back I explained that I spoke with someone named Beau or Brody who told me this was the correct one and to check their call log. I was told they had no record of my call and suggested I called from a different number. Nope, I only have one phone. He never even acknowledge that there is a Beau/Bo that works there. Buyer beware, if they advise you what to order and turns out its not right, understand that they won't take responsibility and pick up the cost to return and give you a full refund.

Buyer Beware! Caution to using PartsDr online. I opted for 'Next Day' shipping with additional fees. As soon as I received the Tracking #, I contacted PartsDr with the obvious error. Pkg was shipped STANDARD shipping, but PartsDr charged me for expedited fees. I immediately submitted an email inquiry as well as phone call to their 800#. 'Nick informed me if I wanted to know their response to my inquiry, I had to check my email. He refused to offer any assistance over the phone, wished me "a good day", then hung up. Their response was for me to let them know after the pkg was delivered and they would see about a partial credit I requested a full shipping credit. I notified of pkg delivery, they immediately processed a $9.00 credit (difference of Next Day and 2nd Day). But two day deliver was actually STANDARD shipping. The Carrier label validates it was shipped STANDARD yet Parts Dr up charges me for an unnecessary Shipping charge. I should have read the other complaints before using PartsDr. I will never again. The unprofessional and indifferent Customer Service I experience should cause any reader to think twice before giving PartsDr your card# and business. Lastly, both Nick's and Chris' polished and canned replies to my inquiries makes me think my situation is more the Norm than exception for PartsDr.? Let's hope the actual part is correct and work. If not, I'll be eating the $250 cost and taking my business elsewhere.

I ordered three replacement parts for a broken *** refrigerator crisper bin. They arrived and were the correct parts as advertised. Parts Dr. has a text field on their site that asks for a model number of the appliance in an effort to assure that a customer purchases the correct parts. Great confidence builder. A few days later I realized that I was missing another part. Once again. I went on the site and entered the same model number and received a "thumbs up" and an assurance that the new part would fit my fridge. The wrong part arrived. I spoke with Bo at Parts Dr. and he told me that the model fridge I own has been discontinued. He couldn't explain why the Parts Dr. website correctly matched the part with my model number other than to say that I must've used the wrong model number. I emailed him a copy of the receipt with the model number listed and he wrote back saying "If you look closely you'll see that is not the model number that you gave me." At first he wasn't aware that I ordered three other parts using the same model number days earlier and the parts were compatible. His solution was for me to pay for the return of the part and also pay a restocking fee and the balance would be refunded. He didn't have any interest in bringing this error to the web site administrator to avoid any similar problems. I looked up Parts Dr. complaints online before I sent the part back and found several similar complaints where the author was still waiting for their refund months later. Buyer beware.

I will never purchase from here again and would just like to share my story to warn others. I placed an order for a item to repair my refrigerator, it was a french door divider assembly. The item was shipped quickly and arrived on time, HOWEVER, the item in the box was not what I ordered. In hopes to get it resolved quick, I reached out to the company. After going back and forth a few emails and photos, the representative informed me "Unfortunately, all our inventory of this part is incorrect." This is unacceptable, how irresponsible can a company be to just ship out random items when they know their inventory is incorrect. They should have pulled these items and fixed their problems instead of selling the wrong items with knowledge of it being incorrect. I now have take time out of my day to print a return label, drop this item off at a FedEx location, and wait for a refund. In the meantime the financial burden falls on me since this item is paid for and the refund will be pending. So I now have to wait for a refund and my funds to become available before I can order this part from a more reputable company. When going through this, the representative I reached responded quickly, under an hour in between emails. So at least they have decent response time from their representatives, that is the only reason I have them 2 out of 5 stars. It still is just insane to me that they would ship items they KNOW are not correct, utterly careless. I hope I get a refund in a timely manor so I can fix my refrigerator.

I received 2 broken handles from parts doctor. The first one I took the good end from the broken one they shipped me and the good end from the one I already had and fixed the door. I told them that they could send me a partial refund because the plastic end was not worth the $80 I payed for it and they said they could not do that. They sent me a second one that was ALSO broken! I said I would like to return it and they said that they need a picture of both the broken ones together and I said that I told them already that I used their first broken one to fix my broken one. The oven is in a public kitchen and people needed to use it. I said that both the pictures I sent had the individual tracking labels in them and showed different handle breaks. They said that they couldn't do that. I said do whatever you think is best. I guess they figure the best thing is to provide me with broken parts and to keep the money. I was optimistic when I received an email that it might be a refund but nope just another solicitation for a review. They also asked me for a review when I ordered it which is ridiculous because they hadn't provided the service yet so I also changed that to a 1 star and posted pictures on the Google review of the broken parts they shipped me. Since they asked me for two reviews here is my second one! I can't remember any time that I had a worse experience with a company. Thankfully the part was built in such a way that I could scavenge parts off the junk they sent. Just like other reviews I read they blamed ***. Instead of trying to mare it right they argued with me. BEWARE! All the bad reviews are true. I ordered a very simple part ( a thermostat electric jumper for my dryer ) at the beginning of the month after doing a half [censored] research on this company. i opted to order from here due to the quick shipping. Needless to say the whole experience was lacking.
While the web site is put together some what positionally it was hard to navigate parts with in the same machine. When i finally found the part i needed, i confirmed i was still in the same day shipping window and checked out. i received a email confirmation and a tracking number shortly there after. For the next few days i checked the tracking number just to be aware of when i should expect to receive the part. No movement at all. I called *** who confirmed that did receive the request for a tracking number but has not received the package from the sister company ( A partsDR customer service rep, if you can call it that, later said was their warehouse).
I attempted to use the sites chat function to question what was going on. The chat agent was extremely rude and short saying they already sent it and i should receive it in 2 days. He would not confirm the tracking number even though i already told him i was in contact with *** and ended the chat before confirming the issues was resolved. When i attempted to reopen the chat, i couldn't. Its almost like that had me blocked via a cookie or something, after a little black magic i was able to reopen the chat and get the same exact agent i spoke to before, who immediately copy paste his last response an closed the chat.
I again gave it a few days and when no updates appeared on the tracking number, i called the customer service support line. I got a an agent on the phone and explained to them what the issues was and that i have already contacted ***. He said he see the request to ship the part but couldn't figure out why the warehouse hasn't sent it. I was told we would be denoting the account and sending a message over to the warehouse to get the part shipped. A week later still no part no update no new tracking number. I call back, now they say there no record of me calling at all and that the part is in route. Once again i told the man that I've already contacted *** and they confirm they don't have the package, Once again the customer service agent ends the convo before it is resolved. I immediately, called back and requested a refund to which i was told they have to contact *** before they would return my money. I will never order from this place again.

Purchased a part, that was not working, they sent a replacement part, which was not used at all, because we ended up purchasing a new range. Bought a motor for my fridge from parts dr. They shipped the motor in a padded envelope, it has shaft that pertrudes. The shaft was sticking out of the bag when I received it. I installed it and it was making noise. It was damaged because it was poorly shipped. They are saying they can't do anything for me. How would I know it's broken until I installed it? This company hasn't been helpful at all and won't even admit they packed the motor poorly. I found one locally and installed that one because it took them forever to mail it in the first place. Order
Bought a part from parts dr and the part they sent me was faulty and they refuse to replace it without pictures of a product identification card on the appliance. This identification tag was removed sometime before I ever bought it and have told them this repeatedly with solution.

I bought a dishwasher control board from them on July 15, for an undisclosed amount. We really needed a new dishwasher so instead of waiting for the part to come in we bought a new dishwasher and threw out the old one. When the part arrived, I opened the box to inspect it and only handled it to return it. I then incurred a shipping cost to return the part as advised. Now I've been informed via email that I can't be refunded because the part appears used. If true, they sold me a previously installed part. I want a refund for a useless part, but customer support suggested I sell it elsewhere, refusing a refund. This level of customer service and deceit is unprecedented in my experience.

I bought a part from part dr. I was able to fix the appliance without using the part. I never used or installed the part, so I started the return process according to the companies stated return policy. The company received the part and are now claiming that they can see "evidence" that it's been installed and are refusing to refund me the money. Since I know I never installed it, they're either - 1: lying about it (seems likeliest as a standard scammy practice to refuse refunds. Many other complaints about this for this company) 2: sent me a used part to begin with or 3: got it mixed up with another part in their warehouse. However, the reason is irrelevant to me. I complied with everything and expect my refund.
Earlier this month I went on parts doctor.com website. None of their parts had a picture and the description for what I needed said door assembly. I paid $*** for it and they sent me the inside grill to the microwave which is not called the door assembly because I talked to their customer service people. So in order for me to get a refund on my money I have to ship it back and it's gonna cost almost as much as the price for the part. I talked to their customer service people and they basically told me that that's that's the only way I could return it

I purchased a part for a damaged oven. They sent me a damaged part. Now they will not offer a refund or a replacement unless I send a photo of the serial number and part number of my oven. I am able to send them a photo of the oven and also the part number, but I cannot get a photo of the serial number on the oven because the oven is at my rental property which is 650 miles away. My housekeeper will not be back to the vacant property for 3-4 weeks. The part was $*** plus about $*** shipping. I have explained this situation no less than 4-5 times through emails and also their chat. All they do is say "we need the serial number and part number of your appliance" It's almost as if they are digital robots. They don't do anything other than that. I called on their phone number, but nobody will answer to help.

I bought a product. What I received was not the right product, so I wanted to exchange it. It wasn't even out of the plastic. You have to get "permission" to return an item. I couldn't get them to even acknowledge my calls and messages until I finally gave up and bought what I needed elsewhere. I left a message on their *** page. I just wanted to swap it for the right part. If they don't do returns, then fine, say that. They wasted my money and time. The whole thing felt shady, to boot.
I was told that I needed a control board. I ordered two. One from another supplier and one from you. I installed the one from the other supplier and that didn't fix the problem. I sent you your part back. I didn't even open the box. I sent it to you just like you sent it to me, unopened. You claimed the part was installed. You are being dishonest and unfair. You stated the board was factory sealed. If that were true, you would know the part was not installed. You then mentioned you will send it for a secondary inspection and later claimed it was installed. Your actions are questionable. Now it is a matter of principle. I will find every way to let everyone know that your company is not respectable but rather deceitful.
I ordered a refrigerator part from the company at about 8 PM and found out two hours later that the refrigerator had other problems and wasn't worth repairing. At 11 PM I sent an email asking that they cancel the order. They did not cancel the order and in the morning I got an email saying they shipped the part, with a status of a label had been created. I asked if they would at least cancel the shipment. They refused, saying they didn't have the ability to stop the shipment. I contacted the shipping company and they said the shipper did have the ability to cancel the shipment. I again contacted Parts Dr and they refused to cancel the shipment and the shipping company cut me off.

I second all complaints before me. Business refuse to issue refund, hiding behind unreasonable and draconian return policy that is misleading since in effect for most customers there is no option to return when they conduct normal business which include trying out the product, yet wishing to return it in complete new workable condition. Further more, customer need to pay for shipping back the product only to learn that they are not going to get refund and giving the "option" to ship the product back to them at their expense. Why would I want a product that did not fit my needs and spend more money on it? Turns that either you use the product or forget about your money and the product in many cases since you don't want to spend more money on something you don't need. Very bad, unfair and not reasonable business.

I order a part for a washing machine on 4/1. I paid $*** for over night shipping. As of 4/7 I have yet to receive my package. I spoke with the carrier and confirmed that Parts Dr DID NOT send my package overnight but instead sent it regular ground even though I paid for overnight. The carrier has since put a trace on my package as they cannot locate it. I contacted Parts DR via chat asking them to refund just the shipping cost since I did not get what I paid for. They have refused to do so until I receive my package and then the will discuss a "possible " refund. Poor customer service. Seems to be a trend for them
An online company refuses to issue a refund for a purchase. A washer door latch was bought, but my husband indicated it was the incorrect component. We covered the cost to return the part. The retailer, Parts Dr, claims the part was used, which is untrue. After numerous back-and-forth emails, they've offered to send the part back to me at my expense. However, I have no use for the wrong part and simply seek a refund. I've decided to never patronize this online store again and intend to file a complaint about my experience. Disappointments like this would not have occurred with a more reputable establishment.

After they received it they emailed me claiming the part had been installed, this is completely false, i never even opened the part outside of slipping in the return form and taping it back up for shipping, after speaking with 2 different people there they refuse to issue my refund and want me to pay for shipping again so the can ship me back the part or throw it away.

After receiving the mainboard, the technician was removing microwave parts to complete the repair and found a bad switch which was replaced, fixing the appliance. I attempted to return the unused main board and was informed it would not be returned, claiming it had been installed. I was assured by the repair technician that it had not been installed. I have now been charged for the original part plus shipping, shipping charges to return the part to Part Dr., and shipping charges to send the part back to me a second time. After reading multiple similar complaints and negative reviews about this company and their return practices, I have concluded that this is a typical and common unethical practice from Parts Dr.

I ordered a control board for my dryer, and before the part arrived in the mail, my friend gave me his dryer. So I didn't need to repair mine anymore, and upon receiving the part started the return request process. I followed the instructions listed on the company's return request form and followed them to the letter. I then received a email from them saying that there is evidence I installed a part that I literally never touched. I was within my window of return time after purchase, didn't attempt to install, plug in or screw screws into ANY part of the control board I ordered. I find it completely appalling that a company that claims to be a legitimate business, does this to their customers. I feel as though I have been robbed.

This company delivered a package to my front door and I still do not have it. I called about the issue, but it wasn't resolved. On 4/16, I was suppose to get a part for a dryer o ordered. The part was not delivered to me even though it says it was left at my front door. I called the company and they basically lied like they contacted *** in regards to this issue and that was a LIE. *** had no knowledge about them contacting them. This company is a *** and have *** customer service skills. Also, I was told by the worker at partsdr that they said the *** driver said he left it at my leasing office and someone signed for it. That was a lie . My leasing office was closed and had been closed since this pandemic. Also, the tracking information doesn't show it being signed for or even been dropped at leasing office. This company needs to be shut down for their practices and lies.

I returned the both products int he same condition and packaging as they where sent to me. In working with the company to return the products I was told the part was used and I would not be refunded. I am not sure of their business practices, and I now feel like this is how they scam people. Send out the wrong part, stating it was new from manufacturer, then state it was used. I cannot use a part that is not correct and does not have the correct PIN connections for the part it would have been replacing in the first place. The company has taken the stance that it prefers to scam customers by sending out the wrong part then stating wrong part was used when it was never used and couldnt be used as it was the wrong part!

Ordered a part for my oven, repairman said it's not the issue, I never installed it. Parts Dr says I did and are not granting a refund. I ordered a part for my oven after reading some similar diagnostic issues online. I also called a technician. I never installed the part, the technician diagnosed my oven problem and said this part would not fix it, it's something else. I filled out a return request and shipped the part back to them at my expense. Order #: *** part number ***. Once receiving the part, they accused me of installing it, saying there was evidence it had been tried or installed. I've caught them in more than one lie in email exchanges as they said it was shipped to me in factory packaging, in fact it was not. It was shipped loose simply wrapped in bubble wrap. If this part had been installed or tried, it was done so before I received it. There are similar complaints online and on the Complaintsboard.com reviews of them refusing returns and accusing people of installing parts. I simply want a refund, I have already spent shipping costs 2 ways and I'm tired of playing games. If they refuse every return, they should simply state all sales are final.
