PainVanish billed for a non order

I sent in the card for a free sample; a few weeks went by I got the sample. Then later I got more of the stuff that I did not order and a bill for $19.94 and I dont understand why when I did not order it. I have had this problem before with other companies you pay the bill not even thinking about it and you get more stuff and another bill. My advice is dont send in any cards for free samples because this is what happens...

PainVanish invoice for unsollicited merchandise

I received a sample of above product in the mail. Ishredded the prospectus. 3 weeks later, a package came in the mail. Since I did not order it, I put it back in the mail with the mention: "not ordered - return to sender" This week, I received a letter with an invoice for $19.99 marked past due. I do not think I owe anything since the merchandise was returned to the sender and furthermore unsollicited.

PainVanish Never Ordered, Received Invoices (now in Collection)

I received a sample of this product in the mail last year and threw it away. Since then, I started receiving invoices on a regular basis, returning each invoice with a note stating I never ordered the product. I recently received a statement from a so-called collection agency, which mentions that history show I usually pay my bills on time and why don't I pay this one. Who gave them authorization to lookup my credit history? I resent the fact that I will be forced to call this company to explain I never ordered their product, when they already know darn well that this is the case. Someone really needs to put this company out of business!

PainVanish Did not order

I sent in a post card for a free sample, the post card was sent to me with many others for different things. I sent it in to receive the FREE SAMPLE. I was not impressed so I didn't order. But it seems... that didn't matter. THEY decided to send me a tube of the cream on their own along with an invoice for $19.94. I have now received 2 of these invoices and I do not intend on paying it. Save your postage - I will not change my mind.

Sincerely,
Linda Britton.

I received a bill today, 5-24-o8, for painVanish. I did not order it and I did not receive it. I am not familiar with it. I do not want to pay the $19.94. How do I get out of it? Their phone number is automated and does not go through to a person at anytime. I guess that I should call it again and press the number for not wanting to receive or get billed for any additional month, or whatever length of time.

Thank you.
Chris.

About 9 months ago my husband received a "free" sample of PainVanish. Thirty days later we started receiving bills for the product. We basically ignored them, figuring they were just trying to see if we would pay for the product. We are now receiving bills from collection agencies. A free sample was frequested, no other product was ordered or received.

I recieved a reminder for a bill for $19.94. I never got the free sample of painvanish. Why are you sending me a bill for a free sample? I never got the free sample. I don't want the free sample now. So I feel that I shouldn't be paying for something that I didn't ordered.

I responded to a post card advertisement for a"free sample". Now I am receiving bills for the product $14.99 monthly. This is unlawful. Someone in truth in advertising or a governmental agency needs to address this company.

I received an order for a bottle of PainVanish I did not order. I did ask for a sample. Now I have a bill for $21.33 because I sent back the original bill saying to cancel. When I called the number to say I wasn't paying for something I did not order, all I could not reach a live person.

I, too, ordered a sample and was billed $19.94. I paid the money thinking I had read the ad wrong. Now I understand they will send another order in July for $29.00 ( I guess it has gone up). I tried to call the company, I was told I needed an account #. Well, guess what, I don't have an account #! I will try to reach the company on line before July. If I cannot, I will not pay for the next order! By the way, the 1-800 # is all automated!

I also requested a "free" sample and have received the small tube of cream and bills for the protect I did not order. This was billed as a free sample, but I am getting bills. I am returning this to them, but they give no address to send it and you are made to call customer service who tries to push you to buy. What a come on.

PainVanish Scam and cheating

I received an offer for a free no obligation sample of a cream called painvanish in the mail. I did receive the "free gift". Tried it once out of curiosity, it did nothing. Several days later I received another larger tube of the same stuff and a bill for $19.94. I did not ever order this stuff, so I did not pay them. Now almost a year later I am getting nasty notes telling me to pay or else, from a bill collector agency called RMCB out of New York, and they give a license # for the state I live in. I have been unable to confirm their license # with my state so far. If you too have had the same experience, I have a suggestion. Call painvanish at [protected]. It is difficult (of course) to actually speak to anyone there, but here's how: press the option to change your date of getting your shipments, and then hit the option of speaking to a service rep. I then explained the situation to her and told her the truth that I am contacting my state of commerce, she promptly canceled my bill. Hope we can pass this info on to other good honest people.

This company sent me a card to sent back with offer of a free sample of their pain medication. I also received from them a bill for 19.94. I didn't like their sample let alone pay for something i didn't order... I have wrote their company and hope they get the message that I will not be scammed by any company. I wonder how much money they are making off all the seniors who fell for this scam... I let them know I would contact the attorney general of Minnesota.

Approximately 6 weeks ago, I received a small package in the mail, which I thought to be "junk mail". It contained a "free" sample of Pain Vanish cream, which I did not order or have any use for. I tossed it and forgot all about it. I received a bill from this bogus company demanding $19.94 for "my order."

Will somebody please investigate these ripoff artists and let me know what happens. I would love to know that they are stopped before they bilk unsuspecting people out of their money.

I got a sample offer FREE, Used it with no relief. Then I was sent a box that showed Free gift inside. It was a 2oz tube of the product that I didn't order yet they sent a past due bill for $19.94. I haven't used it and if they will send me $25.00 for my time and postage to return it, I will return it. These idiots evidently don't know that unordered anything need not be paid for nor returned. Similar thing happened to me, I did try the sample, did not work. Recieved a larger container, which I did not order, and later recievd a bill for 19.95. Who are these people? Apparently they will continue sending their product as long as you pay for it! My daughter is an attorney and I plan to have her look into this, and request all documentation they have on me and my "order". I find it impossible to reach these people, but I will not give up. From their website, there is no way to contact them. This whole operation smells of rip off!

PainVanish received something I didn't order

I apparently requested a free sample of PainVanish cream (although I do not recall doing so) Yesterday I received the cream along with a bill for $19.94. The invoice also informed me I would be receiving products on a regular basis. I do not want anything sent to me on a regular basis. Is it my responsibility to return this product and pay the postage on something I did not order? Thank you.

PainVanish Free sample arrived with $19.94 invoice!

We returned a postage paid response card for a FREE sample of "Cooling Relief Patch" late July 2007. The product claimed to have recommendations from several doctors. In August, we received a "Welcome Pack" which included the free sample along with a 2-oz tue of PainVanish pain relieving cream at the special introductory price of $14.99 + S/H $4.94 =$19.94 amount due. I took the entire package up to the post office since future deliveries were begin in approximately 4 weeks. They recommended that we contact the company for an explanation. The toll-free [protected] is simply an automated answering machine with return instructions to Pain Vanish Returns, PO Box 34369, Lancaster, SC 29722. We were never able to get a live person on the phone. On September 1, we returned the entire package through the USPS Return Receipt for Merchandise requiring a return receipt card. According to our local post office, the package was presented to the Lancaster, SC post office no later than 9/5/07. To date, we have never received our return signature card acknowledging their receipt of this package. When we called that post office at [protected], we were told Pain Vanish is part of Silkies, Division of US Textiles. All the return packages are dumped into bins for the company. The return packages requiring signature receipts are separated for a company representative. The Lancaster SC post office is supposed to call us back the first part of the week. Apparently our article number is so old that it has been archived. However, we have received past due reminder notices, collection letters and now a threat of lawsuit. This is a scam that we hope no one else has to suffer through. We have turn our plight over to the US Postal Inspection Services for investigation.

I don't know what this product is nor we haven't received a starter kit. They say that our account number is [protected]-9
and we owe $19.94 for the started kit that was shipped on 12-3-07. Their phone number is [protected] although we couldn't talk to anyone when we called. We are in Florida vacationing for the winter although our family are checking the house while we're gone. I have no intention of paying this bill as I believe it to be a scam.

My mother is 83 years old and suffers from heart disease, spinal stenosis, and dimentia. Sometime during this past year she evidently received a free sample of some product from Pain Vanish because she now is receiving bills for $19.94. Not only does she have no knowledge of receiving this product, but it is highly unlikely that she even placed an order. Additionally, the bill indicates that the product was shipped from pain management on 11/26/07 to an address where she hasn't resided in quite some time. I would appreciate any assistance you may provide in disposing of this charge and addressing the fraudulent business tactics of this company. Thank you.

I do not want to have to return it.

Sent in for a free sample of pain relieving cream. Then they claim they sent a "Welcome Pack", which I never saw and strictly no obligation. Now they want payment of $19.94 for nothing. Tried calling but everything is automated and keeps passing you around and you can leave no message. Also, their website doesn't give you any place to complain or get hold of customer service. I did not receive this although I did send back a coupon for a free sample. Now I am being billed and told they will send further products on a regular basis. This is what I did, I sent a letter to Mary Campbell, Custoner Service PO Box 70101 Philadelpia PA. I sent the bill with this statement, "I did not order or receive this product, further deliveries of this product to me will be considered a gift" I dont know if this will take care of this bill but they arent getting any money from me. Some time ago I received a free, very small sample of this product through the mail. I did not ask for this sample.

Subsequently, I received a larger tube of the stuff, which I did not order and did not authorize anyone else to order. The company has now turned me over to a credit bureau to collect $19 and some few cents. I'm sure by the time they get through adding their late charges etc., the bill will come up to several hundred dollars. I didn't order it and I'm not paying for it.

They solicited free samples and then sent tube of product with invoice for $19.94. When a free sample is advertised that should be the only thing that is sent. Full size product was not solicited nor was it wanted at this time! When I got a second notice I went ahead and paid for the first tube then the unscrupulous devils sent me a second and larger tube. I do not intend to pay for a second tube and if they want it back they will need to send a prepaid UPS label!

PainVanish Unwanted sample with invoice!

I too received an unsolicited 2 oz. tube of Pain Vanish with an invoice for 19.94, apparently half off. Rather pricy and I know I didn't order this. The invoice says you can request a postage paid envelope. By law I could keep it, since I didn't order it, but I don't want to deal with them sending me more products and have to go through the hassle of straightening it all out. It does make me mad tho, and if I actually get through to a real person, I plan to tell them this.

In April I recieved their 4/7 shipment of a much larger tube of Painvanish which I did not order. Trashed this product long ago. Have recieved eight billing notices stating "negative consequences" to my credit status. Do not intend to pay $19.94 for something they sent without approval from me. My Dad was scammed by this in July 2008 and I see all the other complaints on this PainVanish cream so we are not going to pay for this product that he did not order. I received a free sample card in the mail. In return I received a 2 oz tube in the mail. Now I am receiving a bill
for $19.94. I was under the understanding the 2 oz. tube was the free sample. I would never pay $19.94 for so small
amount. I have used this twice. Do You want it returned? It really does not work that well. I do not appreciate
having to pay for something I did not order and then being told I am past due. I had rather return it. If you have
any further questions please write me back.
Thank You
Margarete Lynes

6/3/2008 They're still at the same game. I ordered "free" samples and am now being billed for a 2.oz tube which I never received (or wanted). Phone calls are a waste of time since you can never talk to a person.

I agree with the other posts that this is a SCAM and should be stopped.

Pain Vanish...yep, but it is not the pain that vanishes...it is THEM! This company has terrible customer service...it is impossible to speak to someone and their 'email us' feature on their websdite, does not work! And you TRY to find their email address to email them from your own email...we can't do it! My husband made a call and was able to leave our address for a return label, but there was no confirmation of any kind, so he dosn't know if it actually went through or not. We are reporting them to BBB, Attorney General of our state and the FTC. Wonder if it will do any good. Think of all the folks who automatically pay a statement without scrutinizing it...I guess that's what they count on...Good luck to y'all, in your endeavors!

I ordered stockings for May, 2008 and they have not been delivered. I asked that they send only
nude, and a few off black --size-queen

I sent in for the free samples, but I never ordered any. Now I am getting the 2oz. and a bill for $19.94 that I did not agree on. I am
not satisfy with the way your company has tried to push your product on me.

Thanks,
Linda Samples

I too fell for the scam as did millions of others, BUT! I did not pay for it and I will not! I wrote them that I did not order it and I will not pay to ship it back, also any further billing will be considered harassment! So far? I haven't heard back :) If I do I'll just not open it and drop it in a mailbox stating "Not at this Address" File a complaint with your local BBB and State Attorney General, everybody must do this to stop these idiots!

It's funny that the phone number you gave is different than the one on my bill. Why would they need to keep changing their number? THIS IS A SCAM. ... and i'm going to fight it all the way to the end. People like this need to be stopped!

Customer service number for Pain Vanish is on the back of the so called bill [protected] otion 3

They state that there will be a long wait, and mabey youd'e like to call back on another day... I made a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission, so should you! This companyHCI inc. Direct also sell nylon stockings... Silkies... and does the same scam. As some of these letters that look like bills show, they may somtimes use threats to encourage folks to pay the bill even though they never bought the product. The girl I got to speak with said that there was a letter that came with the sample stateing what if I wished to buy the product I could exc. of course I threw it away... without reading it all the way through where it said if I didn't cancel then I would be billed... I don't think she said that it stated it that way either, just a lot of obtuse crap about if I didn't want to buy it I was liable exc... Whatever, it's a scam because if't a wast of precious time... and if you don't cancel it... it would affect your credit score...
