BEWARE! It looks to me as if this company scams people. I called them for help in June of 2020, we agreed to a service, the sales representative. told me that the cost for treating my basement and foundation would be at 10% SIMPLE interest (actually he said it was a FLAT interest rate) for a total cost of $20,000, he said if I included the crawl space in my attic that would be an additional 7,000 to 8,000 dollars. I told him no, that I could not afford that additional charge and that we would just go with the basement and foundation. He had me sign electronically, a tablet for the contract. I was NEVER offered a copy of what I signed at that time or in subsequent years until 2023. They did the work and went on their way. I started receiving statements, each statement included only the amount billed, the amount paid, a breakdown of the payment, interest and principal and the total amount paid to date. NO WHERE on the invoice was there a total amount due. I was watching the bills and striving towards the total amount paid of $20,000. Fast forward to November of 2023, I received a statement with a payment due that was less than the previous amounts due, and the total amount paid was $19,585.80. I sent in the payment due and marked it PAID IN FULL. Then in December, on the 22nd, 2023, I received a bill with a balance due of $7,740.68 (not a pay-off) WTH? I was supposed to be paid in full at $20,000? I called RAC, the company who did the financing and spoke with a young woman who answered the phone . She apologized to me said that she sees this sort of thing often. Now this is what I find interesting, according to what she said during our conversation, the interest rate was NOT SET until the sales rep. took the paperwork back to the office where credit was checked, and the financing contract completed. So essentially it looks to me as if the company is committing FRAUD. You are getting customers signatures and then changing the terms of the contracts to suit your whims. I never received a copy of the contract until Dec of 2023. The copy of the contract that was sent by the company's representative, by her own acknowledgement, this is not what I signed, this is just your company taking my electronic signature and putting it on a document that your company designed after the fact. The young woman told me she has seen this a lot, well if that is the case, this is illegal. No wonder you have unhappy customers. Also I was asked that I not do anything until I was contacted by her manager and or the manager of the Chattanooga office.

The local manager came out and viewed the work done, and even commented that there was WATER standing in my basement. There was nothing done in my basement other than the removal of boxes of collectable items that I had stored before the work was done in June of 2020. When I called and spoke with corporate headquarters, in January of 2024, I spoke with a woman who claimed to be a supervisor who told me that the regional manager would be in touch with me. She also stated that the local manger said that he never saw water in my basement, that it must have happened during the cold spell we had. I have pictures of the basement from the date he came to my home. (before the cold spell) That proves that everyone except for the young lady who answered the phone when I called on Dec 22, are LIARS. I am still waiting for a call. I do not owe anything else and I want this matter cleared up without any adverse actions to my credit rating.

Please note the water in the 1st picture of my basement, this is your "Dri Zone" that I was billed almost $30,000 for when I paid a total of $20,000 which was all I was told it would be! Also please note the bills I received never showed a total amount due, only the amount paid!

Claimed loss: $50,000 for missing items and stress.

Desired outcome: A response from the corporate headquarters, a change to the practice of using electronic signatures on documents that the customer does not actually sign for and for the bill to be marked paid in full without impact on my credit rating.
