So, I ordered some led taillights from OPT7. I was looking for the dually style, but they didn't have that option. So, I ordered a second set, making sure I had the right part number, but it was still wrong. I tried calling them, but couldn't get anyone on the phone. After two months, they still couldn't give me the right part number and just said they couldn't fit my truck with taillights. I checked their site and my truck was listed as available, but they didn't give me any explanation. They just left me hanging after wasting my time for two months.

This website, OPT7, looks pretty nice and fancy, but don't let that fool you. I've bought a bunch of stuff from them in a short amount of time, and every single thing I got was a total dud. I'm talking two HID kits and two HID fog light kits, all of which failed on me. The ballasts would just stop working after a few weeks, leaving me in the dark. And the only way to get in touch with these guys is by email, which takes forever for them to answer. When I finally managed to return my stuff, they never even gave me my money back. So, yeah, I'd say stay away from this site if you don't want to waste your time and money.

Got me some bulbs for my 2014 VW Jetta from OPT7, thought they were made for my ride but turns out they ain't. Needed some special bracket or mod to get them in, and the wires were way too long. Tried to get some help from their customer support but it was a no-go, they wouldn't take the bulbs back 'cause I was outside the return window. I mean, I did order 'em back in July and they just sat on my shelf 'til January when I finally had time to try and install 'em. Lesson learned, I reckon. Next time I'll go for some plug and play bulbs, there's a few out there that are the same price and less of a hassle.

They only offered a discount on another product, which I was not interested in, or a courtesy replacement if I could provide a police report or a lost/stolen letter from the carrier. But then, when I provided them with a copy of my invoice, they changed their tune. They told me that they wouldn't be able to send me a replacement part because the kit was ordered through Warehouse Deals, Inc. and not OPT-7. I was pretty disappointed to hear this because I had ordered the light from Amazon, Warehouse Deals, NIB with a 2-year warranty. I thought that OPT7 would stand behind their product no matter who sold it.

When I finally got in touch with customer service, I spoke with Salvador Gonzalez. I explained the situation to him and he was very patient and understanding. He reviewed my order and confirmed that I had received two H11 kits instead of the 9005 Fluxbeam X Kit that I had ordered. Salvador suggested that it might be a miss-packaged kit and asked me to confirm the contents of the box. I confirmed that it was indeed an H11 kit and that it didn't fit my truck.

Salvador then submitted a return replacement kit request for me and assured me that I would receive the correct kit as soon as possible. However, I was disappointed to learn that I would have to wait until I returned the wrong kit before receiving the correct one. Removing the bumper and grille to get at my headlights was very difficult and time-consuming, so I was frustrated that I would have to wait another week and a half because of Opt-7's mistake.

Despite my frustration, Salvador was very professional and understanding. He apologized for the inconvenience and explained that it was company policy to receive the wrong kit before sending out the correct one. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism, but I couldn't help feeling frustrated with the situation.

I recently purchased my second set of lights from this company, but unfortunately, I've had some issues this time around. The first set I received was dead on arrival due to a non-working control module. I tried the second set and they worked great for about a month, but then they stopped working. When I investigated the issue, I found that a control box was the problem. I filed a warranty claim, but it was denied due to alleged improper installation. However, this was not the case, as I had replaced the fuse with a 10-amp as they recommend. Unfortunately, they did not bother to ask me about this, before denying me the warranty coverage. While they recommend using a 10-amp fuse, it is not a requirement. Also, the supplied cigarette adapter would require a 20-amp fuse, which seems odd. I believe that the company should stand behind their product, and not look for ways to deny warranty claims.
