Today I stopped into your Stroudsburg PA location to look for a cardigan. I do not frequent your store. I was greeted by a nice young lady who offered me a credit card. I politely said no thank you because I don't want another credit card like many other people today. I understand sales quotas because I too am in sales. I continued through the store came across the same nice young lady and her manager was being not so nice to her and another co worker, stating if they don't get credit cards they will be written up. The girl explained she was trying and I know in fact she was by wisdom she asked me. I am a supervisor there is a time and a place to talk to your employees it was very unprofessional of this manager to do it on the sales floor. It turned me against shopping today and probably in the future. These employees are trying and should not be written up for at least trying. I thought maybe Corp should know how this makes customers feel when they hear this while shopping. Nobody should be disrespected like that regardless of their job title. This manager needs to be coached on how and where to speak to her employees.
Thank you. I hope you listen to a customer a do something about this
In my opinion there should be a meeting either before or after hours with employees. If employees are trying to get credit cards and asking that is all they can do customers don’t always want one. Stop pushing stuff on these poor employees that get paid minimum wage
