On October 12, 2023 I contacted NTTA [protected] and spoke with a customer service representative by the name of Bertha. Bertha did not give me an employee id number. I called to question a zipcash collection notice from Valor. The call was going fine until I kept explaining to Bertha why I was calling. I had given her the license plate number associated with the invoice I received. I also stated to Bertha that i received a TxTag invoice as well and was told the charges for the license plate HNV4709 was for a Camry and not the Expedition. Bertha advised me that that TxTag is another agency in wich I was telling her that to let her know the plates and vehicle did not match. Bertha also abruptly said to me hold on give me time to look at the image. She said since it was a old date it takes some time for the images to pull up. I waited patiently until Bertha was able to tell me the image was from my expedition. I said ok and asked more questions and was told by Bertha that I could see the same thing she is looking at if i go to the website. I found offense to that because how do she know I have internet access. I was also told by Bertha that she has been working for NTTA for over 20yrs and she research well all because I asked her what was her name. I was calling to get facts and take notes after i had been told my tags from a different agency was for a camry and not the expedition. I had no idea that calling NTTA to fact find would lead to being boisterously told about Bertha’s experience and time on the job. I am retired from AT&T and worked in Business Customer Service, I was not allowed to handle my customers that way it lacks integrity. Bertha also told me there where other amounts but failed to disclose how many. She mentioned $115.38 but did not say how the total derived. I left the call without answers to why I called. I am writing this complaint because in my opinion Bertha did not do her job and basically told me to go look it up myself. I find that ironic because if everyone look up their own issues & problems she would be out of a job. She was unprofessional in my opinion and left me with more questions than I had before I called the NTTA. Please pull the call log if possible and listen to the call. Desired outcome: Provide and resolve questions Seamless, and professional phone etiquette while talking to concerned customers trying to resolve problems.
