Frustrating Experience with Noon.com: Samsung S10 E Purchase Locked with Third-Party Companies
I recently purchased a Samsung S10 E from Noon.com with the help of a friend in the UAE. Unfortunately, upon receiving the phone and attempting to set it up as normal, I discovered that it was locked with some third-party companies. The service support team only offered apologies and no action has been taken in the six days since then.
To make matters worse, I have since moved to Oman and the support team has told me that they cannot do anything until the phone is back in the UAE. As you can imagine, I am incredibly upset that I have spent so much money on a phone that is essentially useless to me at the moment.
To add to my frustration, it has now been 12 days since I raised my complaint and it still has not been resolved. The delayed responses are both inconvenient and disappointing, and it makes me wonder how I can trust Noon.com and their products in the future.
The support I have received thus far has been subpar and has left me feeling completely unsure of what to do next. It is incredibly disappointing to be unable to use an expensive piece of technology, and the lack of support from Noon.com has only added to my confusion and frustration.
They finally agreed to take the phone back for a refund on the 15th of February and assured me it would be returned within two days. However, it has now been four days and I received a new update stating that they will call within 48 hours. It is incredibly frustrating to be an unlucky end user who has not been able to use the phone since I purchased it, and now I have to follow up every day just to get my money back.
I urge others to beware of dealing with people like this, as they will not only waste your time, but also your hard-earned money.
Unpleasant experience with Noon: wrong item delivered, out of stock item, faulty machine, and unsatisfactory customer service
My experience with Noon (noon.com) was unfortunately quite unpleasant. Let me begin with the fact that I had ordered a refrigerator, only to find out upon delivery that it was the wrong one. When I notified the delivery personnel that this was not the fridge I had ordered, they simply shrugged and told me to contact customer service. It took me four frustrating days to receive the correct appliance.
As if that wasn't bad enough, I had also ordered a cooker which was inexplicably out of stock on the day of delivery. This was particularly frustrating, because I had signed up for the item while it was still available and it had somehow disappeared from their inventory by the time it was supposed to be delivered. It took another five days for them to finally deliver the cooker.
To make matters worse, I had ordered a washing/dryer machine which turned out to have several issues. I had to spend considerable time with a technician trying to get it operational, only to eventually realize that it was faulty. When I contacted Customer Service, they assured me that the Warrantee Department would be able to collect the faulty machine within 48 hours and they would refund the payment. It has now been ten days, and I still haven't received any response from the company. Every time I call their Customer Service, they don't seem to have any information about my issue, and all they seem to be able to say is that someone will contact me in 48 hours.
The level of unprofessionalism and irresponsibility demonstrated by Noon is unacceptable. It's certainly disheartening to see that a company of this size doesn't seem to care about their clients or their complaints, and they seem to be causing even more frustration and dissatisfaction. Needless to say, I won't be using their services again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.
