I, along with many, many others, are utterly at a loss for words for Nike's unacceptable, pathetic, anti-American & foolish decision to cancel the production and sale of this shoe. This is a complete joke that a company that has/had millions of customers would listen to one individual who ruined his own reputation by doing such an unamerican & unpatriotic move in such a public way that you "Nike" is standing beside such a piece of garbage and bowing down to "his beliefs". Well Nike, what about sticking to doing what you were initially planning on doing? You "Nike" followed the advice of a man whose business model is to stir grievance and controversy for its own sake. Suddenly, millions of people who once thought the Betsy Ross flag was just an admirable bit of Americana now associate it with hate groups. But guess what Nike? The Betsy Ross flag, "it doesn't appear on the Anti-Defamation League's list of 179 hate symbols. "It's not a hate symbol, " the Anti-Defamation League's director of investigative research Mark Pitcavage told the Washington Post.

You have lost another lifetime purchaser of all Nike products, unless you get your heads out of you rear ends. I'm sure your company is just going to disregard this complaint, along with all of the others you've received because you don't believe it will impact your company. You may want to begin to think twice about your future business decisions and whom you listen to to persuade you before you react.

I am SO disappointed in your decision to pull Betsy Ross flag.
SHAME ON YOU. It is disgusting to me that your company would bow to a few extremists and let them steal this flag for un-American political purposes. Sure either way you will offend many people. Too bad you chose to offend the people that love this country, and probably have more funds available to buy your products. Oh which reminds me, I won't be wearing anymore Nike gear. I have been turned off since the decision to use Kaepernick anyway, but this is truly the last straw. How, of all the admirable and worthy athletes in this country, could you decide to choose this whining anti-American millionaire is beyond astounding.

Your company should be ashamed of them selves listing to a Anti American so called football player and pulled you 4th of July sneakers. He is ANTI-AMERICAN and against everything our Country was founded on. My family, relatives, friends and their family and friends Will Not Purchase Any Of Your Products You Are Anti-American and should be ashamed of your selves.

I have been a customer along with my 4 children I must spend several thousand dollars on Nike logo items. But this time you have gone to far in your perception of Political Corrections and history revisionism. I have as of today returned $1, 500 of recently purchase Nike shoes and other athletic items to my local sporting goods store in Ohio. I will never again purchase any of your product and will let my several social networks know of my disgust with your shallow behavior. It is time to stand up for America the society that has made you the company you are. We can't change history but we need to learn from it and never repeat it. Betsy Ross was a great American and helped create the greatest democracy you have an opportunity to thrive in.

I hope the silent majority like me wake up and get common sense back into decisions and quit creating racism when we have made so muck positive progress.

I have been a loyal customer of Nike for the past 30 years but no longer. My husband and I will not be purchasing any more products by Nike for the sole reason of Nike removing the Betsy Ross shoes as a product. Nike needs to stay out of politics and if anything, salute and support America and the American flag. So disappointed in this company and shocked that management has allowed this to happen. The swoosh is meaningless to me.

As a veteran, I am super offended by Nike's Choices and there Political views. I will not support NIKE or any of its subsidiaries. Please move your company to another country where you can offend those who at one time put our lives on the line for this country.

Nike and Jordan brands, our wholly-owned subsidiaries include Cole Haan (luxury shoes, handbags, accessories and coats); Converse (athletic and lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories); Hurley (action sports and youth lifestyle footwear, apparel and accessories); Nike Golf, and Umbro (a leading U.K. based football/soccer brand).

I used to love Nike. Now, I'm disgusted by the company. I'm hosting a Nike clothes burning party. I'll never buy Nike again and encourage others to do the same. Nike has lost its way and in doing so, Nike has disrespected the American people, our heritage and our bond. Nike promotes the opposite of unity and Nike's lack of regard for the American flag 🇺🇸 has disappointed and disgusted me. #NikeSUCKS

How can a corporation such as yours cower to an anti-American who throws a football for multi-millions of dollars which he could never do in another country...is beyond belief. My family and friends I have spoken to will NEVER buy ANY product of yours again. And...no we will not forget as time passes and be a customer. You should both leave this country never to return again.

I am very disappointed to hear you are pulling the patriotic Betsy Ross shoe. I will go out of my way to be sure I do not purchase a Nike product in the future. The Betsy Ross flag is a symbol of unification. Stop bashing America Nike. Stop catering to the leftists who seem to be intent upon dividing America.

How about lifting us up and focusing on uniting us all in goodness. That would be something good and positive rather than selling division and destruction.

I am appalled you will cave to a small sample of our Republic who express possible offense, rather than recognize what our Flag and National symbols reflect. Shame on your corporate leaders for not honoring our American heritage, which is filled with far more good than bad. If one applies and follows this logic of yours, virtually nothing in our historical symbols and founding documents can be used or allowed to be incorporated for any positive purpose. RIDICULOUS! I and my family have been a long time purchaser of NIKE products. that will no longer be the case until you issue an apology and reissue these or a similar show reflecting love and respect for all the very positive achievements and history of America.

I would like to buy the Air Max 1 USA shoe, and will not purchase another Nike product until it is released.

Below is a respectful conversation I had with a Nike employee. Unfortunately he could not even tell me who I could voice my displeasure to.

I would think Nike would desire to hear from their customers, and I find the fact that they think Americans would find our flag disrespectful astounding!

As an honorably discharged veteran of the United States army and a police officer I find your stance on the Betsy Ross flag extremely un-patriotic. I also believe your cowing to Kaepernick to be nothing but cowardice and political correctness run rampant. As a parent of a teenage boy who loves your products it is disheartening to have to tell him no, but until your policies toward the rest of the country change your products will not be allowed in my home.

There is something fundamentally wrong with the NIKE owner and his company. How in the world would you remove the Betsy Ross flag over one unfounded complaint from an historically ignorant and politically stupid failing athlete such as Colin Kapernick? Kapernick is so [censored]ic he does not even know what the 13 stars represent. Did he graduate from college or just college football? If so, how many basket weaving courses did he take to pass his courses, if he graduated? Did he ever study American History? How many footballs hit him in the head? Why would you, Nike, stoop so low to an individual who is so utterly disrespectful and manipulated by a few political activists who hate America? I'm a 45 year old Nike consumer customer I bought Nike shoes and gear over the years but due to your decision to appease Kevin Kaepernick I will no longer buy Nike products and I will be donating all my Nike products and gear to Goodwill Kevin Kaepernick ruined his career disrespected my country disrespected my Anthem and disrespected me a company like yourself that it's made lots of money off of Americans you should have thought about the whole America and not just one anti-American said he was kneeling for police brutality not as tell you to pull your Betsy Ross line and you agreed that makes Nike just as an American is he is in my eyes and some other eyes that I know I regret this decision because Nike fits me well guess I'll have to start trying out New Balance

I am highly offended that these shoes were pulled from the market. The only shoes my boys will wear are Nike's but they will be getting something different this school year. Those shoes are in honor of our country and, if that is offensive, it is terribly sad for any American to feel that way. I am disappointed that one person's opinion could take away the patriotism of Nike.

I cannot begin to express the disappointment I feel in your company for the decision to pull the Betsy Ross Flag shoes. Even though it was hard to let it go when you began your business dealings with that low life Kaepernick but my love for your shoes overrode that. I have only bought Nike shoes for myself for 35 years and it most always was Nike's for my three kids. However, from this day and until you drop that low life trader I will go barefoot before I buy your shoes again.

As a Nike customer for many years, I will NEVER AGAIN but any Nike products due to your decision to withdraw production of the Betsy Ross Nike shoes. Your decision to do this is blatant disrespect for our nation's flag. Generations of brave soldiers in all branches of the military have fought and died for for our freedom to fly OUR BELOVED AMERICAN FLAG! I, along with many others who served our country find this action by you to be sickening and appalling! SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY FOR DOING THIS!

For a company that is supposed to stand for America through sports apparel and college apparel it is disgusting to think that one individual who refuses to stand for the flag can exert such influence over your products. I refuse to buy any more Nike products or stock. I hope you go bankrupt. This gives me no option to buy a shoe with an American flag because it has basically been censored. If America is so repugnant then he should move to another country.
