Krystal International Vacation Club [KIVC] review: Not a good investment

We absolutely loved our week at Krystal Cancun. So much so we bought into the timeshare. We also listed our week with GTS alllowing them the opportunity to offer selling our weeks if we gave the ok. I have never heard from GTS again so if you do buy in, certainly don’t buy this add on. We also paid $825 for “Eskape” which is supposed to offer deep discounts on vacation packages. I looked up options on there many times but was always able to find deals on “free” vacation booking sites at similar or lower prices. Never used that service once so again, if you buy in DONT add this extra. To use our week we do have to pay our “Maintenace fees”. The week is not all inclusive so you have to add that. I can book a week in similar accommodations right on the Krystal web site for about the same price. This could be because prices are discounted now due to less travel to the area, but it does make me feel the investment was a total loss. I paid in about $18000 total and basically got a week stay for that price and probably will not use my weeks I purchased. I am including a price that I got today for a weeklong stay all inclusive of $1810. To use my week and make it all inclusive would cost me $1926. So for this example I am actually paying them more due to met a member.
