When signing up for Newchip, the site and the accompanying promotional material seem like a great way to get involved in a tight-knit community of startup enthusiasts. However, when you actually join the program, you may quickly realize that the "Cohort family vibe" promised is only present in theory.

In practice, Newchip can leave a lot to be desired, especially when it comes to reliability. Meetings are often late, and communication with the team can be frustratingly inadequate. If you're expecting the kind of support and guidance that you were promised, you may be in for a surprise.
