I've been with NHCU for many years and I really like them. They have low fees and their customer service is amazing. I've needed their help multiple times, like fixing credit report mistakes and getting emergency loans. I've even bought 3 cars with them and the rates are great. The process is easy and fast. Recently, while trying to become debt-free, Segonya spent days helping me get a loan to pay off some high-interest credit cards. I didn't even have to go to the branch. They've helped me build good credit and I wouldn't trade their small bank/family feel and customer service for a big institution!

I've been a member of this credit union for about 15 years. I stuck with them when they moved from the midtown spot to the not-so-convenient Brookley Field location, but now I've had enough. They went ahead and closed the midtown spot indefinitely, which really hampers my access to my money. I called their customer service number and waited on hold for a good 20 minutes before finally getting through to a representative. I asked when they were planning to reopen, and you know what they said? They said they had no plans to reopen that location. Can you believe it? The other locations are only open by appointment. It's just ridiculous to have such limited access to my own money. Needless to say, I'm closing my accounts with them.

I sent a stimulus check to NHCU on 03/27 for deposit into our joint checking account. However, NHCU refused to deposit the check because it only had one signature. They said they require two signatures. I've never dealt with a bank that needed two signatures for deposit-only checks. It's been 8 days now, and NHCU still hasn't returned the check. I really need the funds, and I don't understand why this bank is being so unfair and discriminatory towards senior citizens.

According to 15 U.S.C *** Section 602 A, I have the right to my privacy. Additionally, Section 604 A Section 2 states that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instructions (15 ***. (a) (5)).

Furthermore, the following items of information should not be included in any consumer reporting, as stated in 15 U.S.C 168s-2 (A) (1):
- Any other adverse item of information, other than records of convictions of crimes which antedates the report by more than seven years.

Lastly, a person or entity should not provide any inaccurate information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if they know or have reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate.

The manager said she had access to help me and told me she wasn't going to help me with resolving my concern. And told me to call back. On 4/10 I made a transaction for $4.28 from my share 10 account to my share 11 account. The app sent $40.00 and put my account in overdraft status. I noticed it immediately and did a reversal charge of $29.52. I looked at my account the next day and see a charge for Courtesy pay and I called the member service to have this fixed. Nobody has helped me, I've been calling in for two days and today I finally spoke to the manager who was extremely rude and unhelpful. I left a detailed message on her voicemail and re-explained when she called back only for her to tell me that she doesn't know "what I want" and that I needed to tell her how much I was trying to send to share 11. I told her I was driving at the time and could do the math but if she subtracted the numbers on her calculator for me I could then tell her. She told me she wasn't going to do that and just kept repeating that "I need to tell her how much." I verified the amount sent with her to make sure she was looking at my account and she was very tuned in saying that she sees exactly what I'm referencing but she didn't have a calculator to pull up. And stated that she wasn't going to do the math to help. Again she said "I don't know what you want but I can tell you're getting upset so you can just call back." Y'all I almost lost my mind talking to this woman, each and every time I call this company I get horrible customer service and from the managers at that! Her tone was very condescending and I could definitely see she did not want to be of service to me. I ended the call with no resolution and my account is still wrongfully over-drafted. I will be getting paid tomorrow but I will incur another fee as I will be moving my money in addition to the $30 I was wrongfully charged to my share 11 account.
