Subpar experience at Netcare Mulbarton Trauma unit
I had a bad experience with Dr Dino Rech at Netcare Mulbarton. I was feeling very sick and my Dad took me to the trauma center at night. Dr Dino Rech didn't run any tests, didn't understand my problem, he was rude and even Nurse Maryann Sprong was Horrible!. He even googled my medication! I ended up going to a government hospital and was diagnosed with a stroke and infection. I warn others to avoid Netcare Mulbarton. The staff should be more humble and remember that everyone has problems.
Recommendation: "If you don't value your life, you may go to this Hospital"
Netcare Waterfall - the worst ER service
I am writing with a heavy heart whilst I am in so much pain and this is my second day at hospital. There is no emergency and the customer experience is the worst I have ever experienced. It took 4 to 5 hours to see a doc. I still can’t stand and on a wheelchair on second day. Yesterday it took 8 hours for nurses to administer painkiller drip. Second day I came at 1 for scan and it’s now 5 hrs no communication only to be told to push my wheelchair and go the file registration process again. I am short of words with Netcare waterfall. No care for humanity

Life-Changing Counseling Services at Netcare
I recently experienced the counseling services at Netcare, and it was truly life-changing. The licensed counselors and social workers provided a comprehensive assessment, tailored a personalized treatment plan, and used evidence-based interventions like CBT and MI. The support I received was invaluable, and I feel more empowered to navigate life's challenges. Highly recommend!
Disappointing experience at Dr P Sareli in Mulbarton
I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received from Dr P Sareli, Cardiologist at Netcare Mulbarton. Initially, I visited the hospital for a heart checkup in February. Despite paying a significant amount, the tests conducted failed to identify the issue, leading to a remote consultation that felt impersonal. The receptionists were unwelcoming, creating an atmosphere where I did not feel valued as a patient. In the end, I had to seek treatment elsewhere and was left feeling that my time and money had been wasted. I would not recommend this facility to anyone I know, as my experience was far below expectations for a private hospital.
Recommendation: I would not recommend this to anyone I know
Hey, it sounds like reaching out directly to Netcare’s patient services or management might be a good next step. Explain your experience clearly and how it didn’t meet your expectations, especially considering what you paid. If that doesn’t lead to a satisfactory response, consider posting a detailed review online or seeking advice from a healthcare ombudsman if available in your area. This could help ensure that future patients do not encounter the same issues.
Worst emergency dept - Netcare Alberton Hospital
Netcare Alberton Hospital's emergency dept is the absolute worst dept I have ever been to. I would rather go to a government facility than ever go to Netcare Alberton Hospital ever again. I arrived at 14:30 with a deep cut that had been bleeding for over an hour. Because it was not classified as an emergency, I spent over 5 hours at the hospital before being attended to by a doctor. The staff changed shifts at 19:00 and I was still waiting to be attended to. Had I not needed stitches, I would have left the hospital after the 3rd hour. And it was more than 2 hours to get treatment. Absolute worst service and I do not recommend anyone seeking serious medical attention to ever go to that hospital.

Netcare pholoso hospital
My husband was admitted to emergency Netcare Pholoso Hospital on 17 December 2023 after a cycling accident. He was disorientated and a bit incoherent so I asked the nursing staff to please ask the doctor dealing with him to phone me with an update as soon as he had seen him as I live in Johannesburg and was not able to get to Polokwane.
The attending doctor didn't bother to call me. The following day my husband was scheduled for surgery and as I was many kilometres away I again asked the doctor to please call and update me after the operation and the prognosis. Again no response to my request. After numerous calls to the staff in ICU who said they couldn't help and couldn't give me any information I was at my wit's end.
My husband said he was given a blanket to use to dry himself after washing as he had not yet been cleaned of blood or dirt after his accident, and was told that they didn't not have towels.
He had a very bad night that night after the operation and with the machines constantly blaring, he tried several times to call the nurses on duty to see why the machines were beeping and was then told that he should have called them because one of the tubes had come out.
He then asked to be discharged from ICU and the doctors threatened him as I had already called Netcare head office with these complaints. The doctor than only spoke to me and asked why I had complained and was extremely hostile even after I asked him to understand my concerns about being so far away. He was discharged after signing the disclaimer and given no medication to endure the trip to Johannesburg where he was immedicately the following morning admitted to Milpark ICU.
I would like to say that Milpark was a relief after the treatment and facilities experienced at Pholoso Hospital, which is a disgrace. Having to pay medical aid fees for a hospital that can in no way be construed as a private hospital doesn't make sense. The staff, doctors, facilities are absolutely disgusting, and this is not the first I have heard about complaints about this hospityal and its staff.
Desired outcome: Fix what is supposedly a private hospital and what we pay exhorbitant fees for. I would like feedback on what is being done about training doctors, nursing staff, etc.

The nurses are very rude and unprofessional
Since I come here the drip has not being working properly I inform them that the drip is not working and the nurse was saying eventime it's my drip not work what ist that am doing to the drip. I informed her am in pain because the drip is not working and am not getting medication from the drip. After that she has been giving me attitude and my hands a braced and she spilled the medication that I have to inhale, she doesn't come check if the drip is working evetime she just change the bottle of medication being full and put another one as if the medication is finished am not happy at all. I came here since 22 February 2024 until due date am at B1 ward A room 3 I just want to be discharged from this hospital.
Claimed loss: Am gonna pay for medication which I did not use. And how am I suppose to heal.
Desired outcome: I want this matter to be dealt with I won't pay for something which I did not have access or service to.

Service received at pinehaven
Today is the 24th of February the lady helping us to be admitted to the hospital was so damn rude. We told her the pre admission was done but the file was not pulling through. I asked can she pick it up with the id again a damn rude response just for us to sit and struggle and the more we say the App is giving errors the more she is doing her own thing...

We were in casualty for about 19 hours before being admitted due to the unsuccessful nature of finding a PICU bed for my 13mont old son who coughed blood. After about 14hours of being there they found a bed in Alberton and started with the transport arrangements. This all happened before the pediatrician decided to come and pay a visit and actually look at my son. She then came and assessed my son and decided he does not need an ICU.
She then failed to make notes and inform the pediatric ward that he should be nebulized, and I mentioned to her that my son was not nebulized since the Friday morning that was on Sunday. She noticed that she failed to write it in the script.
On Tuesday she wanted a cardiologist to see my son and wanted a CT scan which both my husband and I refused. She went over our heads I kept cool as I know she bullied my husband into saying yes.
The last straw was on Wednesday when I asked for a Refusal of treatment form and clearly told the Doctor I will take my child for a second opinion, and she first said she will get the form, when I walked out of the room to sign the paper she said to me in front of two nurses that she phoned Child protective services and I will not get a form. I was upset and said to her that I she can't do that as I have an appointment at another doctor. She said my child can't leave.
After a whole thing when we got the hospital management involved and asked them, they said she did not phone them, but they will transfer my son on their cost to Krugersdorp private hospital.
No one can give me answers as to why I was threatened by this doctor.
No one can explain why she gave us 4 different diagnoses.

Desired outcome: I want answers as to why she lied and threatend me

Trauma ward section 6
My husband was admitted in Alberton Netcare ICU last month from 24th of November 2023 for two weeks the service was excellent he was shot multiple times so he had injury to his stomach so he has a ostomy and both his legs are broken so he was admitted to the trauma ward which is section 6 the nurses service there is very very poor first of all the first day he was admitted because he was placed in a room alone which made sense but the room from the first day was untidy we had to ask them to clean the room and also the tv did not work we also had to ask them to sort the tv out my husband says that he had to ring the bell 6 times before the nurse would come by that time his colostomy bag was full of poo which is not what is suppose to be he had to ask them to up his pain medication because the pains in his legs is unbearable he even said the one nurse told him to change the bag himself and he must wash himself and on top of that his left arm was fractured so explain to me why would a nurse that knows thats her job tell a patient that and this is suppose to be private care because we pay alot of money to have it
so he was discharged the 24th of Decemeber when he was discharged the nurse did not discuss with us how to care for his wounds and the stoma they did not even refer us to a wound nurse we had to figure everything out on our own and we are struggeling with the stome because now he has skin irritation and we have no clue what to do or what to get we not even sure if we cutting the bags the right size my husband is seeing the doctor only 11/01/2023 the nurses in that section do really needs to be reprimanded as i feel that they are lazy and couldent give a care
Desired outcome: We would like to know if we can get a wound care nurse at home and also for the stoma

Olivedale hospital
Hi
I'm writing this complaint on behalf of my wife (Mrs Yugandrie Ramsamy)
She was admitted into Olivedale hospital on the 21 June 2023 and to this day is still not well.
Initially she was admitted to the facility for bronchitis and then it went onto to other things. Dr Maluleke her treating physician is probably one of the worst doctors you to do work with. He is always in a hurry, never explains properly and all round not bothered about patients. When I tried to get information, he conntinued to always tell me that nothing was wrong with my wife. She was discharged on 21 July 2023 and then readmitted on 27 July 2023.
In August, she had to be resuscitated because she stopped breathing. This led to her going into ICU, from there she went into high care. In high care she slipped and fell, knocked her head. Her doctor didn't even do an MRI to see if the fall had caused any damage. The neurologist saw her and said all was good but my wife still needed a walker to move around and is always complaining about head aches.
She is now in a subacute centre being treated
Neonatal Intensive care
We have been in NICU for almost 2 months now and in the beginning the service, care and respect was absolutely phenomenal, but as time went by we continuously had to ask the same thing over and over, for example our boy's foot has swolen 2 times now because the night nurses tighten the saturation thing too tight, after 2 consecutive days of complaining it was resolved. Further more the chief or lady in charge at the NICU during the day, I am not sure what her name is but she's got short blonde hair is extremely extremely rude towards all and everyone working with her, we have witnessed multiple occasions of her treating fellow employee's disrespectful and she is loud, we also hear her cussing on certain occasions, we all have bad days but it seems as if everyday is a bad day for her. This is supposed to be a warm welcoming atmosphere as our children is sick or premature, we don't have the time nor the energy to come here and listen to fighting, It causes extra stress and uncomfortablility which is not necessary. Further more we have been confused multiple times regarding feeding as the nurses make up the feeding methods as we go, luckily our Dr which by the way is the best came and told them to keep to method we have been using which lead to a small argument. There is a few phenomenal nurses which we absolutely love and then there is nurses here which makes me question there ability to look after our child or doing there job properly. Please attend to rudeness from the chief or so, not towards us or the parents but most of the times it's towards her co workers and that puts us in a uncomfortable situation.
Regards
Desired outcome: Resolve this issue please
I received a call from your hospital (Doctor Iwooth if am not mistaken) on the 4th November 2023 to bring my child for admission and Doctor advised that they just received the medical results, which shows that the child needs to be treated.
We arrived at the hospital in the afternoon and the lady who was assisting us, insist that we take the child to the ward in the meantime they still busy with the admission process.
Few minutes later the Ward Nurse advised me to go back to the Emergency unit because medical aid is not approving the admission.
I went back to enquire what’s happening and the gentleman who was busy with the file explains that GEMS is not approving admission due to the code they are using. I then asked the guy if we can leave the hospital because I cannot pay hospital bills yet am paying my medical aid as well. The guy said no need to leave, they will sort it out with GEMS and the Doctor.
I refused to sign the documents/papers because I didn’t want to bide myself for something I cannot stand for (hospital bills).
On Monday (6th Nov 2023) I received an sms from GEMS that say “ Clinical information has been requested from treating provider. Awaiting information in order to assess request further”.
I then called GEMS to find out what’s happening and they said hospital is supposed to do follow up with them not me, and they gave me this Admission Ref NO.GEM29220660
I called the pre-admission and I spoke to the Case Manager by the name of Trandsha who said they will follow up with GEMS and I must call back IMAGINE !
I don’t understand why am I the one who must call back, this explains that someone is not doing her/his job and it’s not my fault that admission claim is still pending.
First it was a complaint I laid with Debra, that I brought my son on the night of 01st November 2023 and Casualty unit discharged him same night but Doctor Iwoorth called on the 04th claiming that she just received the medical results…WHAT A PATHETIC SERVICE EVER
Casualty visit @ netcare garden city hospital
02/10/2023
05h15 am I was seen in triage
My daughter had a constant fever of 37.5 Iwhuch started on Sunday at 9h30 am while we were at home, I monitored it and tried to get it under control I could not I kept on checking her temp throughout the night while I was home (as a mum coming to garden city with a child that has s fever of 37.5 the staff makes you feelas if you are dumb i hate the casualty in this hospitalso much) so I tried managing it with nurofen and panado... 4h00 am I checked again my 2 year Olds fever was at 38.5 I then decided I needed to bring her in (even when my daughter is sick she still talks and plays so peoplethink im over reacting, mind you i NEVER rush to dr or hospital unless i feel that there reallyis something wrong)
Arriving in casualty there was 1 lady in the waiting area, nurses in triage saw to us immediately and took my daughters vitals, temperature the normal stuff, I then opened a file and waited 30 minutes to be called in to where the Dr sees us (I was the only person waiting to be treated at the time I was waiting the other baby left 20 minutes prior to me being called) finally they called me a nurse took me to a bed in casualty where Dr Sepuyo came another 20 minutes later he checked her ears, and throat, listened to her chest and then told me it's tonsils, I must continue with the nurofen, I then asked him about the lesions on her mouth and body to which he responds its nothing just leave them, while writing a script for empapad ready to send me home. At this time I was already upset because this is the second time at this hospital a Dr is rushing to discharge my child from casualty when she is not well without a proper examination.
I asked him if he is not going to do bloods as the last time she also didn't look sick but her CRP levels were extremely high, he tells me it's not necessary to which I responded that I insist he does the blood test. He tells the nurse just do bloods for CRP and walks out of the room.
Bloods were done and my daughters CRP levels were 136 -the nurse comes to tell me that I was right and my daughter needs to be admitted, DR SEPUYO returns and says your daughters CRP levels are high they will need to do a blood culture and x-rays of her chest instructs the nurse and walks out in a hurry. (NO APOLOGY)
Shift change - DR SEPUYO was handing over to the next Dr and I hear him imitating me to the Dr saying in a squeaky voice **** the last time I brought my daughter in her CRP levels were high **** I ignored him and just waited for my daughter to be treated.
I was in casualty from 5h15 am and only taken to the ward at 11h30 am
My daughter was dripped 4 times in casualty as they couldn't get the line in, yet no medication was administered in casualty besides for a suppository.
I am extremely disappointed that we get treated this way, my daughter has a severe infection and DR SEPUYO was going to send me home telling me that it's tonsils, the lesions are nothing but if they get worse I must bring her back in 2 days, no medication was administered, I was not listened to and he made fun of me because I insisted on blood tests for my sick 2 year old daughter, he said that her fever is not even that high.
IS THIS THE TYPE OF SERVICE WE RECEIVE FROM A PRIVATE HOSPITAL?
ARE YOUR PATIENTS NOT IMPORTANT?
IF I FID NOT INSIST ON THE BLOOD TESTS AND MY DAUGHTER GOT WORSE AT HOME WAS NETCARE GOING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY?
I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH THE SERVICE IN THE CASUALTY AT NETCARE GARDEN CITY HOSPITAL!
Desired outcome: THIS DR NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED URGENTLY HE IS PUTTING OUR KIDS LIVES AT RISK BECAUSE HE IS INCOMPETENT AND IN A HURRY TO JUST MOVE ON TO THE NEXT PATIENT
Doctor's hospital ipad
The doctors in Millpark Hospital are constantly struggling to prescribe medication due to bad software and/or network problems in the hospital. It is wildly frustrating to them which negatively affects their patient interactions and quite honestly will influence whether they work here in future or not.
This has been relayed to me by 3 doctors in September 2023
Desired outcome: Please fix the problem. Software, Network or both as soon as possible
Emergency department alberton hospital
Last year I went to emergency department three times complaining about the same pain doctors will just give me prescription and send me, the fourth time I went with an ambulance that's wen they took me seriously. My appendix had ruptured and that was realized after being in hospital for week that is not the case.
I took my daughter to ED Alberton Hospital on Monday 11/09/23 she fainted at school, had fever, was coughing and had stomach ache. the doctor just touched her stomach and gave her multi vitamins, pain meds and cough mixture. never asked about her medical history, or use a stethoscope, check her ears and all, and discharged us. I insisted that they take my daughter's urine sample for testing since she has a history of her right renal pelvis being prominent. Tuesday her mouth was dry and dark(bluish/blackish) called a Paediatrician to check her. when he checks urine sample I insisted it must be taken he found an infection on the tests, he's awaiting the full report to know which antibiotics to give my daughter.
my point is we go to ED for though examination on a patient's case, we should have went to the GP but opted for ED because of the severity of the symptoms, I laid a complaint last year with the hospital but none happened. I want a refund on all the visit I did at ED because they never helped instead we would have died because of their miss diagnosis.
hope you will help
Desired outcome: Refund on all my visit at ED mine and my daughters because they didn't help us
General ward - care for the elderly
This complaint is about the fancy new tech Netcare in New Market Alberton which does not deliver up to the promises in lights displayed at your entrance.
The lack of attention to detail is dismissal. I visit my gran who is booked in for Pneumonia and has no teeth and is struggling to swallow. What do they give her to eat - solid foods.
Communication as to what the progress is can't be given by the nurses but you don't get to see the doctors either. You always having to follow up with the changing staff and don't get a clear answer.
Now that the antibiotics are finished we still don't get an insight as to what caused it, is it resolved.
The reason for my gran not being able to swallow could also be coming from a yellow and white buildup of something on her tongue - but that goes unchecked why?
Our expectation of just a high-tech hospital comes with dismissal customer experience that is so disheartening and depressing. We were met with nappies left on the visiting chairs and no feedback on issues given though the week. No idea if my grans tongue is being treated.
Desired outcome: Staff culture & patient treatment. Daily feedback for any patient via WhatsApp should be considered. Appalled by the lack of cleanliness in your hospital. Its basic requirement for any health care facility & shouldn't be compromised
Patirnt care
Christian Barnard Hospital... Your NIGHT DUTY nurses are not there to assist US mere patients, Just to laugh and shout across the wards ALL night... Let patient buzzers sound for lengthy periods without giving assistance, while they sit or stand in the CCU office, laughing and joking with each other, in whatever tounge they use.
If Prof Lorgat were not operating at your hospital, then I would refuse to enter your abysmal establishment. YOU/IT is far to big and has thus LOST the basic nursing standards of a truly worthwhile international hospital.
Your senior nursing staff need to seriously concentrate on standards of care, patient care, what they are paid for?, and their place within the organisation.
I will be escalating this complaint to the highest levels, as I am sure your are aware that, 'its not what you know, its WHO'. as I maintain that your establishment is SUB standard and your junior staff need to be monitored closely, as clearly they are under the illusion that us MERE patients are insignificant to there social and enjoyment standards.
I pray I NEVER have the misfortune of attending your premises' again.
Dr note
I was admitted on the 22nd June then got discharged on the 24 June, Dr promised to email me a Dr notes but unfortunately even now I didn't get in. This week on Tuesday I've phone his office and requested the letter from the receptionist, she told me I will get it on Thursday. Thursday morning I've phoned as well to remind her and I've told her at work they want that Dr note and I won't be paid if I don't send them it today because is a pay day. She promised to email it, it's Friday today no Dr note and I didn't get paid.
Desired outcome: I want netcare to contact my employer and fix this. I'm not happy with this poor service
Careless, rude night shift staff. Linksfield Netcare. Ward E. 4th floor. 21 July.
Good day, my Mom was admitted to Linksfield Netcare last week (18 to 22nd July). The behaviour of some of the night nurses is unacceptable. In particular the night nurse who did night shift (unfortunately we did not get her name), Friday, 21st July, Ware E, room 5, was very rough, intentionally careless, abrupt with my Mom. Amongst other things, at...

Netcare Mulbarton Hospital
To whom it may concern,
My Fiancé brought me to the hospital at 19:00pm on Wednesday 17th May 2023.
We entered the emergency area and asked a Nurse for assistance where we were told to go to the waiting area and we would be attended to, Because of the pain and because of me throwing up I was not able to sit so I laid on the benches in the waiting area.
Eventually at 20:15pm the nurse called us in to take blood pressure etc, I kept saying that I could not sit up because of the pain I was in and the Nurse continued to push me back into the chair and told me that I needed to sit up, I then processed to throw up because of the pain and what was wrong with me, I then had to rush to the toilet as I was not well and was getting dizzy.
When I came back to the waiting area I laid on the floor and that is where I was left, after numerous times asking if there was somewhere that I could lay down we were told there were no beds, so I continued to lie on the cold floor in the waiting area throwing up right in front of all the other patients that were in the waiting area.
We were only called in at about 22:00pm where I was given a bed and attended to, so all this time I was left lying on the floor. This is honestly not how patients should be treated in a private hospital.
The nurse asked questions which I responded to and then she proceeded to take blood which went for testing and put me on a drip, she never told me what medication she was giving me and she did not advise if there might be any side effects, we were then left in the emergency room, my Fiancé left the room for about 10 minutes and when he came back I told him that my vision had got extremely blurry which worried me because this is not normal, my Fiancé then went and asked the nurse why this is happening and she proceeded to say "oh it's because we gave you too much medication at once" I'm sorry but her response absolutely shocked me because here I am in a hospital and I am being told that I was given "too much" medication at once, this is so unprofessional as being in a hospital you expect that Nurses and Doctors know what they are doing and that they are not going to give you "too much" medication at once.
Eventually after the drip my pain came back, we had to wait for the doctor to come back and I told him that the pain was back, he then wanted me to go for a CT scan which is what I did.
At 01:00am on Thursday the 18th May 2023 I was still in the hospital, my results were back from the CT scan and we were waiting for the Doctor to come back to tell me if there was anything wrong. From there he provided me with a sick note and a script for medication. Just before 01:30 am the nurse then came in to remove my drip and to my surprise she did not put on any gloves when removing the drip from my arm, I find that this is again unprofessional as you are treating a patient and should always be wearing gloves.
The overall hygiene in the emergency room was horrific, I don't see how patients can be treated in rooms where the roof is full of Mold, and there is blood and dirt on the floor, this is a hospital and a private hospital where people expect cleanliness.
It is deeply concerning and upsetting at how I was treated at the hospital and the service that I received, I certainly hope that for the sake of future patients that the service and hygiene of the hospital improves.

Medical records
My son was born in Rustenburg Ferncrest Hospital (Netcare)
I urgently need any documents pertaining to his Birth because home affairs cannot find his Vault birth certificate. I made contact last year with Ferncrest Hospital requesting any of these documents. I have been pushed all over the place, no one is willing to help just lies. I have contacted the hospital spoken to everyone from records klerk (she deleted my mails without reading) when I asked her why she did that the reply was "I am very busy"
I then explained to her senior that ended leaving the Hospital and I was handed over to the head of the hospital, they blame it on Metro File, metro file say they need the correct information and they will find the documents. I then get told the hospital staff went to look for the documents and metrofile say no one has been.
The law states that records must be kept for 20 years, if and when they ate destroyed record must be kept of what and when the records are destroyed. I have been told by several Netcare hospitals that they never destroy the birth registry book so why are the Netcare staff not willing to help? I have contacted Netcare head office several times and it seems no one is willing to help why is this?
This is urgent
Please I need your help
Desired outcome: I just need proof of my son's birth for his British passport
Doctor
What a horrible, unprofessional and disrespectful treatment from Dr Kasongo Marie Josee Kasakanga (Paediatric Surgeon).
1. My son was booked for a procedure. She said we must come to the hospital at 10am. With no further details explaining when exactly we will go to theatre n when should be the cutoff time for feeding the baby.
2. We get there at 10am finished the admission process around 11:30am we sat in the ward. The nurse explains to us that the Dr booked theatre for 2pm. Mind you the baby (9months) last ate around 8am because we should be ready for theatre, ok it's fine we sit and wait for 2pm.
3. At 2pm the nurse tells us that the Dr called and she said she booked the theatre for 8pm now. I asked the sister that we call the Doctor because I am confused now. We called the Doctor n I ask what's really happening, she explained "I have booked theatre for 8pm, everyone is working now. Its not easy to get anesthesiologist. I am currently in Pretoria I will get there at 8pm"
4. I ask her, but Doctor you told us to get her at 10am to only go to theatre at 8pm, my baby has last ate at 8am this morning? She said "No you were suppose to feed the baby, the cut of time was 2:30pm.
My patients they usually come early to start with admissions"
5. We waited for 8pm, 8pm the Doctor is not here. The Doctor came in at 8:35pm. We asked the night stuff to discharge us, we had enough. We wasted the entire day sitting in the hospital ward. Mulbarton Hospital please intervene, such Doctor's Kasongo Marie Josee Kasakanga (Paediatric Surgeon) are messing up your reputation.
Hi,
Was this at Mulbarton Hospital?
I had a very similar experience which left my baby in ICU for a week with this Dr.
Rude receptionist
We went to the Linmed Hospital on the 04 May 2023 as my daughter was booked in as she was very ill, the receptionist was extremely rude to my mother in law as I was away, when I arrived back we went into the hospital and once again was met with the rude receptionist! I greeted her and she blatantly ignored me, she just said where are your documents and then when I asked her why she was rude she snapped back at me and proceeded to giggle and roll her eyes. I asked for management she went to the back and I could see them talking, the manager came out and asked me to come through to the back where I expressed my frustration of having a sick baby and how someone could be so rude, she just said she will send me documents where I can give my statement and the receptionist can give hers. Obviously nothing of that sort happened. How can a hospital have such a woman working at reception that is so rude to people who did not ask to be there and are either sick themselves or in my case a sick crying baby! I asked for a formal apology but nothing as yet. This needs to be resolvedas soon as possible no person should endure being spoken to and treated like that.
