In January National Holidays advertised a 8 day river cruise, [tour ref. no.7865B booking ref no.R318448 1] my wife and I had fancied a river cruise for a no. of years so decided to go for it. We paid the deposit and the balance on the due dates, and waited excitedly for the departure date which was 14 April 18. We met the bus at Wakefield which took us to Hull and onto the ferry and we landed at the euro port in Holland. No problems. We should have picked the boat up at Rotterdam but it wasn't there the driver rang round and was told it was at Amsterdam so we set of for Amsterdam when we got there we were told the boat wasn't ready for us so we had to walk around Amsterdam for a couple of hours. The following days every where we went was by coach, there was only two days we were on board when it sailed once for 12-5 hours and another for 7-5 a total of 20 hours. that is not a 8 day cruise. I paid total of £1308-00 I want my money and £500 compensation for loss of holiday.
