National Adjustment Bureau gap insurance

We had our GAP insurance with this company because the Dealer RED NISSAN on Colonial Drive in Orlando, recommended them, we trusted them. When my husband had the accident was total Lost and our Insurance GEICO did an awesome job and told us the GAP Insurance was asking them for more money to pay us. However; we did not pay attention trusting that everything will be ok. We started to get worry because the surplus of the money -the debt- was still in Ally the bank that lent us the money. My husband called them multiple times, and Ally said we are waiting for the payment from National Adjustment Bureu, GEICO Said we already paid, the rest is their responsibility, and the National Adjustment said yes we are waiting for your documents, My husband sent two fax two different numbers they gave him and they said they didn't receive it, then National Adjustment told my husband that he needed to send the documents by mail, and my husband did it, finally they received the papers and they told my husband they were processing the information. Waiting and waiting, my husband called them but still they were processing the documents. Yesterday, they said they didn't receive the papers and they don't have any recorded calls and it's more that 90 days and they are not going to pay. So, I wonder my husband was talking whom to, when he called them, do they have special people for lying to the customers? Because my husband talked to them multiple times.
How in the world they said they did not recorded the calls? They are a SCAM, they Are liars, they are stealing American People! My credit went down -64 points yesterday! It was over 700 I was during two years working hard to get there and because of them I need to start again. This kind of things should not be happen in UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, "WE ARE NOT A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY"; this country is big and powerful! How do we allow this kind of companies go around scamming Citizens of United States without any consequence?
How? how? I have been investigating and we are not the only ones, calling multiple times, having trouble with their fax number, going back and forth with the company begging for an answer, their customer service is mediocre, irresponsible, liars, negligent, rude... they NEVER called us trying to help us, NEVER, you can see they don't want to help the customer they just want to take advantage of us. Sadly, if they are allow to keep on going they will continue doing the same thing to a lot of people. I would like to see if they are going to answer to this, because at the end they DO NOT CARE!

National Adjustment Bureau gap claim payment

I had my GAP insurance for my car loan through this company, unfortunately my car was totaled back on April 2019. Since then I have been going back and forth with this company; both my car insurance company and myself have provided EVERY single piece of information they have requested and they have yet to pay out the balance remaining which is about $8K. I've called multiple times to request updates and they other put me on hold for a long period of time, transfer my call to voicemail, or basically just hung up on me. At this point I have reached out to a lawyer and we will be filling a lawsuit against this company. I have also contacted our local news and will be looking into this company as well. All I want is for my totaled car claim to be paid out so I won't have to deal with this company ever again. They have the worst customer service as well!

National Adjustment Bureau gap payment

My truck was totaled and I paid for gap insurance coverage when I purchased the truck. Truck was totaled june 2017, I am just now getting a call from a debt collector that I owe over $1600 for unpaid balance. This company is horrible I thought I had this taken care of but just now almost 2 years later getting calls that the this company did not cover all the balance. I paid for a service that was obviously worthless. This company is obviously just taking payments and not upholding their responsibilities.

National Adjustment Bureau gap insurance

I had an accident 6/22/18. The vehicle was totaled by my insurance company after inspection. I notified nab of the situation. They sent me a list of documents that had to be submitted in 90 days of the insurance payoff. I sent requested documents, they ask for more. They are reluctant to provide fax or e-mail. I fax documents per ups and have confirmation but they claim they never receive them. It is now 90 days and they are procrastinating, and I am being hounded by the lender of by loan to keep making the scheduled payments.

National Adjustment Bureau not wiliing to pay

I had a motorcycle and it was stolen on 10/14/12. The dealer offer me gap insurance through this company.
My allstate paid after a month and this guy send me a letter requesting all kind of document, which I provide to them. Now after 2 month they send me another letter requesting more stuff like: a copy of allstate pay check. I provide them with a copy of the pay out already. It seems like they just will keep inventing more document so they don't pay.
I will get a lawyer because this is it, I am mad as hell.

National Adjustment Bureau continual delays to avoid payment

This company appears to be a completel ripoff!

I have repeatedly provided them with all the requested information to settle my claim. They made me do all the colletion work. When I submitt to all their requirements, they send requests for further information in order to delay paying on my claim.

I am not turning over copies of all the paperwork to the pa attorney general's office for investigation.

Some their request for information even violate pa law in regards to the police releasing information about their investigations. A letter I sent to them from the local police dept., to prove that a report was filed after my vehicle theft, clearly stated that the police could not release details because of state laws. They still continue to insist I provide them with "a legible copy of the complete police report that includes a description of the loss (the drivers exchange of information is not accepable) if the loss is due to a theft, we will require the theft report that includes a completel narative detailing the theft along with the recovery report if applicable."

The letter I submitted to them from the police dept. Stated, "restrictions prohibit furnishing you a copy of the investigation report".

It is sad nobody will see these complaints before they enter into a contract with this company. There are reports all across the internet documenting their refusal and/or avoidance of paying out on claims.

My experiences with NAB were exactly the same as what you all describe. To help get out the word to others I created this website: www.nationaladjustmentbureau.com

Would appreciate all of you sharing the link to help get the word out. NAB stays in business because most people don't about them before it's too late.

This company is a complete joke. I was verbally told at the time of purchase that I could change the date that my payment was due to the fact that I am a Disabled Vet that only gets paid once a month. So this date was changed between the lien holder and I, during the next two years I was late on some payments but according to the lien holder I had a 2 week grace period which I was able to meet. Then my SUV was totaled and NAB did not pay the full amount owed leaving me with a couple grand left to pay which I do not have. All because on the paper was a date that should have been changed because I could never make because I live paycheck to paycheck. Been dealing with this since 05/09/2016 and just was told finally 01/25/2017. I guess I am not supposed to believe anyone anymore. I make my payments every month on time according to lien holder with the exception of a few but this company does not care. Just constantly looking for a way to cheat its customers. I have GAP through another company and was told by their rep before I could mention NAB that they are the industry pick pockets!

Worse company ever! Complete scam! Sent in all the paperwork and they still denied my claim. Played phone tag for over 4 months with no avail. I wrote an appeals letter then they said it was over the 90 day period to submit a claim! Don't ever do business with them!

NAB plays the following game with their 'claimants'. #1. Request lots of info (make claimant do the gathering of course). #2 Receive info and wait 5-7 business days to reply, #3. Repeat the process for steps #1 and #2. Next, #4. They claim they are NOT the underwriter of the policy! Really? Then, #5. They claim the underwriters need more proof like tax returns, recorded interviews via phone, notarized affidavits and more. In the end, #6. They refer to their 15 "Conditions" written in a 6 pt. font that basically eliminates their obligation to pay on most claims (at least on our policy). This is a scam if I ever saw one! Where's the BBB? Why no action against them? I'm filing my complaint today!

These jerks ripped me off as well. They acted like they were going to pay and had me fax and send in paperwork. After they found out the dealership was out of business where I purchased the vehicle and GAP insurance; they proclaimed that they never received the policy or payment from them. Even though I have a cancelled check to the dealer for the exact omount of the policy and a signed contract they said I am SOL. I told them I was going to have my attorney contact them and they said to go ahead because he can't prove a thing and I would he throwing away more money. These ### should be in prison for fraud.

National Adjustment Bureau terrible company

My grandson was killed in an auto accident in nov 2008 & this company has sent me letters requesting information that their agents should have been doing themselves. I am not an insurance adjuster or investigator, so I have no knowledge of what reports or information they need to process this claim. However, the agent would send me a letter requesting the information instead of sending the request to the local police department, forensic lab, etc. I had a life insurance policy on my grandson with another insurance company and had an accidental death rider on it. That company sent all their requests to the agencies involved and got their own reports. The last report they sent for (which I am unaware of what report that was) apparently was the determining factor for the payment received on that rider policy. That is the only report I did not send to this company because they didn't ask for anything after the forencis report.

This company wants to 'avoid' paying any claims at any cost to the policy owner. I feel they have prolonged my grieving due to the hassle they have put me through. I would not recommend anyone to have any business dealings with them in the future.

I totally agree. My vehicle was hit while parked by a drunk driver. I got ten pages of forms to fill out and it has significantly delayed my purchase of a replacement vehicle.
