This company appears to be a completel ripoff!

I have repeatedly provided them with all the requested information to settle my claim. They made me do all the colletion work. When I submitt to all their requirements, they send requests for further information in order to delay paying on my claim.

I am not turning over copies of all the paperwork to the pa attorney general's office for investigation.

Some their request for information even violate pa law in regards to the police releasing information about their investigations. A letter I sent to them from the local police dept., to prove that a report was filed after my vehicle theft, clearly stated that the police could not release details because of state laws. They still continue to insist I provide them with "a legible copy of the complete police report that includes a description of the loss (the drivers exchange of information is not accepable) if the loss is due to a theft, we will require the theft report that includes a completel narative detailing the theft along with the recovery report if applicable."

The letter I submitted to them from the police dept. Stated, "restrictions prohibit furnishing you a copy of the investigation report".

It is sad nobody will see these complaints before they enter into a contract with this company. There are reports all across the internet documenting their refusal and/or avoidance of paying out on claims.

My experiences with NAB were exactly the same as what you all describe. To help get out the word to others I created this website: www.nationaladjustmentbureau.com

Would appreciate all of you sharing the link to help get the word out. NAB stays in business because most people don't about them before it's too late.

This company is a complete joke. I was verbally told at the time of purchase that I could change the date that my payment was due to the fact that I am a Disabled Vet that only gets paid once a month. So this date was changed between the lien holder and I, during the next two years I was late on some payments but according to the lien holder I had a 2 week grace period which I was able to meet. Then my SUV was totaled and NAB did not pay the full amount owed leaving me with a couple grand left to pay which I do not have. All because on the paper was a date that should have been changed because I could never make because I live paycheck to paycheck. Been dealing with this since 05/09/2016 and just was told finally 01/25/2017. I guess I am not supposed to believe anyone anymore. I make my payments every month on time according to lien holder with the exception of a few but this company does not care. Just constantly looking for a way to cheat its customers. I have GAP through another company and was told by their rep before I could mention NAB that they are the industry pick pockets!

Worse company ever! Complete scam! Sent in all the paperwork and they still denied my claim. Played phone tag for over 4 months with no avail. I wrote an appeals letter then they said it was over the 90 day period to submit a claim! Don't ever do business with them!

completely agree my car was totaled in may of 2014, its now june of 2015 and i still have 1500 left on the loan now in collections and am unable to get a new vehicle with this over my head. they played the same game with the long list of documents then they stated they needed a better more legiable copy of dealer, they got all that they paid a small piece of remaining amount then stated i had two service agreements that needs to be cancelled and with the money from that that should pay off my car well it didnt and they are stating i have to deal with the dealer for the remaining and the dealer is telling me i need to contact them...nightmare!

NAB plays the following game with their 'claimants'. #1. Request lots of info (make claimant do the gathering of course). #2 Receive info and wait 5-7 business days to reply, #3. Repeat the process for steps #1 and #2. Next, #4. They claim they are NOT the underwriter of the policy! Really? Then, #5. They claim the underwriters need more proof like tax returns, recorded interviews via phone, notarized affidavits and more. In the end, #6. They refer to their 15 "Conditions" written in a 6 pt. font that basically eliminates their obligation to pay on most claims (at least on our policy). This is a scam if I ever saw one! Where's the BBB? Why no action against them? I'm filing my complaint today!

These jerks ripped me off as well. They acted like they were going to pay and had me fax and send in paperwork. After they found out the dealership was out of business where I purchased the vehicle and GAP insurance; they proclaimed that they never received the policy or payment from them. Even though I have a cancelled check to the dealer for the exact omount of the policy and a signed contract they said I am SOL. I told them I was going to have my attorney contact them and they said to go ahead because he can't prove a thing and I would he throwing away more money. These ### should be in prison for fraud.

I elected to cancel my GAP Coverage after becoming suspicious about their insurance practices and under the written contract with National Adjustment Bureau (NAB), AKA National Safe Drivers (NSD) they are required to pro-rate and refund the balance of the contract when cancelled. National Safe Drivers alleges that they sent the refund checks for several hundred customers through a third party agent but the payments never made it to the dealerships. When the dealerships didn't receive the money to refund to the customers, NSD stated, "Our third party agent disappeared or went out of business and we are unaware of his/her whereabouts with the payments." NAB blames the NSD and then NSD blames the agent. Now they will not send out new payments to the dealerships to refund the customers stating the first payments might still show up. This is a typical scam where they are all actually one business funneling money through another name and yet another third or fourth party name to hide money and allege misconduct by an unknown person or business for missing payments. In all likelihood NSD and NAB never sends a legitimate payment to anyone other than to themselves. Class action suits should be soon down the road.

I also have a claim with National Adjustment Bureau- Gap Insurance. I was hospitalized for forty days as a result of the accident; they denied my claim stating I failed to comply within the thirty day time period. I was hit by an uninsured drunken driver therefore there was a pending criminal matter so I was unable to complete their claim checklist because the police report could not be released within the time period they requested. I can’t believe they denied my claim and refuse to pay off the remaining balance on the vehicle based on something I had no control over. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM.

I too have a claim with National Adjustment Bureau - GAP Insurance.
For me, I was rear-ended by a Diesel Semi-Truck - totaling my 05 Mazda pickup. (Not My Fault) It is exactly as discribed. Submited Info is not good enough. More Info requested. Still Not Good Enough.
Not it's avoidence. I send e-mails requesting "What Going On?" - "Why hasn't this claim been settled?" NO REPLY! They (N.A.B.) have blown off at least 3 - ten day payoff quotes in the last 3 months.
I will have a payment due on the Auto Loan in 10 days. If I don't make that Payment, My Credit Score goes straight to the TOILET!
