MyPoints - Unethical behavior

Company refuses to compensate for surveys completed, and are stating reasons that are not true for doing so. I am unable to exactly quote line by line the monies owed because I am no longer able to view that information on their website. Every time I log into the account and try to access required information, it states "we need a little bit more information to get you back into your account". When I put in the requested information, I get another message stating a time line for them getting back with me. It was been several weeks of getting the same message, and issue is still not resolved. I have attached a screen shot of one the emails received, stating the total amount of points accumulated which is 14, 560 as of the email date. According to their point system every 159 points = $1. Therefore 14, 560/159 = $91.57 + per their website a $10 sign up bonus, of which I do not call receiving. So, with the signup bonus the total would be $101.57

Desired outcome: compensation for surveys completed

MyPoints - Unable to redeem gift card

I have been a member of mypoints for years. Now all of a sudden they have no contact info. Their bot doesn't help. They have no link anywhere on their page to submit a ticket for help or even to email them for help.
When I try to redeem my gift card I get an odd message that states to use a different browser. Well I tried 3 different browser and like other people have already stated, they are having this same issue. Mypoints is not allowing me to redeem my gift card that I earned. They are fraudulent now. Unbelievable.

What a shame Same thing happened to me. I have over 115000 points accumulated over the years. I wanted to use these during my retirment when I get time ---- Can't believe they are doing this to hardworking me -- low to middle class people.

MyPoints - Account deactivated for no reason

If you want to waste your time and energy filling out surveys and not getting anything in return, then this is the site for you. Having done surveys with them for about 7 months now, everything was fine until last month. Twice they deactivated my account for no reason. Then suddenly a few weeks ago I get an email demanding a copy of my drivers license to "verify" my identity. They didn't seem to mind at first who I was. I'm just an elderly person trying to make a few dollars of gift cards to stretch my budget. I sent several emails asking why they needed this. All I would get were generic emails stating they need my id with picture. What a crock. They still owe me a $15.00 gift card. I will never see it. What a scam they have going on.

Agree the site is a scam without any sense of fairness. I was kicked off the site too. I lost multiple hundreds of dollars.

Agree with you -- I have been a member since 2003 and accumulated over 115000 points. And they deactivated me today. Can't get into my account.

I would recommend that you file a complaint with the FTC and other applicable agencies. They are currently blocking people who have already been verified by stating that they re-verification process has been postponed. In my opinion, this is outright fraud.

As soon as I used my newly created userID & password account, it says: "Your account has been deactivated". Thanks to you ladies for sharing your experiences. I won't waste my time to try and get my account reactivated. Sounds like they're gathering e-mail addresses for spam. Pfff...

Seems that MyPoints is deactivating elderly people, I too was using this to be able to have a few extra dollars to use at Christmas, and I did enjoy seeing other people's opinions. I had accumulated a lot of points and so far only response was " I was negative in responses"

My account was deactivated for no reason on the day I ordered two Amazon gift cards. It sounds like this website has some shady business going on since I've seen many complaints about people having this same problem with MyPoints on other websites. I don't trust them. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I'll have to wait to see if I at least receive my gift cards. Meanwhile, I'll take this as a sign to do something better with my time.

I did receive my virtual gift card but it was declined when I attempted to use it today (9-12-18)
