MyLife — unauthorized account charges

On 09/18/2019 MyLife.com accessed my credit union account and charged me $54.95 for a background search on me which I did not authorize. I don't know who or how they obtained my credit union account information. I attempted to have the so called subscription cancelled, however, their customer service representative found the email account but claimed there was no subscription. However, I explained I was looking a the charge shown on my bank account as I was speaking to him. He suggested I contact [protected]@mylife.com but it comes up as a 404 Error (this page cannot be found). The customer service rep also advised I send a copy of my bank statement with the charge via email to the member support email address. However, I will not be sending them access to the bank account because they would only continue to charge me for a service I did not order. I am requesting that whatever subscription which was started be cancelled immediately. I have notified my credit union to not honor any future credit requests from My Life. com. In addition I have put a freeze on the account until I receive notification that MyLife. com has cancelled the subscription.     MyLife — I sent an email to cancel my free trial already! please refund charges to my chase credit card... i’m on a fixed income and cannot afford...

    I cannot afford $89 charge I only wanted to try your site... I sent an email in time to cancel the free trial but this showed up on my Chase Cd! I'm disabled & on a fixed income so this is Not something I can afford... Please reverse charge ASAP. I hope this is resolved quickly, I need that credit in case my car breaks down.       MyLife — incorrect information about me and difficulty canceling trial membership

      On September 2, 2019, I was lured to MY Life by a pop-up saying that there was negative information about me on a MY Life profile. Sure enough, when I entered my name and zip code it came back with three arrests showing up on my profile BUT in order to see the details I needed to sign up for a $1.00 7-day trial membership. Before signing up I did go to "terms" and made a notation that the trial period began the day I signed up and would end on September 9th. I made sure to call on September 8th to cancel my membership- [protected] and was told I would receive an email with the confirmation; I did not receive an email and on September 12th, my husband asked about TWO VISA charges on our bank statement for $69.95 & $50.85 from My Life!

      I Called [protected] the next day and first spoke to "Jesse", in Manila, who was difficult to understand, impatient when I asked him to repeat, curt and rude. He insisted - INSISTED!!- there was no record of my call AND absolutely no way to return the $120.60 charged to my Visa. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he said no Supervisors were on the floor and when I asked for the phone number for Los Angeles or the main headquarters, Jesse said he needed to ask someone. He put me on hold and then the line went dead!!

      I called back later in the day and spoke with Ruby-- she was very nice from beginning to end and 100% professional. After explaining my situation she asked if she could put me on hold while she checked and quickly returned to say I would receive a full refund in approximately 2-3 business days and gave me a confirmation number right then. I was so delighted with the way my call was handled I asked to speak to Ruby's supervisor in order to officially compliment her! I basically made three calls to Manila
      in order to SUCCESSFULLY cancel a tri

      I attempted to see about the 3 "arrests", and did get a date-9/14/97- and a case number, but when I went to the Broward County Municipal Court they had no record of this and, by the way, I have never been arrested or detained in my life.

      I feel my issue with My Life has been corrected/resolved but I just wished to let you know what I experienced.

        My name is cheyenne nolan. I've been getting charged monthly outrageous amounts of money. Cancel my account or I will report you and your company to law enforcement. This is stupid. My email is [protected]@gmail.com. I shouldn't be charged for items I didn't receive. I would like a 100% refund with no questions asked. This is fraud and wrong. I dont have the money not the time to have to deal with it.

          has changed from one file of error to another file error on just about every category.
          no relatives listed belong to me. the address is wrong. my reputation fell quite a bit quickly. from high to low. income data wrong. education level - graduate.

          I dont wish to allow you to disseminate any more data on my behalf. Id like to opt out of your agency. why bother having any information at all if I cannot have my own?

          First you listed me as related to Alicia Marie Romo/Fiser/Fruin - then Avis Carter - related how? I had sex with their son? If you want a list of men that I have had sex with just ask ME - thanks.

            This site is a joke. Kept making me go round & round trying to see my or my husbands reports. I complained asking to cancel & they said they did yesterday, but acct still active. I'm afraid I'm going to be billed for a service that doesn't work & that I don't want. Please help. I even tried to unsubscribe from emails but they won't. I believe this is a phony site &/or a scam. I'm worried that all kinds of charges are going to appear I have made a terrible mistake trying to get such private info even though it was on me.

              MyLife — my life search

              I got this service because it's all too common # metoo crap where women are bypassing wishes of good father's to inflict psychological damage towards the father and the child for their pathetic feelings. This woman changed her phone number so in a hail Mary attempt to reach my daughter, U used this service with no success. I requested kindly for a refund, then the lady who was young, big headed and full of herself came up with stupid arguments to justify keeping $80 when I complimented on being about to find some people but not who was most important to me. U rather honestly move the funds to a service that delivers. She gave me a SOL speech, so I put on my Sylvester hat and escalated the phone call. The truth folks, if you found my comment, it's too late for you. But if you speak with conviction and don't be a liar. The services really didn't work for my needs, best of luck. But hell yeah it's true. Not only do they not give you your money, they make you feel stupid about it tried with me and I don't respect companies who degrade clients for profit. Flip this mother flipping complaining with all these snakes on this mother flipping site.

                MyLife — personal information/ defamation

                Good morning-I recently requested mylife to remove my information. They did remove my actual page when clicking on my name in search. However, when searching my name they continue to show my full name, DOB, address, and reputation rating From their website on the search engine page. Please help me to remove their identifying information and defamation reputation rating. Thank you in advance!

                  They claim that I have a criminal, "incarceration/Public records finding in my name...which there is not...but to see it (so that I can correct it) I'd have to give them money. BULL! ...WHAT A SCAM
                  They DO correctly identify me but then add in this bogus claim that my reputation is being injured by the existence of this supposed incarceration or whatever...WHAT A SCAM

                    This is a completely garbage site, used to provide false information to the world about anyone. To provide false information, and then provide a "reputation score" based on that false information, is a horrible form of defamation of character. I didnt even know this existed until today. I am disgusted. If there is a class action to take this down, count me in.

                        Not to mention, if you decide to allow this company to expose you, YOU have to pay money to correct the false I formation they blasted about you! If I can find a way to take these people down, I will.

                      MyLife — slanderous claims published online

                      MyLife is saying I have a criminal record, IN RED!!!, and I have never even been arrested! I cannot believe how much accurate personal information they are publishing about me, birth date, previous addresses, etc., enough to enable anyone who wants to easily steal my identity. Maybe it's good they actually also publish SLANDEROUS information like saying I have a criminal record and that I "may" be a sex offender (give me a break!) and all the other nasty things. Talk about working hard to live a good, clean life, only to have Mylife.com to come along and publish tons of false information for anyone to see and assume it is accurate. This is incredibly infuriating. Is there a class action lawsuit I can join? Why is this website even aloowed to exist?

                        The State of Florida sees fit to issue an insurance agent's license to me, and I have a less that 1% reputation rating???

                        Nothing, including the correct spelling of my name is correct about me on this website!! None of the people listed as relatives, etc. are accurate.

                        I never knew this site existed. I do not think that it has had any sort of negative impact on me personally, but I don't understand how they get away with this kind of thing.

                          MyLife — publication of false and misleading information

                          This public search website Mylife.com is damaging to the Americans as they publish information about the person that are false. Searched several people on Mylife and their information about those people I searched really caught me off guard especially the reputation score they assigned for each person along with the alerts in bold red stating about court or criminal records.The founder of this website Jeffrey Tinsley or whatever is his alias is should be held accountable and this site should be shutdown. This is clearly an invasion of privacy and they don't have any right to publish any personal information and data that are misleading and downright false. They're damaging a person's reputation for monetary gain and this is a travesty. I've read an article about Jeffrey Tinsley from a thorough background and legitimate agency that this man had a DUI arrest and yet his reputation score is more than 4, higher than Senator Lindsey Graham and Vice President Mike Pence. Go figure, a total scam.

                            I thought this company was a legitimate website but instead it is a fake fraudulent website the doesn't give out accurate information on anyone not to mention yourself. I called technical support twice about a refund and they didn't want to give me my money back. One of the technical support specialist told me to go on their website and email their member support to get a refund but the page doesn't work at all. I advise everyone to keep away from this website!

                              You know who you are. Now I do too.

                              Total click-bait scam. While trying to correct the false information listed by "mylife", as it is listed on this scam site, my credit card was charged a fee to which I did not agree. For all the false information listed they had no problem getting my credit card information correct, without my knowledge or consent.

                              Everyone I know will know about "mylife" including the Attorney General and various federal law enforcement people I know. I have just two words for you, and they aren't Merry Christmas. Watch me flame...

                                MyLife — a stupid unnecessary comment made by an anonymous person plus wrong info

                                There was an anonymous comment written they wouldn't be friends with me as if that is a mark on me rather than someone's opinion. I probably wouldn't be friends with them either and I am not responsible for anyone's bias who wasted their time to write such nonsense. This company shouldn't even print such stuff. Also I am affiliated with two people who I never knew who appeared to be past neighbors.

                                    You used to be able to post an anonymous review of someone right there on their page. It looks like they stopped letting users post reviews of someone. All they let you do is say whether or not you would be friends with them or not. Why did they stop letting someone write a review on people.??

                                  MyLife — fraudulent information about me

                                  I happened to find this site accidentally. I didn't even know this piece of garbage site existed. Much of what they note about me is fraudulent. Without purchasing an account to clean up their shoddy research and fraudulent reporting, they are leaving much disinformation about me on their horrible site. I have filed a complaint to the BBB and will take all means necessary to get them to remove my profile--WITHOUT paying them a RED CENT.

                                    I found a disturbing amount of information about myself on this site. After I searched on how to resolve it. I tried to email them to opt out and remove my information. They refuse to remove it unless I pay money to create an account with them! Everyone needs to file better business bureau complaints against them. No one should have to go through this.

                                      I signed up for your service and it's ineffective. First off, my name is Lloyd M. Brock, not Angela. The people I wanted to check on were not the ones I wanted to know about. Two of them you had no infromation on at all, so your service is of no value to me. The people I wanted information on were possibly trying to scam me for money. I filed a report with the FBI and ICE and haven't received any ainformation thus far.Please cancel my subscription.
