MyLife I google my name and this site shows up, displaying ALL of my FULL ADDRESSES from the last 10 years or so

I google my name and this site shows up, displaying ALL of my FULL ADDRESSES from the last 10 years or so. They also included all maiden and married names, everything! I was robbed at home at gunpoint 4 years ago and now I think I know why/how! I immediately called and demanded they take down my information. He told me this information is all over the net and told him ***! Nowhere online are my full names and addresses posted except here and this is HIGHLY ILLEGAL! Absolutely nothing was blocked out, not my birthday, name or past addresses! All the information needed to start an account in my identity! He said they don't remove it but I cussed his *** out and told him i will send police reports, medical bills and court records from my robbery and sue their fking *** for putting all my information online like that without anyone's permission. Even my pic! I NEVER had an account with these people! This type of information, background, is legitimately supposed to be used for reputable and verified businesses to conduct business, not for peoples pics, names, birthdays, and full addresses to be posted for anyone to see, steal from or hurt! I told him to remove my ST NOW! i went back to the page and it was gone. I'm suing! I can't believe these people are probably the reason I had a gun put to my head in front of my home by someone not even from my city! Mylife needs to brought down!

MyLife What do I think?

What do I think? Out of courtesy for others I will use civilized language. It is such a scam. The first mistake I made was linking onto their website. The second mistake I made was falling for their "information" about me and about how poor my reputation was based upon their findings of me. It would seem that my information was mixed in with another person with my name (funny that) that had, let us just say, a rather "sketchy", reputation. I "supposedly" had jumped bail, had wreckless driving offencess, and made heck of a lot more money and owned a much more expensive home and a completely different car. I also " supposedly" lived in a state that I have never even been to. I had "aliases" and a different birthday. However, they did have members of my family listed as people that I knew, which caused me great concern. Well, unfortunately, I fell for it and I wanted this "fixed" and agreed to their $1 charge to help me. (Third mistake). This, was also followed up by a $95 without my knowledge. When I would try to access my information to correct it their, website would not allow me make any changes regarding the bogus charges, etc. I soon figured out I was getting scammed and called the bank that issues my debit card, filed a dispute on both charges, withdrew the rest of my money from my account and cancelled the card. I was able to do this within the hour I made this transaction. Hope this is helpful to others.

MyLife They are still engaging in negative option marketing tactics!

They are still engaging in negative option marketing tactics! About a year ago I contacted My Life about having my name used on the internet search engine (JULY ) with references as "find out the real truth about this person and how you'll be shocked" with my life website .com being listed below. I contacted them about this and their link with my name and it was removed. Imagine my surprise when I googled my name and found the same link again (a year later) using the same negative marketing language about me. This time I paid for the search on myself and when it processed from the negative link it provided about me, that I paid for, it did not provide any results what so ever. I called them yesterday again and was informed that I would receive a refund but the fee was still deducted. I called them yet again today and for some strange reason the rep I spoke to informed me that I paid for a membership (that I did not) and goes on about how they can help me to get negative information on the internet about me removed. I replied that My Life is the only site slandering my name once again and they are the only website I need any help with removing the false and slanderous click bait for profit being used about me. Once again they offered to refund me for my "Membership" after the website took my money for a background check on myself that failed to produce any advertised results concerning their allegations to find out the real and shocking truth about me. Next time I see this I'll be sure to screen shot it before they can remove it so I can provide that proof to the FTC. Had I known about the lawsuit the FTC filed against My Life I would have filed that complaint with some screen shots.

MyLife SCAM! Mylife is a scam!

SCAM!

Mylife is a scam! I googled myself out of curiosity one day and found my name, address, phone number, parent's name and address and other PRIVATE bits of information publicly available on Mylife.com. To make matters worse, it said that I had criminal records in my name. I clicked that link and it said that it'd let me see my criminal history and where the sources of information were taken from if I paid them just one dollar for a week long premium membership. Unfortunately, I did.

I found where they got my data, requested it be removed, clicked on my criminal history, it was bull ***. As it turns out, this site uses truth about you to make lies look more real. Then it charges you money to remove them. So I tried to cancel my account and found that I couldn't delete it, all I could do is disable to autorenewal. I clicked disable and then when exploring the rest of my profile for anything to that would let me disable my account, found another service that I was automatically signed up for. I clicked disable to that. Then I searched around a bit more and clicked on everything that I could, made sure that nothing was set to autorenew, logged out and thought it was done. Then three days later, I was charged 60 bucks!

So I called up their customer support, complained about the charge, and was told that my account still was active and autorenew was still enabled, despite it showing as disabled in my account. Furthermore they informed me that I'd only be getting $45 back, not $60 and that I should not dispute this with my bank or it would cancel my refund. I told her that I would dispute it and I didn't enable autorenew because it said that it was disabled right on my freaking account page. She told me it was still enabled. I told here the website was a scam and she hung up on me.

DO! NOT! BUY! IN! TO! THIS!

MYLIFE.COM IS A FREAKING SCAM!

MyLife Background search service

I’ve had a subscription with them in the past when I had to do background searches on myself, as well as, my husband. I kept their services for a year. They even helped me to locate my husband’s long lost son. Now the site is not available and if you call the voicemail is robotic and it tells you to go to the site. You can’t get help anywhere, nor can you use the service.

Desired outcome: There’s something not right. I want my money back. They’re using logos on their sites showing that they’re safe, Norton & McAfee & need to know their good names are being used on a site that doesn’t allow their customers access.

After getting several contacts from this company showing my profile, I decided to look at it. I did NOT, however, sign up for any long term subscription! The site is very deceptive when one tries to navigate to next page (s). I was billed on my credit card $29.85 on 3/6/23. I have repeatedly called to get a refund & cancel future debits as adviced, but only get a recording to send an email. I have emailed four times/days starting on 3/6 & have gotten NO response! Refund me immediately & cancel any memberships!

MyLife All my personal information needs to be removed from the MYLIFE, INC website, as it has been posted without my permission or consent

All my personal information needs to be removed from the MYLIFE, INC website, as it has been posted without my permission or consent. Dear ComplaintsBoard.com, my husband was recently a victim of identity theft and because the incidents occurred thousands of miles away from where we live, we are certain his information got stolen because of websites like MYLIFE, INC, which have made public lots of our personal information without our permission nor consent. While my husband is in the process of restoration, I am very concerned that my identity was compromised as well. Doing a quick search of my name on the MYLIFE, INC website, I came across to a list of URLs: *** So I immediately took action and sent MYLIFE, INC an email to their Costumer Care on March 30, in which I asked them to remove all of my information from their website and databases. I received an email back from them right away and read that I have to be a paid member and "log in" to do this. I would never give them my credit card or a cent to remove my own information. But some thief could pay them $10 and get it and steal using my name, like somebody did to my husband! I can see from the many complaints to the ComplaintsBoard.com that my case is not isolated with the MYLIFE,INC; they not only appropriate themselves with people's personal information, but also profit in every single way! MYLIFE, INC. has aggregated the most sensitive information like my birthdate, addresses, work history, court/county records, photos, and many others items, that anybody can access for malicious reasons and purposes. All they need is my name (or variations of my name). I understand that this information has been aggregated by MYLIFE, INC from public records; however, the manner this company uses technology to aggregate and relate information makes it available and easy to find to all internet users worldwide in a manner that is not possible without technology. This was never the intent of public record laws and in fact, constitutes an abuse of public records laws, as MYLIFE, INC currently displays the information on their website. I would like all my personal information removed from the MYLIFE, INC website, as it has been posted without my permission or consent. Thanks in advance for your help and best regards

They have my personal identifiable information up on their website, and I have emailed them countless times about removing it. I was a victim of stalking, and had personal photos stolen from me. They are on this website as my profile picture and I demanded that they remove it, and nothing. It has been months since the first contact with them. I also bought a subscription for there services to try and delete it myself. I tried to cancel and there is no way of cancelling. I emailed them about that to and asked for a refund when the second 90 day subscription went through and nothing. They only responses I have received are automated emails and nothing gets done. I signed up for a trial and quickly realized the same day that it was near impossible to reach support or to ask questions. At that time I was able to finally reach a representative after an hour and 15 minutes waiting on the phone. Now you can only reach anyone by emailing your issue to support@mylife.com.After reaching a representative, they tried for 5 minutes for me not to cancel. After my patience were nearly worn then, she finally relented and canelled my account and stated I would not be charged moving forward. Cancellation number *** given on December 7th, 2022. This morning, March 7th, 2023, I was charged $44.85 from MyLife.com two months after cancelling. I can't get a hold of anyone on the phone and sent an email. Of course I can't login to my old account because it has been deleted and doesn't exist (after testing).I'm unable to reach anyone to get a refund and am now looking at filing theft charges for unauthorized credit card withdrawl from my account with the authorities and the *** if I do not get a refund and a confirmation this will not happen again. I never wish to deal with this company ever again.

A situation developed that I needed to find information on a subject who took my phone under questionable circumstances. I signed up for My Life's one time report for $9.95 but was charged $155.40 for a one year subscription. The company's phone recording instructs you to contact them by email but have received no response from two emails already sent.

On Jan 11th, I reviewed Mylife.com -- they offered a yearly subscription for *** -- I passed; then, right away they offered the same yearly subscription for ***. I said, "what the heck" and signed up. I was charged twice on the same day, from my bank acct; one charge was for *** and the second one was for ***. I tried to call *** (phone number on my bank statement), I had no luck (endless phone tree). I emailed them my issue and received a blanket, "thank you for your email" response. Today, I tried to access MyLife, and apparently I am locked out (password/user name issues). K, I save all of my user name/passwords. So I use the "forgot my password link". I've been waiting for hours, for the email to reset my password. I did look in my junk box, as well. I've received all other emails from them -- "thank you for signing up" and " we received your email, re: an issue". I'm UNHAPPY. I would like ALL of my money back, thank you

MyLife Has misinformation about me to remove I signed up for one month

Has misinformation about me to remove I signed up for one month. that month is up, info is back & to remove they say I must pay again. I paid for one month of service to have my personal info removed. I was told it would be removed completely & for good and it was not. My information shows up on Home buying sites,(screen shots attached) as well as others and did so during the month I paid for after I was told my private info, home address etc had been removed. I have contacted them several times and they say "it takes time to remove" each time I spoke with them. Now that the month is up, my info is still up and on new sites as well. This still includes my home address and no other site or organization has ever made my home address public. I am a single woman and I do not want my home address public. The only reason I paid to join this organization was because I was told all my private information would be removed from the web. I first paid for a three month membership thinking that included removing my own information. I chose 3 month membership as it was the least expensive. Then I was told I had to buy another membership In order to remove my personal information. (This was not made clear with the 3 month subscription) I did so and now that month is up and I have to pay for another month to have the information removed again. I am now aware that is their SOP. I'm not as concerned about the money, even though I feel duped into paying it. What I care about is having my personal information, especially my home address removed from this site and others as this is what I paid for. This is a scam site and it should be taken down. I want my information removed from the site and any affiliates. Also since buying a one month membership they have added additional negative reports, lowered my so-called reputations score and connected my information to people I don't know. I have now read been made aware of many complaints regarding my life to ComplaintsBoard.com. This organization should be shut down. They are misleading in their advertising and promises. I signed up for a one-month subscription in January. The screenshot from my bank account for $9.95 is for the one-month subscription. I paid that one through my bank account. The photo of the three month subscription ends in April there is not a receipt listed there nor the amount I paid. I have to research my Credit card history to find that. Will provide if necessary mostly however I want my information removed not as concerned about the refund.

MyLife MyLife.com offered a free trial of their service for 14 days

MyLife.com offered a free trial of their service for 14 days. I cancelled the service on the first day & was then charged for subscription. 2/27 - I opted for a 'free 3-day trial' of mylife.com. In order to sign up, you had to include a credit card for auto billing after the trial period. I did this (my first mistake) - and then checked out the service. I cancelled the same day: 2/27 and received a confirmation email confirming the cancellation, with an offer to resume my free trial within the next 14 days. On 3/1, (2 days later) mylife.com sent me a renewal notice (which I did not see b/c I thought I had 14 days to resume my free trial?!?) saying that they were going to charge me for their subscription. How is that possible? I cancelled the trial subscription. That should have also indicated that I didn't want the service. Why would I cancel a free trial but want to pay for the subscription? In addition, the cancellation email is misleading, since it is offering to sign up for the trial subscription for 14 days - and if you do, then they will charge you. I did not resume the premium membership, so the other lines in the legal (small text) should not pertain to me. I tried to call customer service, and the representative told me that she'd reinstate my membership to give me $10 back (instead of $19.95) and take my feedback under advisement for future use. This is shady practices at best. Why would I reinstate something that I cancelled in the first place? So that I can go through this again? I just want my money back, $19.95, and I never want to see this company again. I am also documenting all actions since they are a 'reputation management company' because if any retaliation occurs, I will obtain legal counsel. Legal text that was part of confirmation email is below and email has been attached as file.

I have made (3) requests to MyLife.com to OPT OUT and remove my private information from their public for-profit website. Requests are ignored. I believe your site has caused me to be the victim of identity theft and has caused a new credit tradelines to be created that match the newly added incorrect information on mylife.com I requested the entire profile be removed December as I do not feel it is ethical nor safe that you are allowed to lie and have on the internet a false Alias or AKA that does not belong to me and a current address, location, and associates I have never heard of. I do not use an alias. My name belongs to me and it is my legal name that I am identified by. Your site even posts an incorrect date of birth making me seem much older than I am as well as implying that I am a danger and risk to my neighbors and potential associates. Your site says that I have a criminal history yet I have never been arrested in my life. I feel violated and unsafe with the disgusting false portrayal I've asked to be deleted. I am asking to OPT OUT and to have my profile REMOVED- again. I sent my original request December 7 and again December 21. I included the name of my family attorney who informed me that I have the legal right to have this damaging profile deleted. I kindly asked your agent to remove my profile or confirm if a legal action was the only means of resolution. On January 4, I uploaded a copy of my ID with private information redacted and now you have added more false information to lower my reputation score with 26 middle-aged and senior citizen associates whom I have never heard of and relatives that are not mine. These associates are also listed as being dangerous criminals. I have no control over my own information as what you have published is INCORRECT as well as putting me at risk for financial losses and future earnings since your site claims I have criminal history but my job background checks are clear in spite of co workers using *** see me now as an unsafe person because MyLife.com has falsified and manipulated my identity. You list me as living in a city I do not reside in and even lied about my marital status, voter history, as well as falsified my religious background and ethnic identity. I do not wish be forced to pay for any services that falsely claim to allow me to control my own profile. This has proven to be a means to charge customers based on a lawsuit by the FTC.

MyLife I asked the company to please remove my personal information from their site through their removal requests email address

I asked the company to please remove my personal information from their site through their removal requests email address. They have not done that. On March 17, I requested that MyLife remove my listing from their website. It contains FALSE and misleading details about me. This caused a personal problem in a relationship I was having. I contacted My life through email *** and explained the situation asking the company to remove my profile. I received a reply (below) stating that they had removed the information. On March 19 I checked the site and my profile is still there. I have since emailed them two more times but now I have gotten no response. MyLife Mylife mischaracterized a case as criminal, whereas the clerk's office reports it as a minor traffic infraction

Mylife mischaracterized a case as criminal, whereas the clerk's office reports it as a minor traffic infraction. Refuse to remove w/o payment. On 7/25 I purchased a 3 day membership for mylife.com in order to view the info on my "reputation" for sale on the website. Only one court case is listed. ***, is listed as a Criminal Offense dated 12/5/00 - no further info. I called the *** clerk's office on 7/27. The clerk's office reports it was a minor traffic infraction, which was paid in full. Clerk reports NC cannot do anything about the website posting. Advises me to contact them directly to have the record corrected. I called mylife.com customer service on 7/27, advised of the incorrect info, and was placed on hold multiple times. Explained I believed it to be defamation of character and requested it be removed. (Also made this request online & made a note as to it being a traffic infraction.) Was told by customer service the information comes from the State of NC and they are the only ones who can repair the record, as it is a public record. Explained to agent again the way their website has characterized the public record is incorrect. NC cannot change that, and again I believe it to be defamation of character if they continue to post the mischaracterization of it being a Criminal offense. Again was placed on hold. Was then told only way to revise the content is to purchase a premium membership. I explained that sounded a lot like extortion, which I added, is a crime. Agent continued to parrot earlier contention that the info was public information that they got from the State of NC and their service is to make me aware of what is out there in order for me to revise it and claimed I should purchase a premium membership as a way to be notified of information like this being publicly available. I explained it was a proposterous notion, if she really believed I should pay them money when they are posting incorrect information from whatever sources they obtained them from, and I further explained my intentions were to take the legal action as I again believe the company to be collecting money from others in order to sell my "reputation" under false pretenses, thereby defaming my character. I asked to be connected with the legal department. The agent told me she could not do so, and when asked for a physical address, she initially told me all that was available is the website: mylife.com. When pressed, however, after another hold, she gave the address as: *** (which is different than the address listed on the ComplaintsBoard.com site). I believe this issue could have easily been resolved by mylife.com verifying with the *** clerk's office in NC that the case number listed was indeed a minor traffic infraction which was paid in full and correcting the record on the account proporting to be my "reputation" which they actively market and sell to others. Additionally I would prefer mylife.com do just that, and correct the record, over pursuing legal action against them. However I am prepared to take the necessary measures to resolve this matter in Court if required. No company should sell information which they are being told by a paying customer is incorrect and at the very least should investigate to ascertain whether the information they are selling is correct or not. Merely claiming the information was provided by some other party does not excuse them from responsibility.

MyLife Plaintiff Hewlett has demanded opt-out (removal) of personal data that is violating Calif Privacy Laws

Plaintiff Hewlett has demanded opt-out (removal) of personal data that is violating Calif Privacy Laws. MyLife (***) has refused. I am a past victim of identity theft, many times. This company is releasing my personal information on-line and refuses to remove my data despite my demands to do so, and/or opt-out causing me harm by allowing (imposters) to gather my information. This company is apparently not registered with the California Attorney General as a Data Miner / Data Broker as required by California Civil Code 1798.99.80, and is also violating AB1202, Chapter 753, Part 4, Division 3. Furthermore, MyLife (***) company, despite many emails and demands by victim Norman Hewlett, (required) Hewlett to create an account with MyLife in order to allegedly remove my profile. MyLife.com further required victim to (((upload his drives license))) and personal information; this company does not have a direct opt-out as required by law per the Calif Attorney General. They also wanted to collect money from me via the account which I refused. The company is operating under multiple addresses and identities (i.e. MyLife.com, ***.com, LLC, and others). They use offices in the Los Angeles area, but their main Corporate is out of the UK. Phone calls only go to automated machines - you cannot get anyone. I have sent perhaps 11 e-mails to date demanding removal of my personal information (with their identification number of me) which has not been done. They only send you an automated response. Another issue is when you are compelled to register with their site, and then request removal, it apparently only removes your account, but does not remove the data they are storing on you, again, violation the opt-out demand and demand for removal of your data per California Law. *** The respond from them is: Thank you for contacting MyLifeTM Customer Care. This note is to inform you that we have received your inquiry and below is the steps to remove your MyLife profile. Please go to ***, and select FAQ #18... Sincerely, MyLife.comTM Customer Care Team. When you go to # 18 - It requires you to sign up for their service in order to remove your personal information (see below): *** Please include the following information with your check or money order: The email address associated with your MyLife.com(r) account. A phone number where you can be reached. As you can see they are compelling me to "pay" to have my information removed in violation of the law, and Privacy Act. This company has also been sued in the past for violations of privacy. I was advised of the following by the Attorney Generals Office: Businesses that sell personal information are subject to the CCPA's requirement to provide a clear and conspicuous "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link on their website that allows you to submit an opt-out request. ((( Businesses cannot require you to create an account in order to submit your request ))).

MyLife MYLIFE ILLEGALLY COLLECTED AND DISSEMINATED ERRONEOUS INFORMATION ABOUT ME WITHOUT PERMISSION and refused to remove it from their database

MYLIFE ILLEGALLY COLLECTED AND DISSEMINATED ERRONEOUS INFORMATION ABOUT ME WITHOUT PERMISSION and refused to remove it from their database. MYLIFE *** XXXXX-XXXX *** Box ***, *** XXXXX-XXXX (XXX) XXX - XXXX orX-XXX-XXX-XXXX *** Since 2016, I have faxed and mailed confirmation from police departments, using the provided company OPT OUT forms. Although my request does not need a reason for the removal of my private, confidential, personal information, nonetheless I included the following reasons: I have evidence from the courts that MyLife's the records are incorrect (i.e., no criminal records, etc.). I prefer to prohibit the worldwide dissemination of my private and personal identifying information being made available on the dark web, elsewhere, as well as to any other aggregator. In addition to my OPT OUT request to MyLife.com, subsequent requests for the removal of my name from their aggregate data base, including incorrect information (mis- identifications), and other errors has not been granted, which violates state law. MyLife.com refused to remove my information and clearly refuse to abide by the following federal laws and case precedents. As of March 6 and June 19, my personal information remains available for identity theft and stalking. Therefore, I am writing to you regarding MyLife.com's proclivity and refusal to remove inaccurate information regarding my name on their website. Their information is slanderous and derogatory, as well as inaccurate. My written requests (via email) have been ignored. On MyLife.com I found numerous inaccuracies about my person: relatives listed I have never heard of, inaccurate addresses, etc,. MyLife.com website posts information about me that I did not give them permission to collect, store, or use. The website claimed that I could have my profile removed "in one click" which is false. They replied to my email telling me to go to the FAQ but that did not work.I have sent emails to MyLife.com within the past thirty (30) days regarding incorrect information about myself on its website and requesting my profile be removed, instead I received a solicitation email. As a defense for their refusal to remove my information from their database, MyLife.com claims to have aggregated this information from public records and court cases. However, emails I have received from courthouse clerks and prosecutors' offices confirm that I do not have any arrest records locally or nationally. Upon further research I discovered the above are ongoing issues with MYLIFE. It has over 13, 600 complaints against it for the aforementioned reasons. MyLife.com advertises its services as being more important, more reliable, and more accurate than a FICO score and CREDIT REPORT?!?!? My excellent FICO SCORE and credit scores, in addition to thorough vetting, contradict the information on the MyLife.com website, which some parents and employers have used to determine an applicant's character. MyLife.com responded to my email which stated I could call or email their customer service department to request removal of my information. Subsequent emails from MyLife.com claimed that they removed my information. Unfortunately, after a few days, followed by weeks, this incorrect information remains on their site. Additional emails to MyLife.com requested the following: Please remove me from all of your databases as I have already requested. Remove my information from your system (or any other owned resources). Immediately, cease, desist, and refrain from collecting, storing or disseminating any information about my person without written consent (which you never had). MyLife is responsible for carefully clarifying and validating information prior to posting it online since they claim, "Your MyLife 'Reputation Score' is more important, or just as important as a FICO score..."

MyLife Complaint against: MyLife.com 907 Westwood Blvd

Complaint against: MyLife.com 907 Westwood Blvd. #359 Los Angeles, CA 90024 They are ruining my life with their erroneous tactics to get money! My Life had my name in red letter citing saying"*** has criminal background history. I lost my job due to COVID-19 and amy actively looking for a job! People see this, and when I called their representative about this she told me that they were a company that helped people to repair their reputation if anything was derogatory. I paid the $47.85 to view this report, and there was nothing as I knew it would be nothing, an old judgement, I paid for, and a bankruptcy discharged in 2016. They use this information they file on public records to embarrass and extort money from unsuspecting people. No other company but them is doing this. I checked Intelligus, beenverified, etc and none of these companies do this but mylife.com. Today they sent me the following email which appears they are trying to get me to upgrade the membership I have to a premium membership. I do not want them using my name and background information for any of their nefarious schemes to fleece money out of me, and to discredit me to employers, or anyone else while I am looking for a job or at any time ever! I live a very quiet life. I do not do anything wrong. I follow the law at all time, and pay my bills, and do not have any criminal history at all. My daughter and I want to buy a house, and have been watching everything, and working hard to make all payments, and not to owe anything but mylife.com takes old historical public records to uses against you as scare tactics to force you into using their services so they can "help you" correct the information where there is nothing that anyone would be concerned about by putting your name in red letters and hinting that you may have a criminal record when you do not. I am very upset, and I am incensed that they are getting away with doing this to people. The score they put on their email 2.89 was not even the score on my file, it was higher. And how dare they do think they can judge people, when they do not have a criminal background, and apply some ridiculous score. They are the ones with the Ethics problem, they are the ones whose reputation should be in question! They are using a form of extortion to get money from people who vulnerable. The website alleges that it contains a basic profile of all circumstance of my life including things such as friends, associates which are misleading. I have been aware of this business for sometime, but recently I received an email from the business, and I am not aware of how they obtained the email address, which they used to contact me, telling me, in effect, that people were searching me on their website, and that I was receiving quasi-negative reputation reviews. I read over how this website calculates its so-called "reputation score" and I find it downright tasteless, and libelous. For example, one of the ways that this "reputation score" is calculated, is a combination of factors, including, if the website (mylife) supposedly has quasi-court records pertaining to the individual or anyone who it believes are the individual's associates. On its profile of my person, which I consider to be libelous, in its assessment of me (this infamous "reputation score") it concludes through information, some of which is not at all accurate that I know of and may not be at all accurate, that I have "reputation score" that is "8% lower than the national average". In other words, according to the website 'mylife.com' I have a reputation of being a rather sleazy individual, in that I am "8%" less moral than the average American. One of the factors in which it comes to this conclusion, is that it concludes that I am an "associate" of a*** of Campobello, South Carolina, also purportedly of a low character, by way of the connotation of his "reputation score". I do not know anyone by the name of***. Another way that mylife.com concludes that apparently I am a man of low repute, is that it finds that a neighbor of mine, who has been deceased for just over a decade, has someone that lives at their address, who is supposedly not a reputable person either. I do not know this person either. I know of the people that live across the street from me, who these neighbors are supposed to be, but do not know them very well, and I have never had a cross-word with them, nor have I have heard anyone say a word bad about them I have never spoken to the living neighbor in question to my knowledge. Additionally the profile of me states "*** does have court, arrests, or criminal records". Notice that 'records' is plural, and in my view, that wording would be inferred by most to mean that I am a criminal. I do not know what information they have on my background, and I believe that this type of thing is none of their business, but I do have one 1st offense DUI against me, but this was 6 years ago; was a misdemeanor; I served my punishment, which did not include jail time; and this is the only brush in with the law that I have ever had. I should not have this held against me the rest of my life. Another thing that I found while looking into this ridiculous business, via their website, is that they also have my Grandmother***, who we lost in September, as also having a low "reputation score". According to the people at mylife.com, my Grandmother ***'s reputation is some "3%" lower than the rest of the American population. *** had an outstanding reputation, and was universally loved by all that knew her. The website list my phone number and address, which I feel violates my privacy, even purports to know my income, and my net worth, both of which are not accurate, and are not anyone's business, but my own and the IRS of course. I would like for my information, such as where I live to be taken down, and for the website to stop suggesting that I am of a lower character, because it suggests, wrongfully, that I know others who they say are. I don't know, but these people may be fine people, and not of a low reputation as mylife.com suggest. I also demand that the website mylife.com stop writing that my reputation is such an such percentage points less than the average American and to also stop defaming my late Grandmother***'s reputation as well, or the matter may need to be resolved by litigation. Sincerely

Wednesday, 27 July, 2022, I authorized a one-time charge of $1.99 via my eBay Extras Mastercard/Synchrony Bank credit card in response to an offer advertised on the web at ***When I received an email confirming this $1.99 charge, I also received two additional emails for more charges - also activated July 27th - for two (2) three month periods, as indicated above. These additional charges were added to my eBay Extras MC I used to pay for the one-time authorized $1.99 charge! I did not authorize these additional charges and want them cancelled and a full $89.90 credit posted.I am a retired professional, President Emeritus of Liberty Villas Retirement Community in Southern Illinois, and am quite hard of hearing (my wife is usually available to get on an extension telephone line to help listen in and 'translate' what the customer service rep in billing disputes says to me when I call in, asking for clarification) and as usual the CS rep always talks too fast, too low and more times than not, with a foreign accent as well as continuing to speak when I am trying to explain the reason for my call in! My preference, therefore, is to use the internet/email to communicate.I tried for several days to communicate with*** and never received an answer. I did reach the chat box which confirmed that an email would be sent with a form letter to fill out to cancel the unauthorized charges but no email was ever received.Yesterday, I finally relented to using the phone and, with my wife interpreting, we finally reached a person who worked with us to solve the problem. Throughout our conversation, the CS rep complained she could not 'hear' my wife very well at all and the situation was mutual. CS rep was unauthorized (above her pay grade) to put through credits for the two unauthorized $44.85 additional charges and tried to connect us with a supervisor who could but told us no one was available. After a couple more times on hold, CS rep did say she was unauthorized to put through two (2) partial credits; i.e., one (1) for $34.90 against the first unauthorized $44.85 charge and another (2) $29.95 against the second unauthorized $44.85 charge.$44.85 x 2 = $89.90 minus $64,85 ($34.90 + $29.95) = $25.05 plus the original authorized $1.99 = $27.04. This snafu has cost me $27.04)!During this loonnngggg conversation, CS rep did share each time I "checked in" July 30th and August 1st, it generated the additional charge(s), $44.85 - each. There were no 'searches' requested, nor any received in either of those check-ins. Yesterday - with my wife's help - was the first and only time I got through to*** and spoke with anyone re my concerns! The CS rep assured us we would receive an email from her "within the next five (5) minutes," confirming the cancellation request, TC #***, nothing - in additional - the above offered credits. To this date/time we never received her email!Hence, this complaint letter about my billing dispute and asking for an investigation of fraud, an out and out "bait and switch" by***, an "Oh, I'm sorry, did I forget to mention each time you reach out to us it generates a "search" and generates a $44.85 charge for a "Plan Selected" for "3 months." (All pertinent print-outs of internet emails are enclosed).I am reluctant to use the email route to ascertain my account status because I am charged for every email as a 'search request.' I have never made a search request beyond the one I paid for with my eBay Extras MasterCard @ $1.99. Then this trouble started. ***, Inc. used my eBay MC without any authorization form me or explanation to me about what was going on.Is this your way of defrauding prospective clients to stay in business? My father in law was a life long grocery man and his motto was "The customer is always right." You should update your business plan because I am seeking redress and full credit to my account for those two $44.85 charges, not withstanding I did agree to accepting the partial credits offered by your CS rep but that was done upon her assurances she would send email confirmation of our telephone conversation and it's outcome and she did not!I now withdraw my acceptance as it was made in good faith and*** did not reciprocate.

MyLife Unauthorized charge made to my debit card

My bank sent me a text message saying they suspected fraudulent activity from my debit card and asked if I had made a $41.85 purchase from MYLIFE VI PPL on March 15th around 5:30 pm (I wasn't even on the internet at this time). I did not make this purchase and I just want to know exactly where it came from. I now have to get a new debit card, which means I can't make any purchases for 5-7 days until I get my new card in the mail. I wanted to know if MYLIFE VI PPL (that's how it appeared on my statement) is related to mylife.com, a site I never go to, and I wanted to know if they are hacking random people online.

Desired outcome: I would just like to know who in the heck MYLIFE VI PPL actually are so that I can have some piece of mind.
