I moved on 1/13/22 from my previous residence to my new home in a different state. I hired a team of three movers and specifically asked if they would properly pad and wrap my furniture before transporting it. They assured me that they would, but unfortunately, it seems like they were not honest about it. Upon arrival at my new home, I noticed that some of my new furniture pieces were cracked and broken. To make matters worse, the movers did not inform me about the damages and instead tried to fix one of the nightstand legs while still on the truck. They placed the damaged furniture in my home without saying a word. Prior to the move, all of my furniture was in perfect condition as it is less than a year old. Now, I have a broken leg on a brand new nightstand and a cracked table in my living room. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, especially considering that they charged me over $2,000 for their services. I strongly believe that the cost of the damaged items exceeds the amount they charged me. I am seeking assistance in disputing this charge and resolving the issue.
