And to make matters worse, no one bothered to get back to me for a whole week. Can you imagine the stress and worry I was going through?

The same person who initially ignored me finally called me back, only to tell me that it's perfectly normal for the CT Scan report to take a whole week to come out. Can you believe the audacity?

The disorganization, slow response times, and lack of communication can put pets in danger, especially when they urgently require medication. It's frustrating that it takes three whole days and a significant amount of follow-up just to obtain my dogs' necessary medications.

Furthermore, the prices charged by MSPCA Angell are exorbitant. They seem to charge excessively for everything, which can be quite burdensome for pet owners.

Be cautious when dealing with this organization, folks! They constantly plead and beg for money, claiming they're in desperate need, but they take advantage of pet parents seeking care for their animals. Let me give you an example: I went to one of their vets for a quick 10-minute visit, and guess what? It cost me a whopping $140, and that didn't even include any labs, tests, or diagnostics. All I got was a "referral." They simply observed my pet and repeated what I already knew about the problem. Can you believe it?

But wait, there's more! They charged me $50 for a vet tech to take my pet's blood pressure, and it took them less than 5 minutes! When I confronted the veterinarian about this outrageous fee, they justified it by saying something about "equipment and special training." Let me tell you, their Doppler machine was ancient and wouldn't even be allowed in a human hospital. And all the tech did was inflate a blood pressure cuff and listen for the blood return. When I pointed this out to the vet, they had the audacity to say, "You only know this because you're a medical professional. The general public doesn't have this knowledge." Can you believe their arrogance?

In my opinion, they prey on kind-hearted people and prioritize profits above all else. It's clear to me that they're not to be trusted. And if you need further proof, just check out their poor rating on charitynavigator dot org. It speaks volumes about their true intentions.

I can't believe how this organization gets away with ruining the reputations of decent and honorable pet owners. They represent anonymous spite complaints without even disclosing the nature of the complaint. And let me tell you, it's not anonymous on their end. They shamelessly visit our vets' offices in front of all the employees and other pet owners. It's just outrageous!

I'm devastated by all of this, and as a senior, my health has taken a dramatic toll. They don't take any of this seriously. These complaints deserve to be treated fairly. And what's even more telling is that the anonymous sources have the choice to reveal themselves. What does that say about their credibility?

I'm a senior woman with a little dog that I loved more than life itself. And now, they have accused me of animal cruelty just because my dog had DM, which is a non-painful disease. It's absolutely heart-wrenching. They have shattered my faith and added to my grief. Shame on them! They're nothing but bullies!

Let's not forget about karma. It has a way of catching up with people like them. And shame on the hospice service that I believe caused all of this pain and suffering for me. I have vets who witnessed my dog, and they can vouch that he wasn't in any pain when they saw him. I spent thousands of dollars on medications and care for my sweet guy, and now I'm being investigated after he's gone. It's just unbelievable!

But you know what? God remembers the bad people and sick power mongers. They won't get away with it forever.

I went to the MSPCA yesterday to find a cat to replace the one I lost last week. She passed away at 19 years of age and had a good life. I'm glad I went on the wrong day because the showroom was closed. I just stumbled upon this website and I'm glad to have found someone who shares my views about the MSPCA. I honestly think they are predatory crooks cashing in on people's love and devotion for their animals. One thing that caught my eye is the many cash registers they have in the lobby - nice and shiny. I tried to adopt a cat there many years ago, but I was discouraged when the bill kept getting higher and higher until it became unaffordable for me. A friend of mine went there about 2 years ago and adopted 2 Poodles for a total bill of $316.00. My point is, you are going in there to save a pet that someone else has abandoned or discarded. You are committing yourself to take care of this animal and take it off their hands. Why do you have to pay so much for them? I just saw an article about the amount of money the executive and staff make at the MSPCA. It is astonishing! People need to take a good look at this agency, they are a for-profit organization and most of us fail to see that. Open your eyes!

MSPCA Angell Memorial Animal Hospital ain't all that great when it comes to caring for your furry friends. They seem to be more concerned about making money than actually helping your animals. It's a real shame, I tell ya.

One time, my poor critter got smacked by a car, and instead of jumping into action, they wanted to see the color of my money first. Can you believe that? So finally, after I paid up, the doctor comes out and tells me my animal needs emergency surgery. Fair enough, I thought. But when I asked about the chances of my critter pullin' through, they didn't have a clue. Can you believe that? The doctor had to go back and talk to the surgeon just to get some answers. It's like they don't even know what's goin' on in their own hospital.

Finally, the doctor comes back with the news that it's a 50/50 shot for my animal to survive and recover. And on top of that, they said the recovery and rehab would be extensive. Well, that's when I knew it was time to make a tough decision. We decided it was best to put my poor critter out of their misery and euthanize 'em. It's a hard choice to make, but I couldn't bear the thought of my animal sufferin' through a miserable and painful life.

But here's the kicker, folks. If I hadn't asked those questions, I would've ended up spendin' thousands of dollars on treatments that might not have even helped. Can you believe that? They would've taken my money and my animal would've suffered for nothin'. It's a darn shame.

The least they could've done is have the surgeon come out and talk to us directly. That way, we could've made a rational decision based on all the information. But no, they wanted us to talk to a financial counselor instead. It's like they care more about the bottom line than the well-being of the animals they're supposed to be helpin'.

And let me tell ya, this ain't the only time I've been burned by Angell Memorial. I've spent thousands of dollars on useless tests just so they can train their residents. It's like they're usin' my money to play doctor. It's downright infuriatin'.

So folks, if you're lookin' for a place that truly cares about your animals and their well-being, I'd suggest lookin' elsewhere. MSPCA Angell Memorial Animal Hospital may have a fancy name, but they sure don't have the heart to match.

Our dog, CJ, has been a previous patient of Dr. Trout with two surgeries in the past, at age 1 and 1.5 years. CJ had some trouble with his shoulders, probably from jumping in and out of our SUV onto the hard pavement. Dr. Trout was able to see CJ sooner than the scheduling staff, which was a relief because CJ had been limping for three whole months and needed to be checked out.

CJ was seen today, Monday, February 133,2023, and both Dr. Trout and Jessica, his assistant, were amazing! The whole staff at Angell, from the friendly folks at the front desk to Dr. Trout himself, who called us twice to give updates on CJ, made us feel really comfortable. They even made follow-up plans, which was great.

We're hopeful that the ultrasound treatment will work and only time will tell. But we know that CJ is in good hands at Angell with Dr. Trout and his team! They really know their stuff and we have complete confidence in them.

One thing we really appreciated about Angell is how clear the follow-up instructions were. It's so important to have clear instructions, and they really nailed it. Every interaction we've had at Angell has been positive, and believe it or not, CJ actually gets excited to go there!

And can we talk about how clean the whole place is? Seriously, it's spotless. It's clear that they take cleanliness seriously, and that's something we really appreciate.

When our daughter expressed interest in becoming a vet, she saw firsthand the amazing care our first dog, Charlie, received at Angell. She saw how dedicated everyone who works there is, and it made a big impression on her.

Overall, we've always had a positive experience at Angell, and we highly recommend Dr. Trout and his team for any orthopedic issues. They really know their stuff and they genuinely care about the well-being of our furry friends.
