I took my vehicle to Mr. Tire for an alignment. After waiting for 90 minutes, the manager came out with an estimate for "other things" they found to repair. The estimate was $1735.65. I declined and took my car to another shop. They did the alignment and checked the "other things" Mr. Tire said I needed. Conclusion:Nothing needed. I then paid another shop to assess what Mr. Tire said I needed. I even typed up a list. Conclusion: Nothing needed or faulty with the "other things" this Mr. Tire said I needed to have done.
I just got off the phone with Customer Service at the Mr. Tire Corporate Headquarters and explained this entire fiasco. I was told that they would contact the manager at this Mr. Tire and tell him to talk to his service technicians. Big deal!
I have spent hundreds, if not thousands of my dollars purchasing new tires and having service performed at Mr. Tire service shops. Not any more. Mr. Tire won't get one more dime of my money.
