Hello, wanted to bring your attention to a situation today, 10/02/25, at your site location at 5366 New Car Dr, Colorado Springs. While going through the wash about midway through the car wash had stopped. It began again and at the end right at the wheel wash it stopped again. At this point I felt the car behind me hit my car. The car wash light had turned yellow and then off, never turned green. I did check to see if I was in neutral, which I was. The attendant came up to me and asked me to drive off. When I advised that the car behind me had rear ended me, he advised me to drive around to the front. I had looked at my bumper which has 2 small dimples. When I walked into the office I was approached by, I’m guessing the manager on duty. He said he had already looked into it and that I had my car in park. He stated he could file a claim but it would be denied. He did show me the video and insisted that it was my fault. He wouldn’t listen to what happened. He didn’t even apologize. I understand you probably have a lot of individuals that try to make a claim, interesting in my situation I didn’t even want to file a claim. His customer service was very poor and only could focus on it was my fault or my vehicle. This has never happened to me at this or any other car wash before. When you take a look at the probability of this particular situation having a hiccup at the car wash would be very low, but it did. Will it occur again, yes because of the probability you just don’t know when. Interesting they didn’t even ask the other driver to drive around. The manager did say I could file a claim with my insurance but it would be denied as well. Based on his statement he has no clue on how insurance works. I’ve been in the insurance industry for 25 years, yes it would be covered however I would pay more in the insurance increases than what the damage was. I canceled my membership because of the customer service I received. There are enough other car washes I can patronize.
