Mingle2 review: Horrid experience

Created an account - uploaded a picture and then spent a bit of time adding a small amount of info - closed down for the evening and then the next day logged in to find my account under review.

All my info was correct and true and the pic I uploaded was of me taken with my mobile device recently - now i suddenly had to do all these weird movements with my face whilst they scanned my faced from every direction - and once this was complete - account went back into review mode and i could do nothing - logged off and went to bed.

I then logged back in tonight and my account is banned for violating their terms!
How? I've not even used the site?
What have I done?
I look exactly like i do in my picture so what has happened?
A little explanation would be nice?
Has my picture been used before? If that is the case I need to know as that is going to cause problems for me...

I can't think of any other kind of issue.
Looking at the current reviews - it looks like it may be doing me a favour as many users seem to face the same issue and others state there are a lot of fake profiles - so I'm not terribly bothered about being banned but I do think it would be decent and somewhat fair to at least provide us with a little more information so that we can try and fix any issues that may not have been caused by us. Blocking and then not engaging is a low class move.

I can't contact customer support as the link just returns me to the account banned page.

Definitely not the correct way to manage a 'quality' service.
