I paid them 5000 AED, and they promised to help me apply for PR in Canada. They assessed my profile and convinced me that I was eligible. But after that, everything turned into a big drama!

I had to wait for more than 3 years for my case to be processed, and in that time, my case manager kept changing without any notification. Every time I asked about it, they gave me different excuses and made me wait even longer.

They claimed that my CV was marketed to Canadian employers, but I never received any call for an interview. When I asked for more details, they ignored me and tried to buy time by saying that their case manager was on an annual vacation or that they were busy dealing with COVID situation.

Eventually, I got fed up and asked for a refund. But what they did was insult to injury. They only gave me a 15% refund, and the rest was eaten up as they made me wait for more than 3 years, for no apparent reason.

I swear to God, if I don't get any support from them within a month, I will ask my lawyer to file a case against them. And if I have to, I will write an article about my experience in khaleej times, so other poor workers like me won't get cheated.

So, I recently took the services of Migration Consultants (+971 ? [protected], Landline No. ***6777, www.migrationsconsultants.com) in Dubai - United Arab Emirates, with the hope of getting assistance with my Canada immigration process. At first, the consultants duly assessed my documents and confirmed my eligibility for the immigration process. I was impressed and hopeful that something good was coming my way. I signed a contract with them, paying AED 4500 in Feb, 2020. I provided all my educational and personal documents, but nothing seemed to happen on their end. I follow-up several times, but there was no progress. It was only until I threatened them with legal action that they started working on my case.
However, they only applied for PNP instead of the Express Entry route, which is the most common and easy way of immigration. When I persistently followed up for months, they later claimed they had also applied for the Express Entry, which turned out to be a lie. They claimed I wasn't eligible for the Express Entry, but my contract clearly stated they would handle all necessary applications I'm eligible for. They refused to refund my money despite their numerous breaches of our agreement.
There were several instances of contract violations. They claimed to have filled five provincial applications but only submitted three, which was fraudulent. They didn't create a resume as agreed, and it took months for them to respond to my emails. They were meant to respond within a day, but that was never the case. They didn't provide me with proactive information about passport expiry dates and didn't work on finding me the best employer and role. They also didn't submit my complete case to the skill assessment body, didn't research or explain immigration law changes, and didn't provide employment preparation solutions. They didn't advise me on the latest rules, didn't provide professional guidance on intended occupation, and didn't handle all correspondence as agreed.
The only positive thing worth mentioning about Migration Consultants is their marketing skills. They use sweet talks and false reviews to trap unsuspecting customers. They, however, lack knowledge and expertise in the immigration process and take no action once they receive your money. They only responded after weeks or months of repeated follow-ups and threats of legal action. I wouldn't recommend anyone to pay them.

I just wanted them to help me with WES certification/attestation of my degrees and also with submitting some applications for the PNP program.
