I have two charges for $25.00 & 5 charges of$1.00. I was told these are for games & ipod music. I have never ordered from this company. Don't know how they got my card number. I am 66yrs old these things are of no interest to me.Don't own an ipod or know how to work one.I was told that they could not find my card number. Then how did I get charged? I just want my money back, $55.00. Thank you

I have been charged $14.95 per month for last two months. I have called american express few times and they are not ready to cancel the charges. I have called Microsoft [protected] /[protected]/[protected] and after going in circles for atleats 1 hour i was told that i should have my orignal credit card # which i have used in past to register the account. I told them i dont have it but they just not ready to listen. Then i asked them atleast not to charge and again tehy say they cannot do it.

It seems to me that just don't give your credit card to microsoft and if you make sure you are ready to cancel the credit card

Please do not order anything from this company. It is a scam. The software they are supposedly selling will not download. I was very leary of making this purchase with them and my hesitation has proven correct. Also, I found out that all I had to do was contact Microsoft and they would send me a replacement disk for a fraction of the cost of the software. I have repeatedly asked this company to give me a refund and they refuse. Do not do business with this company? I don't even know who they are. I usually don't do business with a company that doesn't list a phone number there they can be contacted.

In 2000 we signed up for Microsoft's bCentral banner ad exchange program. The banner exchange program was na ad exchange where for every 2 Microsoft banner ads that displayed on our websites, Microsoft agreed to give us 1 banner ad on their websites. When we signed up the terms of the program stated that banner adds accrued never expired. I bought xbox live for my step son last year for christmas! Bought him one year for xbox live! Well in may I got a charge on my credit card for $6.50. Then in june I got two charges one $6.50 & 12.50. And for July I got three charges $6.25 twice & one for $12.50.
And then when I call them they wont tell me what the charges are for.

Beware of the new download pop-up for Internet Explorer 8. Once you download it to your computer, the pop-ups begin. Even our pop up blocker gets bypassed. With all the money Microsoft has, you would think they would work the bugs out of their products before they put them on the market.

This company keeps withdrawing money from my checking acct. every month and I dont know how to stop it, I dont even know what its from

I bought the game 'chronicles of riddick', after playing on the game a few times and i have now got a laser burn not around the disc but across it! the game will now not play at all! and after paying £40 for this game, i took it back to the shop where i purchased the game and theres nothing they can do, and microsoft customer service is a waste of time as you get passed to different people and nothing gets done, i would like to know if anyone can suggest anything else, as i dont want to buy another game and the same thing happen again. On the 24th of May I was informed that my I no longer had access to my Hotmail account as I had violated the Terms of Use - please...I wouldn't evenknow how! I was instructed to click on an online link and complete the form and the matter will be investigated. Small problem - there is no such link! When you then go directly to the Windows Live help page you are instructed to send an error message to [protected]@hotmail.com and the abuse team will deal with the matter. 24 hours later you receive a very nice automated reply and that's it... Nothing happens. When I enquired again I was told a)there is a backlog, I should wait and b)I should send another error message to the abuse team. This has now been going on for 6 weeks. I have no access to my e-mail. IT seems to also be a problem for a lot of other hotmail users as some have been waiting for 6 months. I mean really - we use these e-mail accounts for work. Some people have already lost a lot of money, clients etc. And still Microsoft is not providing any service. Does a company the size of Microsoft honestly not have the manpower to sort out matters that are this serious. Perhaps they should stop adding fnacy little nice thingies to the msn homepage and concentrate on providing us with some basic service.

My xbox got the red rings about a year after purchase. I took out the extra warranty so I was able to return it to them without paying but they sent me back a refurbished unit which wouldn't turn on at all. Well to make a long story short, I've sent back 4 Xboxes in 1 yr. Each time they sent me a refurbished one and the red ring came back within days. I called and supposedly spoke to a supervisor and told her I do not want refurbished units anymore and to send me a new one. She said they can't send me a new one until I returned the unit over 4x. Well, the 4th unit did not work and now they will not replace it.

Bill Gates should be made aware that this is a piece of crap. If you want to send a petition, count me in!

This is the scam of all scams done by, you said it; MICROSOFT.
They get these kids to create "gamer tags"...of which, often many are created.
So, not only do you see the fee for 1 account on your credit card...you see several.

So, the kids DELETE their profile, removing the credit card information. But, SURPRISE...you still get billed.
You have TO CALL them and do it over the phone. The problem with this is that you get a representative in INDIA who barely speaks ENGLISH. They ask you about 10 questions...and if you are unable to get one of them right, THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO. My son created an account ages ago, has been trying to cancel it for months. Finally, today, I had had enough and got on the phone. I don't know his gamer-tag (he forgets it), I don't even know what phone number he provided. We have had several cel phone numbers since he got the account. So, answering the following questions isn't enough: VISA NUMBER, VISA CARD HOLDER NAME, BILLING ADDRESS - hmm, sounds like it should be enough to me. So, the representative in INDIA told me that the only thing left to do was to call VISA and have them stop the payments from their end. That is absolutely ridiculous. Come on MICROSOFT. Get your act together. Hire some North Americans (yes, this is a recession) and figure this out. I am sure that I am not the only parent out there with this issue. (I have had 4 accounts being billed to my credit cards...)
I support Microsoft in many ways. I have paid them a lot of money in the past - I own a private school with 40 windows licenses...microsoft office licenses...and now, this? They won't stop a $10.16 recurring charge on my credit card? COME ON!
