Short story, don't buy from Mako Appliance And Mattress. They messed up my fridge even more when they brought it. It was already scratched and dented, but they made it worse. They wouldn't give me a discount or refund, but they said they'd extend the warranty. They never gave me proof though and they won't answer my calls, texts, or emails. The manager and his family who work there are no help at all.

I bought a washer and dryer from Mako Appliance And Mattress. It's only been two months and my washer is already leaking. They had to replace my dryer before because the hearing element went out. I've been trying to call them but no one is answering the phone or the voicemail. It's frustrating that they sell products that don't work and won't even answer the phone to fix the problem.

I got a washer and dryer from Mako Appliance And Mattress in London KY last week. They got signs all over the place saying that everything is checked by a certified mechanic, but I don't think that's true because they didn't work from the start! I told them to come get them and bring me a set that's no more than $450. But then the owner called me and said I gotta keep them! What kinda business is this? They won't let me trade it in even though I've only had it for a week and it's never worked once! I ain't keeping these things and I ain't paying for them either.

Got a fridge from Mako Appliance And Mattress on June 27th. Waited 2 weeks for it to come. Freezer don't work. Can't get no one to fix it. They said the "salespersons" mom died and the delivery guy was the sales lady's boyfriend. So, it didn't come on July 2nd like they said. It came on July 8th. No instructions on how to use it. Freezer still don't work. On Tuesday July 14th, they said a repairman was coming but then they said they was bringing me a different fridge. They said the truck was broke down and it was at a repair shop off of New Circle Rd, which is where my husband works. But it wasn't there. I done took 4 days off work and still getting excuses. Today they gotta go to southern KY for a delivery?

We bought a fridge from MAKO appliances and they were supposed to deliver it on 10/12 after 3pm. But they didn't show up and we didn't hear anything from them. So, I called them and they said they had a flat tire and couldn't deliver that day. They said they could deliver on 10/13 in the late afternoon. They finally delivered the fridge to our driveway at around 1:30 pm without telling us anything. They left a note saying they would deliver it inside later because their van was broken down. After trying to call them multiple times, they said they had KU lines on the truck and would deliver it later. They finally showed up at our house at around 4:45 pm without telling us when they would come. I talked to the regional manager and he said we needed someone there ASAP to let them in. But we couldn't be home at that time because we had other plans and they didn't give us any notice. He said there would be no refunds. Later, they came back when I was home, but they didn't tell me they were there. They loaded the fridge onto the van with no refund and now they're not answering our calls.

I buy washer & dryer. They no work, no match, no answer. Can't get refund, fix or exchange. Manager show picture, say washer match dryer. But it no work, no match, paint peeling & corrosion, no spin out. Have to wring out by hand. Try to contact 5xs, manager answer say exchange Monday or Tuesday. Stay home, no call, nobody come. Can't get in contact. Business do this to customer, not right. Try to contact since delivered, email, call, text, website msgs. Told have warranty, but not true, can't start warranty. Can't lose $700, deceived, lied to & ignored. Terrible reviews, wish I see before.

I went to Mako Appliance And Mattress and had a salesperson named ***. They promised me a delivery on Wednesday but didn't communicate with me and didn't deliver my appliances. When I asked for a refund, they refused. I bought the appliances on Monday 10/12 and told *** that I needed them delivered on Wednesday 10/14. She said it wouldn't be a problem and put me on the schedule for 4-6pm. She told me that the delivery drivers would pass by my house on their way to Danville to clock out. I told her that I had no days off for two weeks except for Wednesday and she said it was okay. On Wednesday, I waited and waited but didn't hear anything. I messaged *** and she finally told me that they were running behind. She said they might be able to deliver on Friday, but that wouldn't work for me because I had no days off. I told her that I needed the appliances that night and that I was guaranteed delivery on Wednesday. She said okay, but I didn't hear from her again until 8:15pm when I messaged her for the second time. She said the delivery drivers had already clocked out, which meant they didn't even have my products on their truck. She had lied to me the entire time. I asked for a refund, but she said no refunds were available according to my invoice. I know that's true, but my invoice also said delivery on Wednesday. I'm not asking for a refund because of buyer's remorse. I want a refund because I was lied to about delivery, didn't get what I was promised, had poor communication and customer service, and couldn't get what I paid for. This is not a good way to do business!
