Friday September 1, 2023 my delivery driver was delivering a part to Maaco Truck at 395A Clark Street, Keyport, NJ 07735. We deliver for Fred Beans in Doylestown. While making his delivery his truck was parked, when he was inside the building a very large yellow truck, tag number: XNG-N63 backed into my truck and cause significant damage to the hood. The driver would not show my employee his license or his insurance information. During the commotion, the manager (Joe Congista) came outside to see what was going on, my driver told him what happened, his driver admitted that he backed into my truck. I spoke with Joe and said I was going to call the Police, he said that wasn't necessary and that he would take care of the damages to my truck. I asked for their insurance information, again he said not to worry about it, they would pay for the damages and I was to get an estimate for him. The next day my driver took the truck to a body shop to get an estimate. This estimate was faxed to me, I scanned it and emailed it to Joe at Maaco. He called and accused me of cheating him because there was prior damage included on this estimate. This was an oversight on my part because, I didn't look at it before I emailed it. He was correct about the prior damage. He said it didn't matter anyway because he spoke to the owner and they both agreed that they were not going to pay for any damages anyway on my van, that I could get the proper estimate and he would speak with the owner again but he didn't think they would. I immediately got a new estimate and re-sent it. Joe then called me back and said the part my driver was delivering wasn't a part they ordered and he had refused it, because he refused it our driver should not have been there anyway so they were not going to pay for the damages their truck caused to my vehicle. I purposely did not call the Police because Joe Congista (not sure of the spelling) assured me they would take care of it because he didn't want to go through the insurance company. I had to get my truck repaired and get it on the road. I paid $2,400.00 for a new hood, hinges, striker and latch, had it painted and put back on the truck. Sept 6th our truck was back on the road.

Desired outcome: I would like to be reimbursed the $2,400.00 I paid out of pocket to have my truck fixed that Joe assured me he would take care of and now refuses to do so.
