I have been using Lume body deodorant for about 1-2 months. On August 23 at night I started having urinary problems burning, excessive. urinating every hour

becoming more uncomfortable each hour, sweats and chills.

On August 24 I went to Urgent Care, where at first they could not decide whether it was a kidney stone or uti or vaginitis, so they treated me for all.

By August 25 my back pain started sample for vaginitis was neg, By August 26

I was in excruciating back pain and was positive it was a kidney stone.

I ended in the ER and they did a CT with and without contrast and there was no

stone, They told me it was a very bad UTI with extreme bladder spasms.

I am retired so the only bathroom I have used during that time was my own and my physicians thought it was from the Lume whole body deodorant unscented. So now I end up with an Urgent care bill and an ER visit bill with the bill for the CT scan. I feel I should be reimbursed for my costs and it needs to be known not to use it in the vaginia or anus becauses that is what it causes.

Sincerely

Susan Westendorf

I have had similar experiences as Susan Westendorf. Before going to work I would apply the cream just above the private area, after a few weeks I started feeling like my bones were coming apart like before you have a baby and no way am I pregnant. I've stopped using the cream in that area but still have the pain like my bones are coming apart but also have to goto the bathroom alot and alot of pain in my bladder or maybe uterus area. I've also noticed that applying the cream under the arm burns.

I loved this product, but I'm afraid of the issues that it is causing me. I work in a factory full time and now I have limited mobility because of the pain. Waiting to see my gynecologist for a checkup now.

I hope this helps someone. Like I said, I loved the product but can't deal with the problems it's causing.

You aren't supposed to put it inside your vagina and anus. Just around.
