Customer service
Non existent customer service! Tried to ask why one item on my order was not being processed, as it was delaying my order being shipped.
Told it was because of being 'very busy'
I asked for delayed item to be removed from my order so rest of items could be shipped. Next day went to my account and see my complete order of 14 items were cancelled! To add insult to injury, I have to wait 29 days for refund! 🤨

This company is extremely dishonest. The sender is a P.O. Box in Chullora, NSW, Australia.
I have encountered dishonesty issues with a company called JustFashions New from the Chullora address.
I want to warn all unsuspecting customers to be extremely wary of these two companies.
Desired outcome: I wish the amount charged for the second sale item to be refunded to my account. Or, subsequently send me the second garment which was ordered online.

Good morning Light in the box, Yesterday I was told that my order was shipped with counterfeit postage and it could not be delivered. Also, I was told the package was being held at the post office and it would be sent back to the sender. Yesterday, I did receive my order from the Post Office. The jacket that I ordered was damage with tear in the front of the jacket. Also, the jacket had some black grease or glue in the shipping package it was shipped in. I order the jacket for my vacation May 12th thru the 20th, 2023. Please send me another jacket as soon as possible and a return label to me so I could return the damage jacket. I will be leaving on Friday morning for my vacation, and I would greatly appreciate if you would expedite my new order. If you're not able to provide me with my order before I leave on the 12th of May. I would be able to provide you with address for my vacation and maybe you would be able to ship it there Federal Express or UPS overnight services.

Clothing
I ordered a dress advertised as made of linen. The picture showed a dress with the creases you see on linen garments. The item received was a very cheap woven polyester material, poorly made, and not as pictured.
When I tried to make the return on the website, it kept telling me to download the app on my phone. Given the sleazy nature of the whole process, I would not do that.
Finally I found a way to get around that and I filed for a return on the website. I had to provide a photo and description. (As if they don't know the material and the dress description don't match.) The request was acknowledged as received on screen and they promised to send email within 24 hours. Never received an email. When I tried to re-start the return process, got denied with various excuses - you already filed for a return or you waited too long to request a return.
Do not waste your money. This is not really a legitimate site, despite claims it is.

Abs stimulator, blue, black.
On April the 18, 2023, I placed an order from light in the box, order number [protected]. The item was an abs stimulator, in blue and black. It was for sale for €28.99. After taxes it was €37.99. This amount was taken from my PayPal account and the date of may 5th was given for delivery.. The tracking number I was given was YT2311221266030082. I have not received my purchase although the tracking app says it was received.. I have had someone at my home waiting to receive this purchase however nothing has still arrived... I am bitterly disappointed with this service and request my money back or my item ASAP..

I am writing this on behalf of the person that ordered and have given me permission to do so. I ordered a wedding guest suit of this website. I want to return an item when I’ve emailed the company they have said that I cannot return the item as it was specifically made for the order this isn’t stated in your policy I have throughly read though it. Clothing order
Light-in-the-Box left me in the DARK. I foolishly ordered from this company before checking reviews or with the BBB. Out of the 12 clothing items I received, only 2 are worth keeping. And 2 other items were in the package that were a size small. I would NEVER order a SMALL ANYTHING ! I'm a Midwestern meat & potatoes girl. Now I'm trying to return the items, and I'm jumping through hoops. They will NOT tell you where to send the returns unless they "approve" your returns and send you some sort of "ticket". And to "earn" a ticket, they expect you to measure everything and send THEM the measurements. Shouldn't THEY KNOW the measurements of the garments THEY supposedly make. How would you measure bike shorts with the crotch stuffed with 3 inches of foam. What a joke ! And I'm not about to send MY personal measurements out on the www ! Ordered a pair of shoes. Arrived and beautiful but too small. There is nowhere on the site that will give me a returns slip. When I go on to customer services on their site it tells me they cannot refund dresses that have been custom made. I have tried to tell them it is not a dress it is a pair of shoes that were not customer made but are too small. I am even happy to have them replaced with a bigger size. But it then blocks you off

Dress and Bluetooth speaker
I'm trying to return a dress I bought that is nothing like the picture on your website. I keep getting messages telling me I've got customer service messages but it won't let me open the message so I can't see what they say.
I've also bought a Bluetooth speaker for the TV, but can't make it work as the instructions are in Chinese and the woman speaking when I switch it on is talking Chinese, I am English and don't read or speak Chinese! So I can't get it to work, how am I supposed to be able to set it up with no instructions that I can understand in my own language?!
This is very bad customer service and I'm not pleased at all. Feed up of wasting my money on this site! Won't be using it again!

I have received my parcel today of 5 items, all of which I am extremely disappointed with. Nothing fits properly or well and the fabric which was advertised as linen, definitely is not, being of very poor, thin quality.
There is no invoice or returns ticket in the parcel and I have found it impossible to raise one on line, having gone round and round in circles for the last hour, even when installing the app.
It is completely unacceptable to sell inferior goods and the to not offer reasonable means for a refund.

The return
I received my dress on 2 May 2023. On 3 May 2023, I tried on the dress and found that the bust area was so small I couldn't even get it to go across my breasts. I notified the company immediately only to receive a request that I take my measurements and pictures to prove it didn't fit! I was outraged that they believe I owe that proof after just requesting to return 1 day after receipt. This is not a custom made dress!

Returns procedure
I ordered a blue cotton sleeveless dress from Lightinthebox, I am a standard 18, when it arrived it was just too small all over so I needed to return it.
I was told to get a refund, I would have to take photos showing a tape measure on the dress to prove I had ordered the wrong size. They would decide if I would get a refund if not I could keep the dress that didn’t fit and get a 50% credit note or a 30% cash back which would be put on my account, I don’t have one, and I could transfer it out.
All this took about 10 emails and about a week, surely like every other company I have dealt with my word should be taken that the dress didn’t fit and a full refund made.
This is totally unacceptable.

On April 5, 2023 I ordered 5 dresses. I never received a confirmation email about my order. I noticed that PayPal paid $123.00 to Light In a Box for my order. I tried contacting this company many many times. When I would try to sign in the password I saved would not be accepted. So I selected the forgot password option. A message came up that a email would be sent to me to reset my password. No email came so I tried again and again and again. Never did I receive a reset email. Without signing in I could not communicate with them. So I contacted PayPal about my problem and they contacted the company. I have received the dresses. No invoice in the packages and no email from this company. Now I need to return them because the quality is very poor and the fit is off. But I once again cannot connect to their website because I have no password. I MUST have their okay to send them back. What a terrible mistake doing business with this company. If you can please help me. Thank you.

I've returned six shirts and one pair trainers back to LightInTheBox warehouse at Unit4, Lichfield Road by Royal Mail Special Recorded Delivery and a recorded letter. I've also sent two letters by recorded delivery to LITB office at Tottenham Court Road, London claiming refund due. I've had no reply, correspondence or acknowledgement from them whatsoever.I have all RM post receipts, dates, customer ref number all I should need for a due claim. I want them to sort this before I apply to my bank for fraud claim. I writen to orgs like Pissed customer.com. I await your notice and reply please.

The quality of a dress I purchased and their limited return policy
I purchased a dress the end of last month. I was very disappointed because it seemed much more like a house dress/nightgown than something I would wear to some place. Photos can't tell you how the material feels. I don't remember seeing the 7 day return policy but I understand the cost to return it would be very high. No, I will never purchase anything from them again no matter how nice it looks in the photo. Realistically, 7 days is not much time and should be shown prominently in their advertisements.

I ordered 2 swimming costumes of different sizes, as they said I could return one in 7 days no questions. What they didn't say was that I had to return it to CHINA, and pay the postage myself (cheapest cost is £14 for this package. This is after paying £8 for postage of 2 very light items in the first place. So my £23 swim costume will now have cost £45. This is a scam.

I ordered a bikini bathing suit in a size small, which, according to their size chart, should have fit. It was way bigger than a small. I tried to return the item within 7 days as their policy states but I couldn't get the "return or exchange" option to come it so I looked up the return address, and sent the bathing suit along with a letter explaining the issue and a copy of the page on their website that wouldn't bring up the "return or exchange" option to: 4970 Joule St., Reno, NV 89502. I paid the postage of $5.85. This was done on 4/18/23. On 4/26, I got the package back with the following label:

I placed an order with them for daughters prom dress this pass Sunday within 20 minutes of placing the order we canceled the order because it would not come on time….
