Liberty Home Guard review: Worst home warranty company I have ever used in over a decade

I have used a home warranty for 12-15 years. I have had this company for a little over a year. I will never use them again. Almost all of my appliances were excluded as they were considered "upgrades" under the policy. And to get the appliance covered you had to pay an upgrade fee of 150-200. You then had to pay the one time fee to come diagnose the problem. This was another 100. Once there was a diagnosis, the company would deny the claim for very stupid reasons. And once there was a denial, there was no supervisor to oversee the denial or check this entire process. Most of the claims throughout the year were denied. It was a complete waste of over 1000. dollars. They took the premiums and upgrade fees/diagnosis fees and rarely (maybe one claim) paid out. They then had the audacity to claim that they were the "best home warranty" on the market?! And the fact that they are not BBB accredited should be a RED FLAG! Most reputable home warranty companies are BBB rated. I am at the end of my contract and have nothing to lose/gain by rating this company. I am writing this as a warning to others.
