I have had a home warranty on our home for over a decade. This last year, I tried Liberty home guard; they claimed they were voted the best home warranty due to various ratings. I called for a few appliances and they basically told me that my appliances were not covered by contract and they were considered "upgraded" appliances. And in order to have them covered, I would have to upgrade them for approx. 150-200. Thus, after paying an upgrade fee for several appliances, I paid the 100. service fee. I was then told (for various nonsensical reasons) that the units were not covered. Thus, they would pay nothing. I probably paid close to 1500. to this company to basically get nothing in return. In over a decade, this is the WORST home warranty company I have ever used. Later, I asked to speak to a manager, and I was told no manager was available: there is also no claims resolution department. Lastly, this company is not under the BBB-This should be a RED FLAG!
Recommendation: Stay clear of this company. You will pay your premium and get NOTHING. Save your money and buy a new appliance instead....
