Liberty Home Guard solicited to sell me a policy to cover my home appliances. They used the BBB rating to assure that they are the best in the business. They assured me that 100% of my appliances would be fully covered with repair or replacement. I never received a written policy from them. After paying several months I called today, Thursday November 10, 2022. I was advised by the person that answered the phone that my washing machine not spinning/ draining was not covered in an exclusion to a policy that I had not received. The salesman specifically said that everything was covered. I stated that I was defrauded and wanted my payments refunded and the policy canceled. She said that she couldn’t do that but would refer it for consideration. I have definitely been defrauded and want help with this company that says they are 100% with the BBB.
That's what they told use about our appliances as well. We were never told that high end appliances were not covered. A washing machine that was replaced was only given a $150 credit (that's after I paid a $70 service fee, so net of $80).
