My daughter lay byed a matress, kitchen unit and assembled wardrobe from lewis in harrison street jhb. After paying the price in full the goods was delivered 10/june 2017.The kitchen unit was still wrapped when the guys offloaded and we never opened to check so later on i opened it to put in inside my house only to find the glass of the cupboard was broken.I wanted to report it immediately but seeing that the driver was gone, and the shop probably closed i decided to leave it till monday.I then contacted the salesman brian but their lines was not working, on tuesday was still the same problem until i eventually contacted the head office who in return transfered me to the branch.I spoke to brian but said it was impossible that they can deliver a broken cupboard.I advised him to speak to the driver and he promised to call back.I didnt hear from him so i called him wednesday 14/06/2017 and told him i took a picture then he said theres nothing he can say.I then called the headoffice and asked to speak to the manager and the lady at reception told me he will call back after i explained what happened [protected])i didnt hear from the manager so on thursday 15/06/2017 i contacted the head office again and asked to speak to the manager the lady said the manager said they spoke to the driver and told him(the driver) he must pay for the broken glass. And thats the end of it i dont hear anything from them + there are beams thats suppose to come whre the handles fit i also told them theres supposde to be 8 beams but there was only 1.Its like they not interested to sort this thing out my daughters name is phyllis connies address 14 koper street eldorado park
