defective material
A few months ago I purchased several pair of levis 505 from sears in texas city for my husband. He has only worn them for a few months and after washings we started noticing holes and slices in material... Like they were sliced with a razor blade and little holes as if they were shot with buckshot. We didnt think too much when this happened to the first pair (thinking maybe some chemical got on them or something), but now two other pairs have had this happen to them. It cannot be the washer or drying I am using as none of our other clothes have been damage. I am curious if this has happened to any other levis customers. Thanks.

My son-in-law has had 10 to 12 pairs of Levi jeans that he sends to me to repair because the back pockets keep ripping.
This has to be a defect in the material that Levi uses. I end up repairing the pockets and then sewing a complete new piece of material inside the jeans from pocket seam to pocket seam that way it reinforces the seat!
Ordered jeans and they sent me someone else's order. They wanted to treat it as if I ordered the wrong thing and it would not even let me do that. Their customer service (which was not in the US) finally just hung up, was absolutely no help. Completely dissatisfied, will never purchase any of their products again.
The last 4 pairs of 550 2022/2023 $50 38/34 the belt loops pulled loose after very little wearing. It is the 2 that do not attach to the other seam area. They need to add reinforcement to those area. Looks like this issue has been going on for years by all of the comments.

Ripped by back pockets within 2 months
about 1 month ago i bought 2 pair of levi strauss signature gold. they both rip ou t 1 in the by the zipper and the other by the back pocket i did not need the reciet
after they fit i throw it out . don't worry i just aint going to buy your levi jeans again and will let people know what kind the junk you are selling !
I have been a long customer of Levis 505 jeans. I have several pairs that the beltloops have come loose at the bottom of the loop. I have to tuck the broken loop under my belt. I can say I'm very unhappy with Levis jeans.
I have two pair of Levi 505 jeans, the fabric on both has split on the left side of the seat from the top of the pocket to a few inches below the pocket. These jeans were purchased at Kohls less than a year ago and have only been worn 4-5 times.
i had 3 pair of levi 505 2 pair ripped by the left rear pocket and the other pair ripped left side of zipper. All rips here about 4 inches .
i am very unhappy with these jeans.
