Dear Lenovo Support Team,
I am writing to seek urgent technical assistance regarding my Lenovo Legion 5 (Ryzen 7 7840H, purchased from China). I am currently facing a serious issue while using HDMI capture cards for live streaming.
Issue Details:
- Laptop Model: Lenovo Legion 5 (Ryzen 7 7840H)
- Purchased from: China (BDT 98,000)
- Problem: The laptop only supports a maximum of 2 HDMI capture cards at a time. Even after multiple attempts, I was only able to connect 3 capture cards once using a switch, but normally the system refuses to detect more than 2 devices.
- Requirement: For my professional live streaming setup, I need at least 4 capture cards to work simultaneously.
What I Have Tried:
- Different capture card brands and models.
- USB 3.0 and USB-C ports.
- Wireless HDMI extender (with dual output) setup.
- Updated drivers and BIOS.
Unfortunately, the limitation still persists.
Request:
1. Is there any hardware limitation on the Lenovo Legion 5 that prevents more than 2 capture cards from working?
2. Is there any driver/BIOS update or workaround that can fix this issue?
3. If not, can you suggest an alternative Lenovo laptop or setup that fully supports multiple HDMI capture cards (minimum 4)?
I would highly appreciate your urgent response, as this is directly impacting my business.
Best regards,
Md Minhazul Islam
