Krispy Kreme ® Remind customers to use it

I love the app, but the employees rush check out and NEVER ask if you have the rewards program. I spent over $100 once and they said, “Oh, sorry, we’ll catch it next time. Ummmm no, you need to fix it now. That’s 2 dozen free donuts I would be giving up. Look KK already closed once in Billings, let’s not make it twice over crappy service. Finally a manager said, “Mam,
I will fix it for you this time, but it’s not
our job to ask. Well gee wiz gomer pike even Starbucks and JCP ask you if your a reward member. Hello, it keeps people
coming back. Remember KK donuts
aren’t a necessity. If I get that service again I will go to my local bakery, they sell bread, croissants, rolls, oh and donuts!
Please be kind, and rewind the attitudes!
Take a lesson from Starbucks,
I waste $17 a day there, and I don’t care because they respect me.

Krispy Kreme ® Free doughnut

How do you get the free doughnut for downloading app ? I don't see a message or a link to send messages. The card seemed like fun until I started reading the negative reviews. I probably just old and slow at figuring out the app . I suppose the best option is to physically walk in the store and interact verbally with the employees and maybe a fellow customer or two. Shouldn't expect anything for free because they are in business to earn money to support their families. I would prefer to not be teased with a free doughnut if I download the app but after I download the app I search for the free doughnut but cannot find it . Thank you anyway KK for making the best doughnuts I've ever tasted! I hope you don't let it go to your head and start treating customers poorly because we will take abuse to just get a hot fresh now doughnut! .

Krispy Kreme ® Failed purchase

Today my wife noticed an in-app offer for $1 be sweet dozen with purchase of a dozen and she had a $15 gift card; so I downloaded this app and tried to schedule a purchase to pickup after my toddler’s swim lesson. I ordered two dozen of the be sweet and it came up to $13 ($12 + $1), but there is no place to pay with a gift card in this app! So, I had to go down to order in the drive-up, but the price came out to $15.49 because the cashier said there was no price for the be sweet dozen at $12 which I showed her in the app. Then, she said different stores have different prices, but it’s not a store-based thing because I was ordering pickup in the app. Anyway, I wasn’t going to get anywhere arguing with a teenager; so I paid the extra 49 cents, but I’m disappointed with my experience, and to top it off, we didn’t even get the happy face donut!

Krispy Kreme ® Waiting for a fix!

Just as everyone else having issues after this forced update over the weekend, I can’t log into my old account that had over 4,000 points! I spent several hours trying to reset the password until I saw all the recent reviews and realized that the problem wasn’t on my end, so I left it alone patiently waiting for a fix. I know my points are OK for now when I tried using my registered phone number in a store, but I have no control over how my points are being applied - the system is trying to give me “free stuff” arbitrarily and not when I wanted to redeem the points, like in the past. Very frustrating! The old app worked like a charm and the new rewards system is not better in any way.

Please fix this problem and send out an update confirming the issue is being resolved, so people stop wasting their time and getting frustrated for no reason!

Krispy Kreme ® Can’t place orders

There’s a menu, which shows all their products, and tells you all about them, but doesn’t let you place an order. The only thing you can actually do with the app, is pay for your purchase at a Krispy Kreme Store, if the store has the scanner, and it works. To do this, you have to enter your credit card information, manually, because it won’t scan your card. Then you have to transfer funds from your card to the app. Then when the cashier rings up your order, you hold your phone under the store’s scanner, and it takes the money. It keeps track of your purchases, so you can collect rewards. Once you load money from your credit onto the app, you can’t get it back out. You can only use it to buy doughnuts, and only if the store has the scanner. Instead of making purchasing their products easier, the app makes it more complicated. Sort of defeats the purpose.

Krispy Kreme ® Fails every time

This app has a fatal bug. I’d give it zero stars if I could. When I try to sign in, it says my credentials are invalid. When I try to reset my password, it says I previously signed in with Facebook. When I try to sign in with Facebook, it says it can’t find my account. This is an endless circle, and I am not able to log in on the app or website. I tried contacting them through their contact form, but it always makes me include a store location (even though this error is not tied to a specific store). A phone call led me through a series of voice messages and never to a live person, and there also was no chat box. Sometime later, after leaving a comment to who knows who, they sent a coupon in the mail with no return address so that I could write back. It is for a free doughnut for my troubles, but they never addressed the problem! I still cannot log in anywhere.

Krispy Kreme ® Rewards Issue

I filled out the information for the Rewards Program and I noticed I want given an option to put my birthday. I called the number, but it was giving me all types of options other than to talk to a Customer Representative for the app or anything. So, I emailed them and was given an apology about people not receiving their points. I made sure to be clear and concise when explaining my issue and was given an irrelevant reason. I ended waiting about 6 days to see if they at least changed it for me or would contact me back, but nothing. I emailed them again and it's been 6 more days and no response. Very unprofessional on their part and clearly they do not care about others. It seems silly to be upset about this, but I have been extremely patient about this and the whole experience has deter me from ever going to any Krispy Kreme or products as a first time consumer of the brand.

Notifications are now appearing but inconsistent.
Would like to see:
Ability to add Gift Cards & reload the gift card via the app
Ability to update account profile information (Birthday)

Really nice app. Never encounter an issue while using it. But what happened to the e-club newsletter? Someone I know gets the newsletters about different promotions (I’ve never received), but not the in app notifications. I’ve noticed lately the in app notifications aren’t working like before when I get a new “message.” Although my alerts are on for the app.

Would like to see:
Apple Pay introduced for reloading money on the app
Ability to update account profile information (Birthday)

Krispy Kreme ® Horrible

We came and there were no doughnuts except the pink and chocolate sprinkles. We were going to get kreme doughnuts but then so random stupid person came and took all of them. There was a coupon in the app that said buy a dozen and get another glazed dozen free. We were going to get that but then it didn't go through. We asked for the manager and see of he could do something, but the worker said ”the local manager couldn't do anything”. The worker didn't do anything, acted like he didn't care, and kept on pretending to act like he cared by saying ”sorry”. To top off this horrible event I scanned my app 5 times to get the rewards the worker even said: ”ok, it scanned”. However, on the receipt, it doesn't have my app name(so it didn't scan) and I didn't get the rewards. Never trust the workers, the Krispy Kreme app, and the Krispy Kreme store. Never coming back again, the app offers are fake news, I'm telling everyone I know( which is a lot of people) to never go again.

Krispy Kreme ® App Broke

We Love the doughnuts… but your app bites! I logged in using saved password on keychain. I tried manually entering info, I deleted and reinstalled the app, powered off my iPhone and restarted. I stood on one foot and made an antenna from foil… ( ok I didn’t do that one, but you get the drift.) it says the credentials are invalid, it won’t send me a verification. It will not let me make a new account with same email because apparently it’s only useless when you try to make a different account. I tried to login from FB and it says it’s unavailable… someone out there in donut land does not want me to order donuts… so… When you fix the app… we’ll get donuts! ( at least our new years resolutions are safe until whenever your IT people figure out how to make the app work. ( btw I’m on iPhone iOS 15.3.1 Also.. my birthday was Jan 15… and I did not get my birthday donuts! Maybe at least the app will work soon?!?!? It’d be awesome if something went right this year! Thanks for letting me vent…

Krispy Kreme ® Good but

Ok so I love your doughnuts so I asked my mom if she could Order some and she said yes so she ordered and she ordered herself two doughnuts and we went there and she didn’t get her doughnuts that she Deserves because she works so hard she doesn’t have a job because my grandma and grandpa and one of my uncles and my grandma goes to work and my uncle my uncle drives himself so work and my grandpa drives my grandma to work and my mommy has to clean feed me play with me cook food feed my pets take care of our foster puppies I’m public home schooled so she had to log me on every day almost and she doesn’t even get 2 dumb doughnuts give and last time she ordered she didn’t get her doughnut treat my mom good you mean brats I can’t believe I like you stupid doughnuts I should go to dunking doughnuts or somewhere else that treats my mom hood oh and you’re so expensive it’s 25 dumb dollars to order doughnuts and 13 dollars to go on the store how awfully mean you are to people I love my mom your brats I hate you

Krispy Kreme ® The app just keeps kicking me out

I wish I could get into the Krispy Kreme App. I tried everything for the last month or 2. Every time I log in the app logs me out. I have a iPone 8. I event took the app off my phone and tried re-logging back in. Each time I try it kicks me off the app when I click log in.

Luckily each time I have gone in the last two months Krispy Kreme has been able to determine my account by my phone number. But it would be nice to be able to access the app like I used to to see what rewards, offers are available after two months.

I like what it does offer with a dozen donuts or regular donuts.

I wish there different rewards like if you buy mini donuts or buying drinks besides coffee. My family really does not drink much coffee and we may visit the restaurant normally in the afternoon.

I also wish there was a Krispy Kreme closer to Amelia Island or in NASSAU County rather than a Dunkin’ Doughnuts or driving all the way to Jacksonville. There is not many breakfast restaurants where we live except for the Waffle House or Dunkin’ Doughnuts so a Krispy Kreme would benefit our town.

Krispy Kreme ® Way too cumbersome and just doesn’t work

I love Krispy Kreme. Seriously, it’s an amazing product. However, this app (at least my experience) is far below the standards of their restaurants. I downloaded the app thinking it would be as easy and streamlined as others in this segment like Dunkin and Starbucks. Those seem to work smoothly and allow me to reload cards swiftly and with no glitches.

However, the Krispy Kreme app has gone completely off of the rails. I downloaded the app, set up my account, attempted many times to load funds onto my account with multiple methods of payment and every one of those triggered a “whoops! Something went wrong” message. After quite a few attempts I deleted the app to try again another day. Today was that day. I downloaded the app again, logged in, tried to load funds and again was greeted with “Whoops!...). I know these MOPs work as I use them daily and have no issues except for the KK app. So it is now deleted, again.

Hoping that Krispy Kreme can Trouble shoot this as I love their product but this app falls short of their reputation.

P.S. allow touch ID instead of continually logging on.

Krispy Kreme ® CANT USE MULTIPLE GIFTCARDS & OTHER ISSUES

I have over $40 worth between three different gift cards. First, there is nowhere to save the gift cards in the payment section of the app. Secondly, I’m only restricted to using one gift card at a time for online orders?! This is frustrating because sometimes we have to preorder our build-your-own custom dozen to ensure we get everything we want in our custom boxes (some of the specialty donuts sell out quickly, before we can pickup). I shouldn’t have to be forced to pay out of my own pocket when I have well over the amount in gift cards to cover the whole order.

Also when creating the custom build-your-own boxes, if we need to switch one or more of the donuts, we have to click on “Start Over” and input all of our options again instead of just switch out one donut at a time.

Lastly, the app crashes a lot! It doesn't save anything in my cart if it crashes or tomes out. And what’s the point of adding a “Favorite” shop if I have to search and select it everytime I want to make an order or continue an existing order? When the app crashes or times out, we have to start the whole order all over from scratch!

Krispy Kreme ® An awful app experience

I don’t usually write app reviews but this app genuinely infuriates me.
Trying to sign in fails constantly. I have no idea why. I used Sign In with Apple but it insisted that it couldn’t work. So I try create an account normally. But of course Apple doesn’t remember the keychain generated password it recommended so tha didn’t help. (Less the apps fault but still annoying) After a while it some how works I literally did nothing different. I go in and try to place an order because there’s a deal going on. I select my store but as a try to order it insists that the one store that is close to me has no donuts. It instead show coffee under the donuts tab and Merchandise under the coffee tab. I tried reopening the app thinking it was another bad glitch. But nothing worked and eventually the sign in issue came back. I just wanted donuts on sale man. I check the website to try and order but apparently it’s the same issue No donuts. Weird right? A hot and ready sign yet no donuts. No donuts at a donut shop. I’m losing my mind at this point and I decide to check at another store. Would you look at that! They have donuts! And everything you could ask for. So why doesn’t it work for my store? Who knows because there is now way to ask for help in the app. Also the other store is way too far away. Just my luck.

Krispy Kreme ® LIES!

I live less than a 5 minute walk from my local Krispy Kreme, however we've decided as a family to stop going altogether...ALL BECAUSE OF THIS APP. All of the three times that the alert actually worked, we walked over only to find that the hot light hadn't been on for quite some time ...so we received cold donuts. Not warm, not even soft...just like the cold KK donuts sold (cheaper) at the supermarket. Much to our disappointment, we had to bring them home to be microwaved...but any Krispy Kreme fan knows that's just not the same. I feel like this app is nothing but a huge scam to get people to frequent their stores more often! My 6 year old was actually the one who initially suggested the boycott (as she scarfed down her last microwaved donut) when she said "Daddy, next time can we go to Dunkin Donuts? Dunkin Donuts never lied to me." This is my first app review ever, I just wanted to warn all of you who download this app that IT'S NOT REAL! I'm not trying to go "full lib-nut" here, but jeez -- it seems like corporate America will stop at nothing to convince us into handing them our cash! They know exactly how delicious those truly hot and fresh donuts taste, and they con you into thinking you're about to get your greedy hands on one of those hot, soft, sweet, succulent...oops, let me stop!

Krispy Kreme ® Gambling, but with Doughnuts

If you play gacha games and know the term “winning the 50/50,” that’s a pretty good summary of using this app.

Half the time, when you place an order, the doughnuts that actually arrive are wrong. A friend and I ordered a custom box and an original glazed box, each: so four boxes in total. The doughnuts that arrived were: Two boxes of glazed originals… and two boxes of colorfully frosted minis. No sign of the custom boxes, but whatever, maybe the delivery driver gave us the wrong ones, or the store was getting slammed with orders that day.

A different time, I ordered a custom box and glazed originals, and this time, the custom box was almost accurate… except two of the doughnuts I’d requested weren’t there, and there were two extra of one of the other types instead.

Maybe there’s no raspberry filling left at my store? Seems unlikely, but I’ve never worked there, so I can’t claim to know.

But on top of the grievance regarding the doughnuts themselves, there’s recently been an issue where you simply c a n n o t o r d e r d o u g h n u t s. When browsing the order-for-delivery tab, not a single listing appears for doughnuts. You can order drinks, but you can’t add doughnuts- not singles, not boxes- you can’t build a custom box or order the recommended sets, there’s literally nothing there.

That’s probably something the app devs should take a look at- they’re shooting themselves in the foot by preventing their own business. Unless the orders are too severe for the shops to keep up with… but I’d at least appreciate that being communicated to us instead of the app just being empty. It’d be nice to at least look at the menu so that one could plan to order another day. :/

Anyways, that’s all for now. Hope they fix the order menu soon, at least.

Krispy Kreme ® DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

I purchase donuts, at a minimum of twice a week for customer meetings. There are two obvious businesses, until today, that I rotated my business with.

In attempts to save time for an early meeting tomorrow morning, I looked to see if Krispy Kreme had an app, in which I could purchase and schedule a pick up for the morning. I was excited to see they did provide an app for this service.

However, I downloaded the app, and provided my info to establish my profile. After that, I attempted to place an order for 2 dozen donuts, to be picked up at 6:30 am tomorrow. I was booted off the app 6 times, before I was able to place the order. Once I finally completed the order, I received an email from my credit card company, showing I was billed two separate times for the same purchase. I attempted to find a location in the app, to cancel and/or modify the order, but had no luck. I attempted to find a customer service contact in the app, but found the only place this was located, was buried in their privacy statement. I sent an email about the issue, but seeing the efforts Krispy Kreme puts in to serving their customers thru this app, I am sure this will be a lengthy issue to resolve.

My attempt to save a few minutes in my busy day, has failed and only added multiple task and my time to resolve their failure to provide a service they claim to provide. I would have been ok with KK not having an app, but I am not ok with a business promoting a service they are not able to provide and/or that causes a customer to work harder then they do, just to fix their gaps.

I will NO LONGER be doing business with KK. When I arrive at my meeting tomorrow, I will explain to the customer, who specifically asked for KK, the reason I had to bring Dunkin Donuts instead.

An additional purchase of 2 dozen donuts may not seem like a huge issue to some, but when you have to justify those purchases to your finance department, or take the time to resolve the issue w the business...it is a significant amount of time, and is absolutely unacceptable

Krispy Kreme ® Where are the options?

The app doesn’t list most of the readily available options. Like most cream filled donuts. I saw zero cake donuts. Sometimes I get orders for my Dad and those are more complicated than most orders. He’s losing my Mom to cancer, and since his one thing he adores is these donuts, it actually makes his WEEK better if he has them. The first thing we did after my mom was diagnosed with stage four cancer at the hospital was go to the KK across the street. He got three donuts for us, a thing of milk, and ate in silence, just crushed. He absorbed the donuty goodness and in that 15 minute break from the bomb that had been dropped on our family, he summoned up enough courage to drive back and go into her hospital room and tell her what the doctors found. His true love he’s been married to for 41 years.

She’s in her last weeks with this cancer and the MAN DESERVES AT LEAST SOME DONUTS.

I get that complicated orders are tedious and annoying so I thought ordering on the app would be easier. It would be written, not spoken, there would be no repeating, probably fewer mess ups, and definitely less stress for all involved.

But not only can he not get the normal cream filled ones that he used to love because of the new weird cheesy crust style donut (not nearly as delicious), but the app doesn’t even LIST half of what he likes, at all seven KKs in an appropriate area for driving.

I know my personal story doesn’t matter to most people, but it matters to me. And it’s illustrative of how donuts aren’t just donuts sometimes. They’re bonding and a source of happiness, and sometimes they’re the only good thing that happens to a good man in a horrific scenario. He deserves donuts!

Now I have to go and annoy the staff because of the complicated order. They’re going to be frustrated and disgruntled and half the time they take it out on me. Were it not for the love of my father, I wouldn’t do it. I don’t want to complicate things or be a problem. But dangit, it’s about the principle of the thing, and it has to be done.

KK, DO BETTER. You can. You have the technology. You can rebuild our trust. You will get more orders, and more MONEY if you have a good app! Do what’s good for you, and make us happy!

Krispy Kreme ® Very poor service

Hello, I was at Krispy Kreme on 09/27/2023 at 11:16 am. Located on 241 Route Paramus NJ 07652

The host name is Mariano, and he was very unprofessional. He took my order when he was talking with another customer at the same time. He also did the order wrong, and I said that was it was because he were talking to somebody else when you were taking my order. That's when he started yelling at me saying, "What do you want me to do? Tell her to leave the store?". While also yelling at me, he said, "That isn't what you ordered." I had the receipt in my hand at the time of this, and he was completely wrong.

The employee need more training and a little bit more manners to deal with customers. I have to cancel my order thanks to this very unprofessional employee Mariano. I know that nothing is going to happen, but I just want to let you know that you have a problem with customer service.

Krispy Kreme ® Advertisement and what is at the store at krispy kreme

On 3 sep 2023 about 0800 I went to krispy kreme at western blvd in jacksonville, nc. I ordered the pumpkin Spice maple donuts. Reply we don't have that one. Then I ask for pumpkin Spice cake donut; reply we don't have that one. Ask for blueberries cake; reply we don't have that one. I ask for a raspberry fill and once again I was told we don't have that one.

This branch of krispy kreme is a horrible example of business. I always went to K&K for donuts. Today they made me switch to Dunkin Donuts! Guess what they had everything I ask for!

Desired outcome: Fit this store's management and availability of product offered.Update the products on the website and the outside store board.

Krispy Kreme ® Issaquah store hours of operation/ out of donuts

We have had to do a lot of traveling the past few months with sports for my kids. Tried stopping at Krispy Kreme in Issaquah on our way home at 4:00. Sign on door closing says at 3:00 even though website states 8:00. Tried again several weeks later got there at 2:00 virtually no donuts. Didn’t even buy any. Left disappointed again. Just tried to stop again. Lobby doors open but blocked by ropes with a sign stating inside is closed due to smoke. They have a drive thru but the whole point of going is to actually go in and pick out your donuts. We left. We’ll NEVER try again. What a joke.

Desired outcome: None. We won’t go again and won’t recommend.

Krispy Kreme ® Very disappointed

Well we dearly love Krispy Kreme. We do not have one near us so when we planned our vacation we decided to go through Lubbock where there is a store. All 8 of us traveling together got out of our vehicles excited to start buying our doughnuts. When we got in the store there were very few doughnuts we couldn’t believe our eyes we went ahead and bought two dozen of what they had of course none of our favorites. They looked like someone had set on several others were very small others were oddly shaped & very greasy needless to say they even tasted horrible so in the trash they went. 8 people left very disappointed & we will see how this complaint is handled to see if we ever go back again!

Krispy Kreme ® Not efficient, and what a struggle to get our points!

This loyalty reward is not efficient enough for a company like Krispy Kreme who sells its brand products everywhere.

There is no bar code reader. So when you buy doughnuts out of site, in a grocery store, there is no way to cumulate their points.

In a month, the Krispy Kreme Representative, on-site, was struggling to scan my card used from my app, and twice, my points were not credited.

I actually did 3 transactions at the Krispy Kreme store, and only one was credited to my app.
It makes an 80% failure.

Now that I have claimed my points to the warehouse, I have to bring so many information that it makes it impossible to recover the points that I should have.

This app really needs improvement.

Krispy Kreme ® Bad App- Poor company to help out to resolve issues

I have your app with money in my account.Every time I try to pay using my app it does not work . I deleted and re installed trying to get it working. I talked to the people that worked at Krispy Kreme store And was handed me a paper with a 14 digit Mobil Pay that it linked to my account . What is the the purpose of having this app when I have to carry a piece of paper with my account numbers. I called headquarters several times to try to get my money out of my account . They would not do this . The person in charge did not care . She did not care to resolve my problem. I asked for a gift card in exchange of the money that I have in my account and they would not do it. Your app does not deserve any stars.

Krispy Kreme ® Great donuts bad app

Every time I have tried to do a mobile order this app has failed. I have two physical stores in my city. Right now the app only shows one to pick for an order. However, if I go to my favorite store, I can setup the order. The problem is there is no way to pick a reward at that point. If I pick the reward and then try to order, it won’t find the location. I’ve had problems with the rewards before (BOGO for $1) where if you start your order but don’t select the reward, you’re screwed and have to start over. It should not be this complicated. Break out the order flow so can 1. pick from ALL the locations and 2. add a reward to my order at any time. Other apps have this, there is no excuse for yours not to as well.

Krispy Kreme ® App lies about hot light status!

The whole point of this app is to let you know when the hot light is on at your local Krispy Kreme.

Unfortunately there is no actual data link between what the app presents and your local Krispy Kreme store; instead it relies on a database of what times of day the local store typically is making donuts.

That makes it completely useless as it forces you to go back to calling the store and asking, obviating the need for the app, so you might as well just use Maps to find the store and save storage space on your phone.

Update: They say this has changed; it has not. I am currently standing in a Krispy Kreme for which the app tells me the light is on, but it is NOT and no donuts have been made for at least 30 minutes.

Krispy Kreme ® Love Krispy Kreme but y’all need to work on your delivery system

I love their donuts, they’re the best; but I have issues with you guys’ delivery system. A week ago I ordered a dozen donuts for delivery. They took the money out with the quickness, but cancelled my order no sooner I placed it. Turns out it was an issue with their system & my order was never sent to the store. So I instantly wanted my refund. Well I’ve emailed them multiple times, I even called them yesterday & I STILL haven’t heard back from them! It’s been a whole week at this point, I want my money back! Your app is good when it comes to making a pick up order, but idk what you’re trying to pull with that delivery stunt y’all pulled. & why hasn’t anyone gotten back to me about my refund? Fix your delivery system.

Krispy Kreme ® Broken!

I do remember a day when this app worked, but it’s been a while. If you download and set up a rewards account, I recommend NOT using the Facebook option. I’m pretty sure that’s where they broke their own app. I sent another email this week and got this response:

Thank you for your email regarding our Krispy Kreme rewards app . We appreciate the opportunity to assist you. Unfortunately, when Corporate released an update I caused some minor glitches with the app. As of right now we can not reset passwords for your account. We are not sure when Corporates going to have a fix for this. we do apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

On 4/12 another update was released... and yet again the app doesn’t work.

Krispy Kreme ® Tipping

I’ve attempted to place multiple orders for delivery with the app. The order gets accepted, then the store cancels it. I call the store and they don’t know why it was cancelled. Had to call customer service to get a refund, which takes way longer than it should. I think the problem may be in the tip amount. The app only allows me to tip up to 25%, but it seems it is calculated based off the price of just the products ordered. I place an order that came out to $40 but would only allow me to tip $4 and change. I personally tip at least 25% of the total after all the fees. I’ve also recently read that delivery drivers won’t pick up orders if the tip is less than $8-10. Please add an option to put in your own tip amount!

Krispy Kreme ® doesn’t work!

Your app has been having problems for awhile now. I’m wondering why there are no recent reviews since October last year (?). The problem that’s been happening for me is crashing, not being able to be scanned, late rewards, and today not being able to log in at all! Even with the verification code sent to email (forgetten password, I can’t get into the app! It’s very frustrating! A LOT of changes are needed to have a good app, guys! It should be simple and hassle-free! I wanted to get the free donut and coffee today for National Coffee Day but I can’t even get into the app! The email says a barcode needs to be scanned IN APP to get the freebies you are advertising and offering. Why is this so difficult? Please fix!

Krispy Kreme ® Where’s my points?!

I’ve been using the other version of the Krispy Kreme app and I updated today. On the website and emails they’ve sent it said that I would not need to register for a new account and that my points would be converted and transferred. But when I went to log in, it said I had to create an account? And then I even tried to reset my password and it was not valid, I don’t know what’s going on but this needs to be fixed. I had enough points for a free box and now I can’t even get into the app. When I tried to make an account it wouldn’t even let me either.

Update: I finally got into the app after reinstalling it, but alll my points are gone, I had enough for a free box and I was promised that my points will vary over but where?! I want my points back

Krispy Kreme ® Worthless

No one in any store we have visited (my local store or while traveling) have been able to use the payment feature so the $10 I loaded is useless. From the reviews, it looks like that is a common complaint which would appear to make this a scam if KK is knowingly taking $ from people without the ability to allow them to redeem it in their stores. From my experience, they haven't even mentioned the possibility that they will one day be taking payment via the app to the store employees because they all seem shocked when I try to pay via the app. I was excited when KK came to our city but will stay away due to what I thought was an opening issue but now see (and discovered while traveling) is actually more of a company failure. Guess it is just a lost $10.

Krispy Kreme ® App does not credit reliably, in midst of a time-wasting adjustment

I liked the app at first as I thought it would keep track of my points but it doesn’t track purchases reliably. Even worse, recently I purchased points in-store and was charged 3 times but the points never credited so I had to go back to my credit card company and initiate a time-wasting complaint, I’ll end up spending an hour on it to get my money back. This is the absolute worst thing that can happen with an app, 2 stars are only for my early experience. Don’t try to credit in-store with this app (or wherever WiFi is spotty), if you want to add points, do it when you have a reliable WiFi connection well before going there. In addition, some of the newer store employees have a lot of trouble using the app to take payment and have to call their manager over.

Krispy Kreme ® Stole my money

I wanted to get points so I could get rewards so I decided to put $15 with my card into the app. When I went to the store and tried to pay they couldn’t take out the money so I had to pay myself. I went ahead and went to another store another day to try and see if maybe it was just the employees but the employees at the other store could not take the money out either. They even tried transferring the money to a gift card and that didn’t work. This app has a lot of issues. It also states I have a free donut but there’s no way to redeem it. I ended up emailing customer service about the issues because I felt that I was robbed by the app and to this date there is no response. This is horrible. I went ahead and disputed with my bank. They really need to fix their app ASAP.

Krispy Kreme ® Consistent App Problems

The app mostly never works - it has only worked once out of the many times I have tried to use it. Whenever I login and start an order, the screen is always just blank and none of their donuts show up. The only thing on the screen is to click “donuts” or “coffees and drinks,” but there are never any donuts or coffees and drinks to click and order. As I said before, just a blank white page. This is a consistent problem - the app is just terrible which is unfortunate because they advertise such great deals, such as free delivery on any order. I’m not one to write reviews, but this is getting ridiculous. Why have an app in the first place if it isn’t going to work? Also, it is not just me who has this problem, I’ve asked others about it and they have the same awful experience.

Krispy Kreme ® App Issues

I ordered on the app with 2 different different cards, & my my money was withdrawn from both accounts without actually completing my order. I contacted my local Krispy Kreme (the worker was extremely nice), but they did not see my order in store. I was given a 800 number to call, but unfortunately COVID-19 has customer service hours only for a short period of time during the week and Saturday's. I’m not upset with Krispy Kreme as a company, but it’s very frustrating to have the ease of using an app, only to realize the app withdrew money from my card without processing my order. Now I have to wait until customer service opens at 9am cst on Saturday just to prove to customer service that I made 2 purchases and never received what I ordered. It’s safe to say that I won’t be using the app again!

Krispy Kreme ® Shady. DON'T link your card

When you add money to your Krispy Kreme card and try to pay using it at the the store they'll scan your phone then give it back and wait for you to pay. Awkward.
Apparently "it just gave me reward points" but I still owe the full amount I was charged? Why did the app let me load $15 onto a card? No verification email but it charged my card. It clearly says you have money available on the app but the cashiers just look at you like you're crazy!
I never leave reviews but this really left me dumbfounded. When you read the app details it says you earn rewards but it doesn't say a thing about paying through the app. Not sure if this really is a screw up or just an easy way to snag a couple of bucks from people but I've never had anything like this happen to me. It won't even let me delete my debit card.
