So I have been trying to get in contact with koodo now for a week, and not for a lack of trying on my end. I have had countless phone attempts with them and not single one has worked out I have tried everything. But thanks to their 2 call policy that no matter if the call gets dropped or anything happens than your back to square one again with no way of returning a call or fixing your problem.

This all started when I made the mistake of setting up a monthly plan instead of the pre paid plan, I waited 20 days for my new sim chip to come in the mail without knowing that they have charged me from the time they mailed out the sim chip instead of charging me from the time I activated the sim chip like they said they would. Now its been 2 weeks trying to get them on the phone to deal with this $360.00 bill which was supposed to be only $140, so like a normal adult I asked to split this crazy bill up and of course the agent on the phone completely agreed with me than once they were off the phone like 3 days later I started to get the disconnection text and emails from koodo. Koodo you suck so bad and thanks for your trap but I am not sticking with a company that I cant even speak to so long

Recommendation: LEAVE KOODO AS FAST AS YOU CAN

Unfortunately, I have similar experience. And I am very long time customer, well over the decade. In the last few month Koodo prompted me to change my phone device, because the old will be not serviced as they are moving to G5 service. They said (via phone text) I will be not able to even make emergency calls. I bought a brand new G5 device. The SIM card was replaced at the Koodo booth. The phone works, however no matter who is calling the display shows "Private Number" (even from my home land line which I know is not restricted number and even from the numbers that are signed in as contacts). Also their own site (Koodo site, that is) states that the call display is a standard. The other issue was data, because after phone set up, I was informed that used all my data and it was all stopped. I attempted several times to contact Koodo through their help box on their site, so the phone would display the callers number. It was very frustrating experience to obtain answer from Koodo, rephrasing my quest several times to the robot. Finally robot let me have to set up a call from the "Koodo expert". When the phone rung, there was a machine/robot on the other side and it said: sorry, we can't detect your voice despite me saying several times hello. When I finally got to talk to somebody, they said I basically have no data. I learned that according to my very old plan, I have mere 250 mbps data which is far below 1 gigabyte. I was offered 25 gigabytes within the existing plan (read price/month) but I really don't need it... As for the call display, it was suggested that I should visit Koodo store, which I did. They took a look at the phone and told me there is nothing wrong with the phone, but because they have limited Koodo service they suggested I go the bigger Koodo outlet. I did. The person there said they can't help and said that someone from Koodo is going to help. No one ever called - stayed by the phone. Next day I tried to get hold of Koodo through the "Help". No success to establish a call from the "Koodo expert". At this point I feel I am send on the wild goose chase...Either people at Koodo are incompetent or unwilling to resolve the issue, the issue of call display that is standard everywhere today. I geuss will have to take a different steps. In all, I can say I lost many hours of my time achieving nothing. All I can say, there is no service at Koodo.
