Purchased a used car in 09/11:25. Salesman did provide all pages if carfax report which would have rejected factory recalls. Salesman had buyer 1 sign document for warranty without discussing it having buyer 2 sign. Bill of sale was written with one buyer instead of two. Salesman was dishonest and said don’t worry we will take care of major issues. 3 months later buyer was stuck on road with major issue. Diagnostic reflects engine has failed. 3 months after paying $6940 and there was a discrepancy for tires he sold me mismatched tires and was emphatic about my concern. Salesman will not provide any service report or any work they performed in the car. We allege they knew the car had engine problems prior to the sale. He avoided our calls had another family member call and he answered and he will not own anything. During the call salesman alleged buyer was probably driving with the engine light on which is not true but how would he figure that was the problem if all things unless he already knew it had an engine light and rigged the car to sale it with thus major problem.
Claimed loss: $6940 plus $500 to replace brakes and rotors $260 for tires
Desired outcome: Return car for full refund
