Intermountain Healthcare review: Unprofessional and incompetent

Waited over two months for an appointment with an NP at the Green Mountain clinic in Lakewood Colorado. Expressed that I was out of allergy meds and asked if they could please call if they had any cancellations for a morning appointment. They never called so I went to the clinic on the date of my appointment (5/1/25) only to find out they had a power outage. And as a bonus, I was treated very poorly by their front desk staff when I said how disappointed I was to wait over two months for a canceled appointment.

Also, it would have been nice to have been called and told that my appointment was canceled before I left my house but that takes too much common sense which they clearly lack. They called later in the day and tried to get me to come in, so I had to explain that this was a "fasting" appointment due to bloodwork and that I had eaten food. Then they wanted me to come in the end of the following week in the afternoon (they somehow don't understand that a fasting appointment needs to happen in the morning). This is yet another corporate entity that employs incompetent people and does not care about human beings.

I will take care of my own health from now on. Doctors aren't what they used to be and you will only get sicker if you engage with entities like this.
