I am reporting an organized international employment scam targeting Indian citizens. I applied for a job vacancy at NatSteel Holdings Pte Ltd, Singapore, via an online platform. I was contacted via voice call and email by an individual identifying as Raman Kumar using the fraudulent email address: [protected]@indeedasiajobs.com.
The suspect issued a fake job offer letter under NatSteel Holdings' name and claimed my Employment Pass visa processing was 90% complete. I was then ordered to pay SGD 850 (or equivalent Indian currency) under the false pretext of a "World Health Organization (WHO) mandate" requiring all foreign workers to open a Singapore bank account prior to arrival. Crucially, the suspect demanded that this money be transferred into a private, personal Indian bank account instead of a corporate company account.
This is a clear case of advance-fee fraud, identity theft of a legitimate corporation (NatSteel), and domain spoofing of Indeed (using indeedasiajobs.com). I have not transferred any money, but I am filing this complaint to freeze the suspect's fraudulent Indian bank account and request an investigation into this syndicate.
