Parked in the Impark lot in North Vancouver Jun 7, 2025. Was trying to pay for the parking on the HangTag app while walking to my destination and kept getting a network error, deleted app and reinstalled, same thing. Will admit had walked a couple of blocks away by this time. However walked back to pay at the meter, meter was glitchy took trying 2 different cards multiple times before the payment would process. When came back to car later, there was a ticket. Submitted a dispute to be told that they would not reverse the ticket. Talked to 2 separate CSR's then a manager. The manager basically told me that parking should be paid for prior to actually parking the vehicle. Seriously I spent 20 minutes trying to pay on the app and at the meter only to be ticketed in that time frame and the company will not budge. To top it off will not take the amount already paid of the violation amount. I swear there is a patrol person there that watches you park your vehicle and pounces to issue a ticket so they can grab more $$$$

Recommendation: Avoid Impark lots if can. If cannot, stay in your vechicle until you have proof of paid parking.
