This is a message for all of those who have been lied by Ideal Image. I am seriously considering to file a lawsuit against Ideal Image and I am reaching out to anybody who is interested in joining a class action lawsuit to write and describe their case or situation. I will print all of your emails and take them with me to the lawyer next week. PLEASE make sure you file a complaint as well with the Better Business Bureau and the General Attorney Office. It is very important to take these both actions especially with the General Attorney Office to make sure they receive as many complaints as possible to encourage a lawsuit. Let's do something about the lies, the rip off, the sales pitch, the burns, the regrowth of hair, the price changes...If we don't do anything then they will stil rip off other women (or men) who are so desperately in need to find a solution for their hair growth. Thank you for reading.

Started laser hair removal to bikini area. 2/26/18 is when the inconsistencies began to appear. Black course hair began growing back in a 4x4 patch in the upper right area. When addressed at the next visit it was addressed with a “double pass”. Four months after treatment ended 1/15/19, black course hair has grown in on the entire treatment area. I requested my contract in April and scheduled an appointment in May. Now its June and after back and forth they want me to pay $$80 per session which is called a lifetime treatment in the contract. So, if I need to get another nine treatments to FINISH the initial treatments is $790. I already paid $2500.00 for 9 treatments now they don’t care that the treatments were ineffective, and they want me to pay to fix it. They are claiming at my last treatment I had significant reduction and I took too long to voice my concerns. Anyone with pubic hair knows that hair doesn’t grow back over night, and if I had PERMANENT hair removal the hair shouldn’t be growing back even 3 months later.

I would love to get involved with a class action im already filing with BBB will do what ever is necessary

I would be interested in a class action lawsuit against them. I tried their cool sculpting "procedure" that did absolutely nothing and they charged me over $7000 for one treatment which they said would cost $3500.
I had collection agencies calling me 7 times a day and had to hire an attorney to get them to stop harassing me.
I filed a complaint with them with the State attorney in Florida but that didn't do anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

My problem is that when I was having my laser hair removal consultation, that I paid over 1, 000 dollars for the chin area. I was told my the sales manager that the difference between them and any other hair removal company is that they guarantee to 100% remove the hair in the area. One day, when scheduling my next appointment the girl at the front desk tells me that the next appointment would be my last appointment. I was confused because I still have over 30% of the hair growth. I waited and went trough my last appointment. Later once I was dismissed from “my treatments” I still have 30% or more growth. I called the office to let them know and told me I was covered under the warranty but that I have to pay 50 dollars per visit! That is upsetting after having paid over 1000 dollars the first place.

They left me scarred on my neck and skin burns on my upper lip January 2017, I have been fighting with this company over two years with no resolution. Its either an evaluation with a PA or scheduling an evaluation with their medical director (which is not a dermatologist shes a pediatrician. Run far away from these butchers.

Hello, do you have any luck? did they give you a worthless cream to treat and kept telling you to keep applying the cream for the burn marks to disappear? It's been almost two years and I still have the marks

I have been doing hair removal treatments for 10 [censored]ing years and 200% of the hair grows back! And on 4/7/19 I went for treatment number 120 at the Summerlin NV clinic, and was badly burned to where my undies are stuck in the blisters. The nurse simply said “ you’ll be okay.”

I just had a consultation 2 weeks ago. I signed some contract for a treatment package but not the loan agreement. Hoping to get out of it. They've sent me some nasty emails when I said I didn't want to do the loan but I haven't started the service or gotten a treatment yet.

I am starting a suit against ideal image in New York on the grounds of false and misleading advertisement, unethical practices and fraudulent services. I went to them for cool sculpting and was lied to about the services needed, wasn't charged the advertised price and the procedure they did made my issues worse. The were negligent with their post procedure care, in that when i complained to them about the excessive swelling and pain, they didn't concern themselves with the matter. I was also tricked into using their fortiva credit when i had asked to charge my care credit card for the procedure at no interest. i filed a better business complaint and listed my review on real self.

I’m 21 now and I did treatment when I had just turned 18. Not a smart choice but I was young and dumb and thought I could afford it. I was doing laser hair removal on my bikini area cause I always got razor burn and itched after I would shave so I thought it would benefit me. Personally I now believe they should’ve never accepted me (even though yes I was 18, of legal age). But, what 18 year old can afford thousands of dollars when you’re still in school with a part time job. This is something they need to look at how much someone gets paid monthly/yearly to see if they really can afford it. Like I said, I was young and dumb. And when they told me how much id have to pay I wanted to say no but I felt pressured by 2 or 3 adults that this was something I should do. So I started my first treatment that day and it was very painful, not a like a pinch how they described it to me. I welted horribly and it burned very much so. I returned however many months later for my 2nd treatment and the pain was even worse. They then told me that it would be more intense with each treatment but I could get a prescription for some cream to take away the pain but it was like $400. No, I did not have that kind of lonely so I made my choice of not returning. I later called them and told them I would not return for any more treatments due to excessive pain and asked if I was able to only pay for the treatments I received and I was denied. I do not notice any decrease in hair growth in my treated area. I felt that this was a total scam that was very easy for them cause I was so young and naïve at the time. Now I’m pregnant and certainly cannot afford to keep paying them for something that was absolutely worthless. They kept charging me interest after I was paying for 2 years. Now I owe more than I ever did. Totally lost and don’t feel that I owe them anymore.

Went in for a consultation and was told that laser hair removal might work and that if it didn't I would get refunded. My hair color if a dirty blonde/Orange. After 4 treatments the nurse who was going to do my 5th treatment asked me how I got the contract because I was not a suitable candidate. Thus we began the submission for the review of refund. By December 22nd it will have been three months since that day. I have called back 5 times asking for any news as to the refunds progress, but I keep getting the same response "our home office still has to review your case". It should not take this long to review something and make a decision. I am started to feel like they are ignoring me hoping I will go away. I am not even asking for a full refund, just a refund for the 5 out of the 9 treatments I haven't used. I too am ready to start making additional steps to get things rolling. Just made 1 last phone call and can probably predict what they will say.

I too am a victim of their lies and overall scam when it comes to the promise of hair removal. I’m still paying on treatments that ended three years ago because they hit me with over a thousand dollars extra in interest rates and continue to tack it on every month. It’s nearly impossible to pay off. My hair is just as thick and coarse as always, contrary to their promises... and it’s not blonde so that isn’t the problem. I now have a problem with ingrown hairs and sensitive skin that i didn’t have before as well. I am all in on filing a lawsuit!

Ideal image is a complete fraud. I paid them $7000! I am not satisfied with any services that I paid for! I had no results from the hair removal or the picosure or The coolsculpting which they upsold me on as well. The picosure I paid in full and the machine has been down at both locations and I'm not able to complete the treatments i paid for. And there's a waiting list once it's actually up again which has been since February. I will gladly show pictures of the results. I called them and all they said was 'come in so we can take some pictures'. I can't tell you how devastated i am that I paid all that money. I would do anything to get a refund but more than that to have this scam artists shut down!

This business is GARBAGE. DO NOT TRAP YOURSELF INTO THINKING THEY WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Your natural is more ideal than the b.s this company provides! I was a “perfect candidate”.. did ALL of my treatments. 2 months after IT ALL GREW BACK. I fought both with commenity bank ideal image and customer service for months. Not only did it grow back, it gave me eczema! I originally thought it was herpes, and then finally seen an obgyn and said it was eczema due to the lasers! I was told I CAN be refunded by the bank, who gave me floridas corporate number (THAT ALWAYS AUTOMATICALLY FORWARDED ME BACK TO THE MICHIGAN LOCATION I SIGNED UP AT) then told i cant be refunded the same lady, JACKIE who SOLD me the package in rochester. Filed a dispute and was told i had to go in for an assessment to be refunded my money and then going to make an appointment was told again that i WILL NOT be refunded. After continous fighting and disputing eventually got forwarded to regional manager Cory, who was EXTREMELY rude and clearly bored and bothered by my request for the business to refund the credit card company what was owed left (1, 400 & then charged an extra $1, 000 for not paying it off by the last treatment PLUS $57 fee a month for USING the card) she told me to come in for an assessment for a possible refund. I went in and the medical professional asked if i was taking growth supplements *no, just eat healthy* and she took a photo. I get a call from Jackie, who proceeds to tell me i have 50% growth back a lot of treatable hairs (WELL NO F*CK) however they will not refund whats left back to the credit card company. as i told her cory told me i can be refunded after the assessment jackie continued to talk over me and tell me cory basically said too bad i will not be refunded. JUST MORE TREATMENTS. and so i told her my doctor told me the laser hair gave me eczema and the junk @$$ machines clearly dont work. Jackie then said her medical professional didnt have record of that, EVEN THOUGH ALMOST EVERYTIME I CAME IN I TALKED ABOUT IT BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WAS HERPES AT FIRST AND FOUND IT WAS ECZEMA. This witch proceeded to tell me if I talked a little bit nicer maybe id have better results in getting my refund and laughed at me and told me go ahead when i said i will be broadcasting to everyone i meet how terrible this business is . WTF SHUT THIS TRASH BUSINESS DOWN.

Wow, its 5-6-18 and i’m online reading the same things going through problems with them. Basically the same story as everyone else. Told permanent hair removal, during the 8 sessions over time it seemed like my hair really was gone, but two months after the last surgery i basically had 99% of the hair grow back, NOT peach fuzz on my bikini area; Dark brown hair. Made my hair “thinner”. But after I shave (which i definitely will have to) from here on out those follicles will most likely thicken back up. I paid my bill online... i was really unhappy with the $959 interest charge all of a sudden. There was no notifications saying a promo would be ending soon.. I wouldve paid it totally off before hand if it was made visible to the people who pay online. i wouldve put a ton of money towards it in advance to avoid over $1, 000 of interest on something that did not even follow through with their advertising ... I absolutely am not surprised comenity bank closed their business with idealimage recently... id almost rather destroy my credit score/ dispute than pay $1013 of interest! On top of already paying $3, 165 . I called today and the girl wasnt in. I already know they are going to tell me to pay a co pay for more appointments. They arent getting another cent out of me and I am sorry for those who were suckered into keep doing treatments when they promise it would be permanently gone or with some peach fuzz after the certain 8 or 9 appointmenfs. I want a total refund because at the end of the day, they were 100% misleading because this seller does not fulfill it’s responsibilities.

I did the full set of treatments painful required treatments and am so disgusted by the fact that almost all of the hair is still there! I would join a lawsuit against them! They guaranteed this would work and it cost me 10, 000.00.

I too fell victim to ideal images lies and scams. I had only one session and have paid for more then that and they are now forcing me to continue payments while I am pregnant. I had a very serious allergic reaction to the laser causing my skin to be all red and bumpy. The treatment was very painful and they lied to me about everything. I keep recording ohone calls from them harassing me about making my monthly payments I have requested there corporate phone number to get out of this contract and I was told they can't give it out. I am very dissatisfied with their awful customer service and scamming lies. I would be VERY interested on joining this class action lawsuit against these liars! SG

Yes, I experienced excessive hair growth after one year of treatment in new areas, and regrowth of hair in the original affected areas. I also think one of the techs deliberately pointed the laser towards my eye when I removed my goggles and now I am experiencing decreased vision in my right eye. I would be interested in pursuing a class action lawsuit or other civil suit. JH

I totally agree with everyone. I have been going to Ideal Image for almost three years now. They promised to permanently remove the hair from my sideburns and all they have managed to do was make the problem so much worst. I have hair growing back in darker and with avengence in areas on my face that were not even an issue to begin with. They tried to tell me it was my hormones and tests proved that incorrect. They won't admit that they have created a worse situation for me. I would have much rather keep my issues with my sideburns than to have hair growing on my cheeks and jawline like a man! I am so angry and I am ready to for resolution.

Same problem here. I started my treatments 3 1/2 years ago. I think I have had a total of 12 or 13 sessions and there is still hair re growth, they burned my underarms s so badly one time I had pain for 3 days after the session. They also lied and misrepresented stating the sessions wouldn't be painful, and that my hair would be gone by the 9th session.
I paid $9000 for total body I wonder if there are lots more people like me out there.

I am also wondering about Ideal Image Laser Hair Removal. I have already had laser hair removal at my dermatologists office...I went a totally of about 6 times..six week intervals and had amazing results and 1/2 the price..I have already gone to Ideal Image 6 times and its almost 2 years! and my hair is absolutely still there..not even sure if I see a difference. Not to mention the amount of money I paid..and my son and friend are having the same exact results..sounds fishy...need to look into this deeper.
