Activation of new sim card

Dear Sir/Madam, I had purchased a new idea sim card (M:[protected]) from authorized idea store located at...

Wrong debit of balance by Rs.6/

Dear Sir,

My mobile no is [protected] in the name of Rajani Dhavre.

On 10th Sept2012 I got my mobile recharged by Rs.29/ and Rs 10/ both.
Immediately on getting recharge successful the system deducted Rs. 6/ for none of the reasons.And that too without my consent and confirmation/information.

It is totally unfair and cheating the customer.

At it's call center nobody is in a position to clarify the matter except throwing the ball on me.

I request to please guide me as what I have to do under the situation with such chitters.

Recharge

Hi,
On 13th March, I tried to recharge my mobile number [protected] from Idea's website online for 500 ruppees. The money got deducted but mobile was not rescharged.
Again i tried to reacharge from PAYTM website for 500 rupees and it got recharged. Below are both transaction details.

mobile connection

Iv purchased an idea postpaid connection [protected] but its wrong billing & policies i changed this in prepaid now they are deducting money from my account in name of falls services which never purchased, on 20th march 2012 they deducted 49 rupees from my account, i have registered a a complaint in idea costumer center on very same day, company's executives assured me to refund my balance but still im waiting my refund, executive mss pooja assured me about my refund up 3 pm of 20 march, but now they are not entertaing my phone call and my phone on all executives re busy, I cll & sent a sms to mr. rajan, company officer but no solution till now, actually its a big scam by birlas, earlear so many cases also pending against them, pls control multycrore cheating with innocent public by idea prepaid connection by deducting money from the consumer by giving falls services.

Sir, I have purchased Idea Sim bearing No. +[protected] long back about ten years. I have submitted 4 time ID proof to Idea company: - 1) at the time of purchase of Sim, plus 3 times as and when demanded by Idea in their SMS on my phone +[protected].
To day I am getting recorded massage from Idea that I have to submit ID proof without any delay to have the services from Idea without any obstruction.
In view of the above massage I would like to sumit that only one ID proof is sufficient to buy the new SIM. Whereas I have given ID proof 4 times to Idea Agencies/ Agents/ personal has not come to my home address to veryfy the ID proof? So that why I have submit again?
I don't know where, my ID proof have been utilized by Idea agent/dealer/shop keeper from where the sim was purchased by me?Is it not a matter of investigation by idea company? or civil authority? where ID proof are being misused by the IDEA company.
Let me know against which transaction my earlier ID proofs (all time similar ID proof) have been utilised by Idea?
I am Gazzetted Officer in Ministry of Defence organisation so that I can not submit again and again the same ID proof.
If needed by Idea, they can verify my address or Driving Licence given below. Otherwise I would like to change my service provider and it is better to submit the ID proof to new service provider.
It is a totally harassment by the service provider.

id proof verification delay

hi i got the idea sim in tamilnadu with my id proof as my driving license. but they blocked the outgoing calls & other services. Again i provide my driving licence id proof with photo to my nearest dealer in dindigul. i provide this on 23-05-2011. still they didnt activate my account. what is the process going. i need the refund with my loss of work. my mobile number [protected] tamilnadu.
the customer care officers says your account will activate within 48 hours. everytime they say samething when i will get activate my sim.

    i am using idea post paid mobile since last 9 years, & my house is situated in the center of raipur, near G.E.road the national highway.Since last year i am getting network problem with IDEA. I have lodged so many complaints to IDEA, but problem is still stand.no proper response / attention by IDEA to care the custmer.Ultimatly i got a new mobile connection of other operater & getting better network in my house.

Problem with Idea Number

Hello Sir,

My name is Deepak Bhatnagar Mobile No. [protected]. I am facing a problem with that number from last 2 month. A month ago, I have activated GPRS 98 RS Plan. But after getting the confirmation my amount is still deducted. When I complained about it resolved after 5-8 days after giving a regular calls in customer Care.

Now, I am facing the same problem again. I have activated 89 RS GPRS plan but still amount is going to deduct on regular basis. When I called to the customer care they said that, GPRS plan is not activated in my number. So that’s why they are ducting my amount.

Finally I have activated 98Rs plan. I want my 89 RS and all the GPRS deduction. I am screw-up with my IDEA number. Please help me.

harassment by idea by asking id proof again and again

Sir my name is saket nigam, i have prepaid mobile of idea cellular number: [protected], I have been a subscriber since 2004, by paying 750 rupees i had converted my card to life time.

I have furnished the required documents in jan 2011 and I have done this 4 times still it has been rejected time and again
i have furnished the latest id proofs (my new passport) and still my outgoing and incoming is barred, as my documents are latest
and there is no reason to be rejected. Now I do not now why idea is doing this to me

freequently disconnecting, 633 error etc.

sir, i bought Idea 3g netsetter on 25/10/2010 in chittoor, chittoor district, andhra pradesh which is disconnecting very freequently, ican not able to connect again, its displays the modem is in use or not configured properly, i tried it for about 4 desktop pcs. i contacted customer care but no response. i disappointed much.

Activation of Sim card

Dear sir,

I have taken postpaid connection of Idea 6 months ago. At present I wanted to convert it into prepaid. I have submitted all the reqired documents to M/S Shivraj, CIDCO (Cannaought) Aurangabad Maharashtra on dated 13/09/10. I have been recived the sim card on 27/09/10, but till date it is not activated. I tried many times to recharge voucher but it is failed. I have complained many times to M/S shivraj regarding the same but he had not taken any action against it.

So you are requested to do needful action and activate my sim card as soon as possible.

They started charging me for call to customer care

I had called a few times for DND service to be activated on my phone. I get about 20 calls in a day and 10 SMS. After trying that send message to a toll free number a few times, and it didn't work I kept calling the customer service and got the same response. They even started charging for the call to Customer Care, which I think is completely idiotic. So finally I asked to speak to a spuervisor and requested him that at least the calls that I get from Idea Cellular .. which are internal should be blocked. I had the same problem with Vodafone before and they did it. They stopped my internal calls in one day. so my point is if they could do it why couldn't Idea Cellular do it too. I had a long discussion with the supervisor and all I got from him was I understand and I'm sorry for the inconveienece. He did not do anything to help me or what we call a "CUSTOMER SERVICE" .. According to me, you are just wasting your money on making these ###s sit there on the phone for 10 hours a day and on the trainers who can not train them on how to handle the custoers and quality who can not make them understand a good quality customer experience and managers who fail miserably to manage the show. You should have a "GOOD WORKING IVR" custom designed for every scenario. That would be more cost effective and efficient because I don't see these imbecile representatives doing a good job at all, rather they provide you with a 3rd quality Customer Service Experience. If there's a simple question or a query, anybody can handle it. The question is when you have to go out of your way and provide a good customer experience, what do you do then. I am highly disappointed in the level of customer service Idea Cellular provides. I wish it was better but its not. my phone number is [protected] begin_of_the_skype_highlighting [protected] end_of_the_skype_highlighting. I don't have GPRS or MMS on my phone which I gave up long back after at least 20 calls and now I'm giving up on promotional calls and text from Idea which I DO NOT need. and soon I will be giving up on Idea Cellular too and move to Airtel as they have a better plan. I just don't want to change my number so I'm waiting for TRAI decision to be activated and I could change my service provider without changing my number.

Idea not Implemeting DND

My Prepaid Cellphone from Idea Cellular, Pune is approximately One year old. Soon after I began using it I registered the number on the Idea DND (Acknowledgement no 1-[protected]) and on the National DND (can be confirmed on the website). Despite this I receive up to 50 unwanted promotional sms and calls every day. I emailed Idea Cellular but all I got from them are standard format "we are sorry for your inconvenience..." kind of emails - but no action. All the sms are "bulk sms" where the sender's number does not show. This cannot happen without the knowledge, consent & cooperation of the host network. Obviously, Idea has no interest in implementing a DND filter - they lose all interest in the customer after a sale has been completed. Please help.

My problem is regarding Dialer tone

I am a customer of Idea since March 2007. My problem is regarding Dialer tone. During the first month my dialler tone was some english tone wchich was also not selected by me but forcefully activated by Idea. I am not at all interested in Dialler tone and hence whenever Idea calls me regarding same, I used to disconnect the phone. Yesterday I got a sms from 456 that my dialler tone subscription has been successfully renewed and Idea deducted 30Rs from my account.

Here starts my problem:

1. As I am not at all interested in dialler tone so it is not question of activating it. Even if in case it get activated accidently, my dialler tone is conventional ring i.e. tring tring since last few months.

2. I called Idea customer care centre and IDEA representative told me that I will get 30Rs within next 24Hrs. 24 Hrs is already left and I did not get any kind of refund. So I called Idea customer care centre next day and customer care representative told me that it is not possible to give refund and he disconnected the call in between.

I would like to get my money back as it is not my fault and I am 100% sure about it. I think Idea is fooling the customer by such things. I was fortunate to check and notice change in my balance otherwise Idea could have deducted money every month.

I am really fed up of the service given by IDEA. Last month also I got a very bad service from Idea for Internet settings. I do not really expect to have such kind of cheating from a big company like Idea. Sometimes I really feel like to switch over to the other mobile service provider.

Missbehave of Customer care Officer

I ( Subir Bose, Mob. no : [protected] ), submit this complaint against IDEA cellular LTD. On 20th june 2010 at 11:59 am, I talk to MR. Snehasish Kundu ( Customer Care Officer ) regarding my balance deduction and this time the person missbehave with me. I am totally HOPELESS for his behave and also for the conversation. I think, IDEA cellular LTD take a proper action for this.

    on 23rd jan 2015 around 11:8 pm I called your customer care unit Bangaluru for registering a complaint regarding my network connection and the treatment of the perticular person was extremely unpleasant.I am completely disappointed with the conversation. I hope IDEA cellular LTD take a proper action for this.

    I m Anjali, Live in Pune completely agree with above complaints.
    1) Not giving sufficient information in first call
    2) Non cooperation of online officers especially when you ask to connect with higher authorities - In first place these online people cant solve your problem thoroughly n when u ask to connect executive, these people hang our number this way that thenafter you try to connect to CALL CENTRE as many times, , you will get only one message - OUR OFFICERS ARE BUSY WITH OTHER CLIENTS. so who m i? m I not ?
    It happened with me today 22 March, 2015. It is painful... Many times before had these type of experiences. Got fade up of it n telling everybody.

    With reference to the above subject I M.B.Bhajibhakare putting few lines for your information.

    As per Govt. Policy Customer Re verification is essential, but we are facing much problems while making revarification.
    On date 22-06-2017 I had gone at Pune at your Retail shop at Bajirao Road for Reverification your Officials told me that their mobile is put on charging and it will take ½ to 1 hour . I was in hurry, so I asked him whether there any other shoppy nearby, he told me it is near S.P. collage then I went, at that shoppy your Officials told me that there Machine is not working .It is out of Order.
    Today I went to your shoppy at Barsi near Lingayat Boarding for revarification.he started re verification work and he asked me to pay Rs.10/- for this work. I told him there are no any charges for this work .he told me “you must pay Rs.10/- otherwise I will cancel your Re verification. I asked him to give me receipt for Rs.10/-He told me you will not get any receipt for it. And further he threaten me for cancelation and he told me rudely to get out from IDEA Shoppy .which is undesirable.
    If there are any charges for this work please display the news in our local news papers.
    Further you are requested to guide me in this matter what I should do?

I have been using this SIM number +91 [protected] since 2006 as postpaid connection and on 2008 I converted this SIM to prepaid.

On Wed 09-Jun-10 SIM automatically looses idea tower connection and I received “SIM Rejected” message.
From my alternate prepaid IDEA connection +91 [protected], I called to customer care and they reciprocate by saying they can’t help it as everything is aright from their end and I have to go near by IDEA center personally. I visited to “Idea service center” at Adhchini New Delhi

I received a new SIM @75 rupees on Thurs 10-Jun-10 and still today 12-Jun-10 my SIM is not active yet.

I still bearing the loss of some important messages of my client and crucial phone numbers inside the SIM which IDEA center representatives did not able to recover it back

I am still facing my personal and business loss due to non-availability of my number back.

If possible then please make my [protected] number available ASAP.

    A new service will be in the market soon from 1st Nov 2010 where you can change your cellular service provider using same mobile number. Look for better option

bad behaviour

Dear Idea cellular
I regret to state that an IDEA can change line is flop and failed.
very weak signals, blocking of call is very frequent even for 100 Rs

your customer care is worst than all others compnies.They all talk as they are bosses if we complaint of bill payment they say talk to your dealer at your area.

I will be very soon getting rid of your connection I will block it.
secondly I promise you that more than 30 more will be doing soon in next 3 days.

    I have an IDEA Cellular connection since last 5 yrs. But i always faced many problems while trying to approach the customer care department. Since last few months network conjunction problem occurs everyday in evening timings, but the biggest problem is to dial the customer care number. It is like a JACKPOT if they received your call. I want some gprs and plan information but no luck. Now i make up my mind to change the service provider but wants to punish idea cellular for that kind of worst service.

    I have an IDEA Cellular connection since last 2 yrs. But i always faced many problems while trying to approach the customer care department. Since last few months network conjunction problem occurs everyday
    when i try to call to customer care service the option doesn't came of customer care
    n i have 1 service activate on my mobile i.e. career guidance tips
    one day i recharge my cell with the rs 50 but the next day i found my balance in negative
    i was very disappointed
    But Now I Have Decided TO CHANGE MY CONNECTION

    dear sir,
    I agree with, I to have two postpaid connection due bad service provided by them I had disconnected one and also send request for next for disconnection, the way only to punish is to all of us to make strong mind to change service provider.
    The costmur care behave worse than government service provider,
    I have given request for disconnection as I have to leave delhi after having daily communication since 04 days till time it is not disconnected.
    A man who wants to pay their dues also they donot listen. I am affair how they will make company healthy in this period of economice recession.
    I am writting this so that if Idea top managment have some view on such complain they should look into.
    I, do think Mr, Aditya Birla such a success businessman will have some monitoring system and their managment will consult us.
    For Management reference my Communication ID with them is 64523538 dated 09/12/08, 64303339 dated 07/12/08.

De activated the mobile phone

I kept my mobile in safe custody for 6 months; the service provider despite being repeated reminded on mails and forwarding necessary documents they wanted de activated the mobile number and isssued the number held by me for last 8 years to somebody else.

I need my number back.

    Daily i have got lot of calls and sms of Ankita 9990399903 and Naveen 99902929292 for purchased new idea gold conection, number: 9540078627.

    And I have purchased them They took 500rs cash payment from me.

    But it has not been activated since last 10 days after the purchase of the connection why?


    I am very sorry to say, very poor response to your sim card activated teem
