Hi. I am a student of ICFAI and have enrolled myself for their MBA cource. my registration number is MBA2090514. I encountered the pathetic attitude of this university during my first group examination. This university usese schools as their examination center. The seating arrangement in schools are ment to accomodate childrens. I along with all the other ICFAI students was made to sit on a bench ment for 4th standard student. This was not at all comfortable. Given the fact that this course is a Post Graduation Cource, the management should understant the the physical size of any person after gradutaion is no where comparable with the 4th standard student. The same problem was faced while 2nd group as well. More problem started in 3rd Group. This was the time I learned that my initial payment of 68,000 (which was paid using PDC and included the interest amount) does not includes the examination fees. So now i have to pay 1000 rs as an examination fees every 3 months to go and sit on the bench made for 4th standard student. Why dont these people spend some money and get colleges as their examination centers?
Thats not all since now I had to pay 1000 rs towards examination fees i went to their Borivali branch to get my self register. I was told that the only two ways to get registered 1) online by providing your credit card or debit card details and 2) Paying the amount in Punjab National Bank and then registering online. So in both the cases i did need to have the access to internet. The person at Borivali branch failed to understand that i do not have the credit or debit card internet access and it wont make sence to pay my fees at Punjab National Bank as again i will have to go online and register.
Finally i decided to use my friends Credit Card and his internet connection to get registered.
The most disgusting I realised was their site. The site is not build to accomodate their current strength. May be the promoters of this university never realised that they will get so much of student base. The site hangs after every 3 minutes.
The payment portal is even more pathetic. Somehow after 2 ours i managed to reach the page which said payment succcessful please wait 5-10 sec for your hall ticket to get downloaded. The side hanged at this page and my hall ticket never got downloaded. I again went through the pain again with the same result the final hall ticket never got downloaded. But to my surprise amount of rs 1000 was deducted from my friends bank account was dedcuted twice all due their pathetic site.
I called up the borivali branch and was informed that even if the amount gets debited from my account it is not necessary that i am registered. I need to have the copy of hall ticket to make sure that i am registered. I was asked to write a mail to [protected]@icfai.org to get the amount reversed. I again went to the site again and tried to get registered this time at night very late cause i didnt want to take the risk of heavy traffic on the site. The registration went through.
I wrote a mail to [protected]@icfai.org regarding the addtional 2000 rs that were debited from my friends account to ask for directions as to how should i get that reversed. I realised that [protected]@icfai.org never replies. I had sent arround 6 mails to this address and have not received any response.
This ICFAI university is a big SCAM and goverment should take action against this university. It does not functions at all like any educational institution and the people realted to this university themself does not have any idea about its functionality.

yesterday i login my a/c for exam registeration ...but by default it shows my due balance of Rs 6000
Although i had made a full payment of cash Rs 30, 000 for the stage 1 & this time i have to appear for the exam of group C & i d'nt want 2 continue further as because of some family problem ...i would like you to please clear me that why all these obstructions occured in doing registeration ... please reply me back as soon as possible ... thanks

For changing electives you need to write a request mail to SSD at ssd@icfaiuniversity.in mentioning your enrollment number.
After receiving your request mail the official process could be initiated with verification.

Looks like ICFAI also is following the footsteps of RAJU's Khandani property making racket.
Important inputs from Mr.Kiran, so what r u all waiting - get going and start claiming your refunds - BHAGTE CHOOR KI LANGOTI SAHI, pick what you can and got moving.
Also maybe someone can check as SATYAM had MAYTAS reversing their good work likewise some company/s maybe there on ICFAI reversing on IAFCI in the name of their family members or so. BIG FISH FOR THE TAX, ANTI CORRUPTION AND SLEUTHS OF ALL FIELDS - GREAT.
ICFAI has been a great place where only the commercials matter and hence the customer (not student) is fleeced of money on every step. They are procedurally closing down all centers and selling away all furniture and fixtures, computers etc., to their internal staff.
Hence friends please ensure that you all collaborate and take this commercial institution to the consumer court on the case of cheating and manipulating with the lives of millions of students. Let the court hear how the students are facing the trauma, mental torture on insecurity, peer pressures, family and society pressures having chosen to go with this institution.
Now the promoter who already is a master brain on cheating people has similar records in the past and tasted the blood has become a ferocious animal seeking more blood. This is now being pursued by closing down the distance learning centers and instead concentrating on full time program centers opened on various names and charging fee between 3 to 5 lacs and the Big milch cow is the ICFAI Business School which is charging around 6.5Lacs taking addmissions of around 3500 to 4000 students each year.
If the law of the land decides they can pick on the institute and seize the property of all concerned and recover nothing less than 1000 crores which most insiders believe they have in cash, property or kind. It may also be suggested that for such a mammoth proportion of student community and executives being cheated, it can be taken on PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION CHARGES and a public hearing be called.
All law makers and Law system it is requested please pay attention to the plight of these youngsters and give a ruling such that none would venture into such a noble profession with a motivation of profit but with the attitude to serve.

I am sure the enrollment letter issued by Icfai surely contains the validity period. Clamed to have paid entire fee, I do not see reason why cannot continue appearing in the examinations during the validity period. Try writing to University and register for the examinations. I think you need to be more thorough with internal guidelines concerning your program.

I had joined ICFAI MBA program in the year 2007 and my Enrollment no #[protected]. I couldn't appear in the examination for last 2 years due to work pressure and family reasons. But 2 months back i tried to contact ICFAI through their website and sent several emails for continuing my course, I haven't got any response from their side neither they have replied back for my emails. The worst moment is I have paid my entire fees of Rs.84500 and I haven't got my course material of 2nd year or neither any correspondance inspite of giving change of address.
Im seeking your intervenion and helping in completing my course or refund of money.

Icfai & Icfai Family go 2 Hell!
Hey, I had similar problems of money getting into ICFAI's account twice only because the paper roll in the Credit/Debit Card swipping machine got over. After continuous emails and telephonic conversations with many people in ICFAI for a whole year, I realised that it was easier to call up my bank and ask them to refund the money because it was swipped twice incorrectly. In 3 working days, I finally get the money back to your account. Then why bother troubling ICFAI when you can do it the easy way.

ICFAI IS A VERY REPUTED AND POPULAR UNIVERSITY IN INDIA AND ABROAD AND THEIR COURSE CONTENT IS GLOBALLY ACCEPTED . iTS RANKING TOP 10 AMONG 10000 INSTITUTIONS AND UNIVERSITIES IN INDIA, I DON'T WHY PEOPLE ARE AGAINST, THEY ARE GETTING QUALITY BY PAYING A REASONABLE AMOUNT IN COMPARISON OTHER UNIVERSITIES .
infuture if u face the same problem, please call your Banker immediately and inform about the double debit and request for reversal .

I can't register the exam today sir.
I am not too hopeful about your getting your money back. After all, ICFAI is built by misappropriating others' money. I have lots of sympathy for the poor students who have studied there and are in the process of receiving degrees from there. But its high time, some of you took ICFAI to court for fraud- for not providing the education or the placements they promise. And if you want to do some social service, spread the good word around, so that ICFAI would not be able to defraud others
i have not yet recived my money back from dlp. i was doing mba from dlp my no. is mba2070779. dlp in dehradun people told me if u want to transfer u to inc dehradun u can do it and the money will b refund back, but is not yet refunded. so please look into this matter and refund it as soon as possible because i have to pay my fee next month in inc dehradun my inrollment no in inc is 7nbdh026.ce
