This afternoon I went to Iceland petts wood with my deaf son, sister in law and niece to purchase some ice creams , when paying for my ice creams I was asked by another member of staff if he could look in my bag as he said the Manager upstairs ‘thought’ he saw me put something in my bag , I proceeded to empty my bag (with no stolen items in my bag ) this is unacceptable behaviour the fact that the manager didn’t even attend with More information as to why. I was insulted and found it all quite distressing and having previously worked in retail in M&s for over 20 years and considering I lost my husband 11 weeks ago and was very upset by the accusation. This happened 27th June 2026 around 2-2.45pm I look forward to hearing from with your comments about most upsetting incident
