About 12-17-25 or so, at the Council Bluffs IA Hy-Vee #2 store, purchased 2 bags of Dole celery Hearts. When bags opened they had an excessive amount of dirt on them. Due to fresh food recalls across the nation due to food poisoning we threw them away. We didn’t think to take pictures of the 2 bags until we threw them away and they got mixed with coffee grounds, etc. we’re going to be very wary of buying fresh vegetables and fruit anymore.

Claimed loss: No monetary loss, other than what was paid for the products, but hopefully avoided health problems.

Desired outcome: Closer oversight & inspection of supplier products. Any problems with them when you sell them, become your problem, and affect your business reputation.
