My Hunyer Douglas electric blinds stopped working after less than two years. I decided to try new batteries. I decided to use Lithium batteries because of their longer life. Somehow, the motors in two of my blinds stopped working. Hunter-Douglas said it was because the Lithium AA batteries have slightly higher voltage. The batteries still fit within the battery industry voltage standards for AA batteries. The Hunter Douglas Website gives no warning about using Lithium batteries. In fact, it RECOMMENDS them for some models of their blinds. They want to charge me for new motors, and the motors will not be in until the end of the summer. These were very expensive blinds with very expensive replacement motors
Recommendation: DO NOT BUY
