This movin' company ain't no good. We had a big move planned for four months and just TWO DAYS before, they call and say they ain't got no crew or truck to move us. It was a real bummer. Seems like they overbook moves and only keep the ones that make 'em the most money, then cancel the rest. This business is just plain bad and needs to be looked into for fraud.

Humboldt was hired by *** Bros to move us from the *** to ***. They set up a date pretty quick to pack our stuff. They came earlier than expected on the day (former job was done sooner) but that was not a problem as we already knew what day they were coming and had organized our things accordingly. The two guys who came, Jake/Jay and Mike, were friendly, polite, and very accommodating with any questions we may have had. They worked fast and took good care of our items. They would double check which items were to go or remain, took care of our fragile items. I felt confident with this two man team as I saw how their work was progressing, which helped to reduce the stress factor of moving in general. Would recommend this company/team to others. This company came to my house to take care of my stuff, and they started loading everything. Things seemed fine until I noticed some items being tossed into the truck. When I asked the head guy about it, he said they would get wrapped later. I saw more items being tossed in, and when I went to the back of the truck, I saw my fishing rods just tossed on top, my $800 tool chest with the metal ratchet rubbing on the back of the tool box, and my mattress tossed in there with the plastic ripped off one side. One of the movers moved my safe outside and dropped it off the dolly, and when I asked how to get it resolved because the door got bent and the paint scraped off, the guy said he didn't know. This went on for the rest of the load, and I just kept watching stuff get tossed in the truck. When they thought they were done, I let the man know that I still needed my duck blind, bow fishing deck, and some 2x4s I had loaded as well. When I mentioned it, the guy just scoffed and got irritated, even though I had let them know that morning that everything in the garage was going. They tossed it in the truck, and I was handed a phone to sign. I asked to see an inventory list, and he said it would be emailed to me later. After arguing for a few minutes, he finally allowed me to see an inventory list, and I noticed my compound bow was not on there, nor were the duck blind, bow fishing deck, and the 2x4s. I handed the phone back to him, and a few minutes later, he said everything was good to go. I asked about my safe, and he handed me the inventory sheet from the day prior from a different packing company and told me to write it on there, which made no sense. After he told me everything was good to go, I signed, and then they left. About 20 minutes later, I received an email from them with the inventory, and none of the items he "added" were on there. He also put that the safe was damaged, which was not the case. I never got to see item descriptions until the email, and he had put that my new washer and dryer were dented/scratched, etc. My only saving grace is I took a video and pictures while they were there, which I'm sure I will have to deal with whenever I get my items. These people were by far the most unprofessional and rudest people I have ever dealt with. This is the only move where I expect my items to be broken upon arrival.
