Purchased 2.23.23 from target. These donuts are extremely dry and I must say tasteless. I checked the date the it hasn't expired or close to the date but boy did it taste like it. Because I don't have a vehicle I can't take them back. So stuck with dry tasteless but stale tasting donuts. Very disappointed in this bag of donuts...sad face. I sent a picture, it even looks dry sorry to say that

Long time Zingers and cupcakes fan and was always satisfied with your products until this current box of Zingers bought last week at Walmart. Cake and frosting tastes dry. The frosting does not completely cover the top of the cake and, on some cakes not on the top at all but partially on the sides if at all.

Where is your quality control?

I love these little cakes but am disappointed at the quality of this box.

The first week of February I purchased a box of raspberries zingers from hostess it was purchased at Dollar general in Mexico Missouri. When I open the box I open a package and it looked to be very very Brown I've never seen them that dark with a hardly any coconut on the top of them at all and they tasted like I was chewing a piece of rubber and absolutely had no taste but disgust. I open several packages thinking that it might just be one but it was the whole box very disgusting and inedible I have eaten these things for 50 years and just don't want to try anymore because it just went my image of the raspberry zinger I will enclose pictures and I would like my money back even though I don't keep receipts I do have pictures of the box and the zingers and they are disgusting and I would like a refund or a coupon to replace them. one tasted funny when looking at the product I noticed it was molded open the second pack it was also molded I was very grossed out knowing I ate a molded Twinkie. Cinnamon streusel coffee cake.
We buy these at Sam's Club. They come 2 boxes. Several of the cakes in both boxes had little or no streusel topping.

Husband threw away before I could take pictures of them.

I bought a box of 10 raspberry Zingers from Kroger and all 10 were dried out and burnt. This is my favorite treat from Hostess followed by Ding Dongs because they are always so moist and delicious. That was definitely not the case this time. They really are inedible... I thought about giving them away to coworkers but decided they are just too awful to give away.

I bought a box of Raspberry Zingers yesterday from Jim's IGA in Ishpeming, MI. Out of 10 cakes there was 2 with little cream in them and the rest no cream at all. Very disappointed. We buy your product all the time which isn't cheap because we love Hostess. I will submit photos of the box and cakes. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter. This product states 3 pieces per pack. However, only 2 pieces were in the pkgs.

In the photo, you will see 2 spots where the bouncers we're placed & a 3rd empty spot. After eating the last PKG, 2 pieces, I looked at the PKG and thought there should be 3 pieces in each PKG, and read that yes, there should be 3 pieces. So, I'm informing you of the incorrect packaging.

On February 2nd 2023 I opened a pack of Raspberry Zingers (3 in a pack) that I had purchased the day before at a local Bellstore. They were close to burnt on the bottoms, & around the edges on the bottoms they were completely black. I went ahead and ripped the edges off & proceded to eat them. Tasted rubbery almost, just didn't taste right at all. Then realized there was absolutely no cream inside if it. Not a speck. I then checked the other 2 and neither of them had cream in them either.

I purchased two packs of Twinkies at Circle K gas station come home open one pack and ate one tasted funny when looking at the product I noticed it was molded open the second pack it was also molded I was very grossed out knowing I ate a molded Twinkie so I called hostess and complain they said sorry mail you a coupon to replace the products when I received the coupons they were only worth half of what they cost at the gas station where I bought them Circle K would not accept the coupons thanks Hostess for the bad coupons and molded Twinkie things happen and I love Hostess I feel customer service really drop the ball on this one

I purchased two packs of your soft white hot dog buns on Tuesday January 24,2023 @Walgreen's. I have purchased there before without any problems. This time they began to mold by Saturday of the same week. The best by date is February 18, 2023. Which the reason that I have purchased them in the past. The buns normally stay soft and have never molded.

I bought a box of 10 hohos a week ago, expiration date is February 13, 2023.

More than half of them were not edible. They were so stale, like maybe they were not packaged right and not sealed right. The chocolate coating looked OK, the cake part was hardened, dried out and stale. Very disappointing purchase. I had to throw half of them away. Tasting the stale cake made me not want to eat them anymore. It was disgusting 😒

I was eating a zinger a few days ago and noticed a hard lump of plastic in it. It's black and pretty small, what's the deal with this, Hostess? About 5 other people talked about it on here and it still hasn't been brought up.

These zingers are one of my favorite snacks and i'm so dissapointed. I called in & they told me to send in the whole entire pack & piece.

I bought Hostess chocolate cupcakes after finding myself fond of a off brand alternative that's available at the vending machines at work. To my surprise the hostess brand cupcakes were terrible. There is barely any frosting at all on a dry cake with lackluster cream. It's sad that a recognizable brand like Hostess has gone down hill so much. I mean [censored] when an imitation product is better than a original name brand they might as well shut down. I won't be stupid enough to buy any of your products in the future.

On Dec 31, 2022 we bought 2 boxes of above at $3.50 each (total $7 plus tax) from family dollar store here in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. My only mistake was that I didn't check the expiration date, just paid for them and drove away. When my husband opened one, he eventually found out that they were expired on Dec 22, 2022 as stamped on the box. I sent an e-mail to the store to complain, but up to this time we haven't heard from them. I wished we could return them and replace with unexpired product.

My husband said, just throw them away.

Purchased several cherry fruit pies with exp. 1/18/23.

Pies were thick inside like if expired. Not fresh cherry pies, the outside was cooked very dark and had partially missed the sweet coating. Not good Quality, definitely stale pies

Hi I purchased a box of twinkies from farm food stores in Stockton uk at the beginning of January with my usual shop, My self and husband thought the twinkies tasted of plastic and not nice at all put it in the bin on looking and checking the cakes in the box the appear to be mouldy! We have both been very I’ll off this vomiting and feeling I’ll.

I purchased the donuts today at the Bowling Green MO Dollar General store around 2 pm. Later this evening I decided to have a few for a snack. After eating a couple I noticed a burning sensation in my mouth and an odd spicy/burning sensation from the taste of them. The burning sensation in my mouth and throat has continued to get worse even though I have taken Benedryl to try and counteract it, I'm getting ready to take a second one in hopes this takes care of it. If not I will be contacting my telehealth to see what I need to do or possibly going to the Emergency Room as it is making my throat feel swollen and burning. I need to know what you have started putting into your product that would be causing this reaction. I will no longer be purchasing your products anymore.

I bought a bag of donettes from a shell gas station in fruitland iowa and they were a month past experarion I can’t believe they wouldn’t remove expired products from the shelves I ate one and it was discussing and hard that’s when I seen how much past expropriation they were. I like your products usually I am suprised this even happened and this is my first complaint. This happened 1/10/2023 at around 330 pm is when this happened

We purchased a box of Zingers and a box of orange cupcakes at Winco in Grants Pass, Oregon 97526 last week. The box of Zingers is unacceptable. 3 of the individual packs were opened on one or both ends! They were dry and disgusting! Unfortunately, I do not have the receipt or the outer box. I still have the outer box for the orange cupcakes, though. I think you should refund the box of Zingers or send us a new box. Thank you.

Finally found them in the store again. Very hard to find. Bought around January 4, 2023 at Buttermilk Hollow Road, Shop-n-Save, West Mifflin, Pa 15122. Expiration date February 8, [protected] 6:29. The outside chocolate was crumbling away and most did not have the outside coating at all. Very disappointing. Hope to find these more easily.
