I have e-mail confirmation that Hoover approved my refund of a battery and battery charger model number DH29040V & BH05000P Did not need these parts. Refund reference number 1373043. I have called number:
1-800-944-9200 on March 9, 2025, April 3, 2025, April 22, 2025, May 6, 2025 and May 19,2025 asking about the refund I have not received. Customer service says it has been sent to Hoover refund department in the first 3 calls. Yesterday they told me the funds have been released, and I should see a refund which they say has been sent to my credit card company. And I should call my credit card company. I have called my credit card company every day and they do not show a refund on my account.

They are playing hot potato with your funds — Hoover claims it’s been sent, the card company doesn’t agree, and you are kept stuck in the middle chasing after nothing. If they have confirmation email and reference number, the delay is entirely on them. Don't let them continue ignoring your concerns — either they sent it and did botched the transaction, or they are lying. Tell them off hard and stick to your guns by saying actual proof of transfer must be provided, or else they must be escalated to someone with proper authority. No more phone tag. It’s your money, not some favor being offered.
