I do my homework for big tickets expenses such a getting a new roof and I found out that Honestroof was by far the best in quality and cost. He doesnt care what my insurance is paying. He in fact said "That is none of my business". He and is crew is very professional. He emailed me updates during the installation process, educated me on the insurance claim process. I had a question few days after the install and texted Dennis. He responded in 5 minutes even though our business transaction is over. Dont waste your time and money on other roofers. A++ service.

I came across HonestRoof while doing my own search for a company to come out and take a look at storm/wind damage. Due to the current virus worries that we are all dealing with, my insurance adjuster was not allowed to come on-site to inspect the damage themself so Dennis stepped up and documented everything for my insurance. He really went above and beyond to make this whole process as seamless as possible. On the day of the job, his crew functioned as a well oiled and efficient machine. I could not be happier with whole process and work that was done. I would recommend them to anyone needing roof work.

Dennis is one of the most honest top notch roof professionals I have ever met. He actually gave me an estimate to fix my roof without trying to take advantage of my insurance paperwork and take all my money. He thoroughly explains everything and the craftsmanship of his work is amazing. His team found several mistakes in the venting system, particularly the part that drained near the bottom of the top of the chimney. They replaced the entire decking pieces that had venting, ensuring that it wouldn't bow up in the future. Dennis builds roofs that are built to last and even offers a 20-year leak warranty. He stands behind his work and has been in the family business for over 30 years. I highly, highly recommend Dennis. I'm really impressed with the amazing quality A+ work performed by HonestRoof.com. Every detail and small things count for them, from prep work, removing old shingle, putting down new felt, new flashing, new roof, calking for chimney and flashing, all the way to cleaning up (gutter and floor). The team is wonderful, all smiling crew members, project manager Alex and the owner Dennis are all wonderful, listened to and answered all our questions during the roof replacement process. After they left, I tried to find some nail on the flower bed and lawn, but could not even find one! I also went up to the roof to see if there's any loose end, but could not find any. From my initial contact for quote to the final closing of the roof installation, my experience with HonestRoof.com has been exceptional! I received a quote for my roof within hours of my initial call. The quote was more competitive than other roofing companies I've contacted. I paid exactly what was quoted and only after the job was complete. Our newly installed Owens Corning shingles also comes with a 20 year warranty. After attempting to get several bids on replacing my roof I came across HonestRoof.com. I say attempt because my experience with other roofing contractors when inquiring about a bid well they were more interested in what my insurance company was giving me to replace my roof rather than just giving me a bid on what it would cost to do the job. HonestRoof.com was able to give me a bid using satellite imaging, a very convenient method for my husband and I as we are busy people that had already taken the time to meet with other contractors. I was able to get a bid from Dennis w/ HonetRoof.com within 24 hours he never even asked if we had an insurance claim, and he was thousands of dollars less than the bids we had already received! After checking his reviews with ComplaintsBoard.com we went ahead and hired HonestRoof.com to do our work. We were NOT disappointed! The crew showed up when scheduled. The worked proficiently, took extra care to protect our property, did a great job cleaning up, and were done in less than 7 hours. You couldn't even tell they were there after they left except for my new beautiful roof with upgraded vents, flashings, and shingles! Honest Roofing was referred from a neighbor on the the Next Door app, and I decided to give them a try for myself. Just let me say, the response time was impeccable, and the ability to finish the project in a day was a plus. They have great shingle options to choose from as well. I have never had a full roof replacement, and Honest Roofing made this effortless and timely. The crew was respectful and I recieved updates and pictures of the progress being done on my roof. I'm horrible with names, so I'm not sure if it was Dennis who came after everything was fished and done, but whoever he was, he provided information regarding my roof and the fact I had the wrong size vent and it was not installed correctly. They updated and fixed! Overall it's definitely a company I would reccomend. I had 2 other's who were well over priced and didn't provide any cost estimate sheets or reasoning for lack of product to choose from, and the one that came reasonable to Honest Roofing, wasn't to inviting and I just didn't feel the level of attention that was received from Honest Roofing. Oh and literally, 2 days after the roof work, I had a woman stop by while I was outside working in the yard, and she asked about my Roofing. The lady said her husband saw my roof and liked the shingles. I provided her the phone number and let them know of the awesome work!? I really do love my shingles, too.

Without question, the absolute best contracting company I have ever worked with! I can't say enough great things about Dennis, his crew, and the company he runs! Exceptional customer service and follow-through on all ends. Dennis provides a detailed proposal and will take the time to discuss it without rushing the conversation along and pressuring you into anything. I had another big, local company that I have used on 2 other roof jobs come out and give me a quote on my new house. They were literally twice the price as Honest Roof with actual apples-to-apples product offerings, and Dennis even provided a few extra things that the other company didn't. The other company wouldn't believe me that Dennis's quote was so low with the same high-quality products. When I showed them the quote, the salesman just mumbled under his breath and complained that he didn't know how Dennis made any money. Yes! The price savings with Honest Roof is that substantial. I wish I would have known about them on my last couple of roofing jobs… Beyond price, the entire experience was a true pleasure and the crew was in and out in a few hours. As a first time homeowner and for the first time having to replace a whole roof, I didn't know who to trust. The unregulated roofing industry in Texas can be like walking in a land mine full of storm chasers and scammers looking to sweet talk you into giving them your project only to receive nothing but lesser quality roofing materials and poor workmanship and the high probability of getting your whole roof ruined. Searching for an honest roofing company online, one link leads to another until I landed on HONESTROOF.COM. For three weeks, using Google and ComplaintsBoard.com (ComplaintsBoard.com) I researched this company and all the reviews I read about it and it's owner, Dave was rated five star A+ from many, many satisfied customers. The roofing industry in Texas is not a place you can easily find a company with an impeccable track record like that of HONESTROOF.COM. I called up Dave and got a satellite imagery of my roof and receive a quote the same day. Two weeks later signed a contract and a schedule date, 6/29, to do my project. With top of the line materials by the top manufacturer in the industry, I now have my roof replaced by HonestRoof and not a penny was added to my estimate. I even have an upgraded ventilation system powered by solar fans and ridge vents which makes my attic a whole lot less hotter than before. Couple of my neighbors who had used other companies were impressed by the ventilation system I got from HonestRoof and wished they had known about this company. I am very satisfied with this company and highly recommend it to all homeowners who wants to have quality products professionally installed by someone who's being working on roofs since the age 13 and honest about everything he tells you that you going to get on your roof. I would like to share my experience with roof claims and roofing contractors. When I first replaced my roof back in 2003 I allowed a roofing contractor to take over my whole claim (roof, gutters, windows, etc) - I thought that was the ‘correct' way to handle a claim. Come to find out most all roofers cut corners and nickel and dime the insurance companies to put more money into their own pocket. Fast-forward into 2020 I decided to do some research and handle my claim on my own. Sure it is a little bit more leg work- but you will be able to get quality work if you shop around. Before I start please do not file a claim for a roof until you know your roof is damaged, you do this by calling several roofers out to give you FREE estimates as well as pictures they have taken showing your need for a full roof replacement (Check your windows, gutter, fence, etc for damage). You have no obligations to these roofers that come out to give you estimates. Thank them for their time and tell them you will contact them if you decide to go with their company. Once you have enough evidence that you need a full roof replacement THEN file your insurance claim. Once your insurance sends out an adjuster (please do a detailed walk-through with the adjuster) and they determine you have damage ( to roof, gutters, fence, windows, etc) then you start your leg work. Your insurance will send you an Itemized estimate under one claim and will cut your first check. Once I received both from my insurance I shopped around for a roofer to do only the roof portion, a window installer for my window screens and a gutter installer for my gutters. Most roofers were angered at the fact that I did not turn over my WHOLE claim to them and show them the total amount my insurance was paying for the claim. This is none of their business! Their job is to tell you how much they will charge you to do the Roof repairs, what type of product and warranty they will provide you... period ! You do this with each installer ( fence, window, gutter,etc). Only show them or tell them the itemized section (without dollar amount) of what needs to be repaired. Do this so that they do all the work your insurance paid for and because if installer finds something in addition to while they are repairing- you can send a supplement to your insurance company to cover that additional expense. After several roofers were trying to take over my whole claim, me refusing to show them the amount my insurance was paying I came across honestroofing.com. Dennis the owner didn't care about what my insurance was paying. I gave him an itemized list of my roof repairs and he submitted his estimate with amazing free upgrades! He answered all my questions. He offers a 20 year warranty on workmanship, uses quailty product and offers great free upgrades. Dennis and his crew followed through in doing such an amazing job (completed in less than a day) on my roof, prepping and cleaning up! He will provide you two invoices one for yourself and one to submit to your insurance for completion of work done. HonestRoof is just that HONEST! Doing it this way is a little bit more leg work- you will have to break down the claim amount (do some math) to pay each installer the amount your insurance allowed for each (window, roof, fence, etc) and if you find for cheaper then you get to pocket that money! I let my insurance know a head of time that I will be hiring several installers and as I complete each repair I will send in receipt to collect my depreciation check. Use google as a tool if you hit any snags on how to handle your own insurance claim.
